Anthony Joshua vs Wladimir Klitschko - April 29, 2017
We might not be getting a Joshua-Wilder fight in 2018, but we got some fireworks on the docket at the top of the heavyweight division.
WBO, WBA, IBF, and IBO heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua (21-0, 20 KOs) will be defending his belts this Saturday (Sept. 22) at Wembley Stadium. After an admittedly bad performance in a win vs Joseph Parker and the falling through of talks of a fight between Joshua and Wilder, Joshua needs an impressive performance to keep the narrative on his fighting. This will be his debut (for U.S. customers) on the streaming service DAZN as well.
His opponent will be fellow KO artist and former WBA champion Alexander Povetkin (34-1, 24 KOs).
Anthony Joshua will lay it all on the line against Alexander Povetkin as part of his 2 fight deal in Wembley. The heavyweight bout is scheduled for 22 September.
And the NEW WBO HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION OF THE WORLD! AJ now possesses all of Tyson Fury's former belts after an above par heavyweight contest which went the distance. All three judges scored the bout 118-110 in favour of Anthony Joshua giving the Samoan only a round!
The Giants Have Weighed In! Anthony Joshua 17.4st Joseph Parker 16.12st Only one last sleep to go till some bodies 0 has to go!
LETS GET READY TO RUMBLE! The long awaited heavyweight unification bout is on! Anthony Joshua will defend his IBF WBA and IBO titles and Joseph Parker will defend his WBO belt at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff, March 31.
AND STILL! After breaking his nose AJ retains his Heavyweight Championships after a stoppage in the 10th round.
Both fighters have weighed in! AJ: 18st 2lbs (career heaviest) Carlos Takam: 16st 11 1/2lbs

Joshua vs Klitschko
It appears Klitschko is still yet to make up his mind if he wants to exercise the rematch clause between him and Joshua. Currently the situation is hanging in the balance.
