Christmas and it's ability to unite us.
So it's 2days until Christmas and I have a story I want to share. Sure this holiday season stresses us out. We're all running around with our heads cut off buying and buying and buying. Usually for things we didn't even need to buy in the first place. But through all this confusion and headache. I've noticed that "Merry Christmas" Is stronger than ever coming out of people mouths and more importantly, their hearts. I've hear more, " Merry Christmas" this year then any year I've been living in Ontario, which is 10 years now. Keep up the Merry Christmas vibe guys. Religion or not, it's an expression of respect around this holiday. Just like "hello" or "have a good day". All of you have a Merry Christmas and a wonderful New Year.
Here's how anyone can understand our Cosmic address in the Universe and the implications of Space that come with it.
Thinking of our earth and how MASSIVE it is in scale proportionate to us, a human being seems huge! To us the earth is HUGE!!!
But to an ant, we’re huge. And to a microscopic organism, the millimeters of tiny tiny space that they live in, is huge to them.
Here’s a snowflake:
Imagine this snowflake is our Solar System and the center of the snowflake is our SUN. That hot burning ball of a star we enjoy those days at the beach with. Throughout this snowflake lay the planets in our solar system. All governed by the gravitational pull by the sun, but what’s outside of that space that we call our solar system.
This is the Milky Way Galaxy:
You can see us in this picture, just as much as you can see an INDIVIDUAL snowflake among the millions and billions of snowflakes that fall each year…but I assure you… we’re there. Inside the Milky Way Galaxy, there are billions and billions of solar systems, stars, planets and moons. Each with there own properties and characteristics.
NOW, what’s outside of THAT!?
This is an example of what astrologists call, “The Observable Universe.”:
The observable universe is broken down in a few simple ways:
What we see in our solar system
When we look past the farthest planet in our solar system
And all the stars many and in-between
All those glowing lights we see in the previous picture are all individual galaxies, again, all with their own stars, planets, ect.
The closest neighboring galaxy to our Milky Way is a galaxy named, “Andromeda”.
Astrologers have viewed space up to a radio active wall of gas and elements that science believes it the blast wave from the big bang.
So when it comes to feeling huge in our solar system, we get shot down, and hard. We are but a tiny little spec of dust within a billion-billion galaxies.
We’re like the snowflake.
The Observable Universe still needs to be explored, still needs to share more secrets with us and feed our curiosities into what lies beyond. Maybe one day, we’ll get there.
Right now, I’m going to eat pizza and play video games.
The Nerdist Podcast... We're all NERDS!
3 years ago I used to watch this wicked awesome show on a wicked awesome television network with these wicked awesome hosts. It was G4 TechTV, the show was Attack Of The Show and amid the plethora of hosts' on the show; One man stood out the most. Mr. Chris Hardwick
He has a podcast I dearly enjoy and idolize named The Nerdist Podcast. Alongside him, is what he calls, " The Sister Wives." Matt Mira and Jonah Ray.
The first time I listened to Chris and the sister wives shoot the shit with Tom Hanks, I was in stiches. They have this awesome way of communication where each member has a great and fun time interviewing celebrities or people of significance and personally, I feel like I'm there with them. Sharing the laughs and the energy that they bring.
Because of The Nerdist network, I found the confidence to begin my own podcast along side my brother, nasonibrahim, and we strive to perfect our podcasting skills and try to have as much fun as The Nerdist Podcast does.
I love this Podcast!

Under 3 weeks left in the first semester...And I couldn't be happier.
September, school began and I was on my way to radio personality super stardom...at least i thought so. In Humber Colleges' Radio Broadcasting Program there are 4 pathways one can choose to excel in starting second year, semester one:
1. Production
2. New Announcing and Writing
3. Broadcast Announcing
4. Copy-Writing (Commercial Writing)
Now, like the title of this article suggests, there's about 3 weeks left in school for the first semester and after all of this hard work...assignment after assignment... it's all coming to a tightly knitted close.
There's one thing or thought that keeps entering my mind... which pathway am I going to choose come second year of Radio...? It confuses the hell out of me.
First I was dead set on choosing News Announcing...but...ugh...
then i wanted to be a Copy-Writer...again...i changed my mind...
PRODUCTION! YEAH! I can do that... I am actually interested in pursing a career in production. I'm really good at it and they say, "Do what you love doing, and you'll never work a day in your life."
As of right now, I'm set on production. I guess we'll see what happens in second semester.
To my fellow student bodies, good luck on exams and give it your all!
The CWs Arrow and Flash: Stephan Amell & Grant Gustin: The greatest Heroes to ever Act!
I remember when Smallville was on the CW… I LOVED IT! Tom Welling was my hero, a young Clark Kent taking on meta-humans before he became super man? It was awesome.
Then…Arrow and Stephan Amell came into my life.
I was torn seeing this new actor dawn the mantle of Green Arrow and to be honest, at first, I thought it was going to suck… “Who is this pretty boy trying to be a hero?” Literally, my initial thought when I seen one of Arrow’s first still pics Featuring Stephan Amell as Green Arrow himself.
Let me just say, after the first episode of season 1,I WAS HOOKED! Nothing would interrupt my Wednesday nights! Nothing…not my job, school, girlfriend or family. It was Anthony and Arrow time Wednesday nights. Season 3 is continuing to capture my attention and increasingly causing my fan boy dreams of meeting Stephan one-on-one will one day come true, I know it!
Then… the CW announced that they were adapting The Flash for network television…
OKAY! Let’s just point out that if you ask anyone who knows me, I am a Flash Historian! Barry Allen is my all time favorite Flash hands down. Then this newbie, Grant Gustin(you brilliant man) made an appearance on Arrow as Barry Allen and I lost my mind. Of course I didn’t know what to expect from Grant, but every Tuesday night I am Impressed again…and again…and again.
Now I have two nights in a row where life doesn’t exist outside of the four walls of my bedroom, where I stare attentively into my television screen.
The cast of both shows make them, in my opinion, THE BEST SHOWS ON TELEVISON!
Stephan…Grant…If by some chance you read this between your awesome and busy schedules…thank you for giving my inner child and my nerdy adult the super heroes that I grew up with. I know it isn’t just you guys who make Arrow and The Flash happen, so when you get a second…Just thank the entire crew.
From one Nerd to Two Others,
Anthony Ibrahim

REALIST"S REALIST: TOP 5 Video Games for Older PlayStation Consoles.
When I was growing up, I've always had a gaming console. Nintendo, Sega and PlayStation. Until this day I am an avid gamer and an ever more avid PlayStation fan. I've created a list for my top 5 PlayStation games for PS1 and PS2.
Fifth on the list is Onimusha on the PS2. What an amazing game, not only do you get to experience futal japan, but you get to destroy demons and use magic as well....WHAAAAAT?!
Fourth, Bloody Roar 2 for the PS1. A classic fighter game that let you transform from a human fighter into a devastation beast called a Xenomorph.
Third, Final Fantasy X(10). This was a video game originally for PS2 ( which was recently re-mastered for PS3) that held such a potent and emotional story line... wow... every time I play it, that's my reaction. Simply just WOW!
Second, Metal Gear Solid for the PS1! This espionage tactical shooter is one of the most influential games of all time. Mixing military facts within a paranormal story line made this game blow my mind. I think I played it over 20 times...I think it's time for the 21st play through.
First on my list needs to be Final Fantasy VII (7):
This game had everything. Amazing story line. Babes. Killing. Tactics. Babes. Magic. AN AMAZING ENDING and babes... wait did I say that..? This video game get to me on an emotional level because it was the first game I ever beat, to me that was a huge accomplishment. Especially if you remember having to switch out 4 discs in order to finish the game.
All these games have a huge part in my life and I absolutely love them!
LISTEN TO THE REAL-LIST for more insight's.
