Doing a listen of the new Wednesday 13 album and man…. he’s really lost his touch. I’m reticent to even speak poorly about it because he was so incredibly kind when we met him a few years ago, but this (and the last few albums) is just not good quality. The music is generally too slow/sludgy, the lyrics have no real substance/are too repetitive, and he recycles old lines multiple times. Such a bummer.
Update: Promising tracks were Rotting Away, Decapitated, Blood Storm, and Sick and Violent. 1/3 of the whole album.
