That said, purchasing/consuming child porn, IMO, is just as bad as touching the kids yourself, because you create a market demand for people to produce said porn. Consequently, both the producer and the consumer need to be summarily executed.

What would you do with people so depraved that they get their kicks from sexually exploiting/fantasizing about/or molesting children? Keep in mind here, I’m not talking about 15, 16, or 17 year olds sending snatch pics to each other, so long as everyone sending and receiving is doing so consentually and isn’t an adult/outside the legal age range of consent.

This mess is demonstrating a broader problem with how we treat mental illness in the states and why we turn out so many maniacs of various stripes.

People with “unpleasant” mental disorders are either ignored or shunned by the system until they finally snap. It’s what happened with that solider that shot-up his base a while back: everytime he went to the medical unit and told them he was having violent breakdowns and needed help they ignored him.

Which ironically allows crimes to happen they we could’ve prevented by working to talk to down the people that were considering committing them and cried out for someone to stop them.

Yeah I was on Fort Hood for that, and that isn’t what happened at all. He was denied leave multiple times to go see his dying mother in Puerto Rico and when he went in to the S1 (HR) to get his leave form that day, they told him “come back tomorrow” (his mother was literally on life support about to go at any minute) and he lost his shit. But yeah, the pedos are the misunderstood victims here.

Speaking as someone who works *in* mental health, there is no cure for a -philia. There isn’t even meds to help control it like other treatment resistant conditions. Rehab for offenders hasn’t worked. Chemical castration hasn’t worked. I’ve had multiple debates with multiple psych professionals, including criminal psychologists, on the problem because I *have* had to work with those who are on the registry for said crimes. All of them agree prison doesn’t work. I don’t have a definitive answer for the problem, but I’m wholly on the side of capital punishment for those who hurt children in that fashion/watch/make cp.

there is no treatment for people who are attracted to children. It may clinically be deemed a mental disorder, but I struggle with that one. Some things are too evil for someone like me to attempt to treat (i have respect for those who are forced to work with them and remain professional). That’s for those who haven’t acted. Those who have, short drop, sudden stop/bullet.
