x.x okay but why, though?

I really don’t understand what’s going on anymore, or why I’m getting dragged into things I didn’t do? Yes, I made a mistake about who the call out was vs who blocked me, but I was told by a different user that they were the same person? How am I supposed to know? I mentioned the blocking because it’s what I was told. Me and FR already sorted it out in our comments, and I apologized to them for my confusion and thanked them for clarifying for me?

So why are people still saying mean things to me/about me/about this just because I wanted to make it known that I wasn’t a part of whatever they were talking about? Like..??? Okay you’ve never confused anyone in your life before?? I already spoke to them and apologized for the misconception that FR was not CR??

After a couple of days consideration, I’ve just decided that I cannot help what people think or feel.. But--- I tried to help people understand that it wasn’t the “act of being blocked” that I was upset about, it was the “blocking for something I didn’t actually do” thing that bothered me. If I was doing something shitty, I’d expect to be blocked. However, I wasn’t. I have been ill with covid pneumonia and macular edema issues on and off since October 2020, and had been on an overarching hiatus that was noted in and out of that discord. I was not online at the time things were ‘going down’, and came into the FR Threads like.. I dunno, a day after the stuff happened? I’m not sure the timing exactly. I had already stepped down as an admin a while back and have been a ‘mod on hiatus’ for that length of time before stepping down as a moderator fully. I had planned on stepping down for a while now, and was in the process of being removed as a mod in roles for the last week or two, actually. I am sorry that things happened the way they did, even though I won’t apologize for something I didn’t do. I don’t agree with the actions on either side, and have said as much elsewhere. (Mostly because, while there was shit talking and dragon purchasing with negative comments on one side, the other side did actual spite purchases with ill-named dragons, and exalting, on top of calling people liars about something that happened just because there were no screenshots. nobody was forcing anyone to buy anything, and all the actions everyone took were their own.)

That being said, I’m sorry people out there think that I am a “cliquey rich FR-whale”, as I am none of those things, and I’m sorry I come across that way? I have been playing this game for almost 7 years I think, and had saved all my items and whatnot in my vault to sell off to buy things I wanted, like dragons. I do not sell all of the offspring of my G3s, and I certainly don’t sell them for the prices they are at on the AH on their auto-buys. I hold giveaways all of the time in and out of the server. I had Free 1 Ticket Raffles for dragon prizes. I’ve offered offspring as raffle prizes in other raffles. I’ve given people the dragons as gifts to cheer them up. Dragons I had 5kg price tags on I traded to people for handfuls of gems, food points, or a familiar. Almost all of these things are documented in and out of the server, and there are a lot of witnesses to it.

Yes, I’ve purchased expensive dragons before. The most expensive one was 109kg. But I only paid 10kg in raw gems that I had gotten from selling things on the AH. The other part was made up in old 2013 year items (2 sprites). How is that any different than any other player that started earlier on and had items saved up? I don’t feel like I’m any more or less important than any other player out there. I tried to make my lore something that could be interacted with. I tried to help out my community when I could. I am nothing more than an anxious bean in the world of pixel dragons, trying to have fun like everyone else.

I hope that everyone finds peace in all of this some day, whatever happens in the future. I am sorry that a lot of people feel upset about the Naomi server and don’t like it there anymore or don’t “feel safe or comfortable” as that was never my intention at any point when Ravenkara and I made that server in 2019. Regardless of what happened along the way, I still love all of my community friends, and hope that some day, everyone can be okay again.

I’m not quite sure why you put me in this...? Because I posted 1 time on the bug forum to say that I was there when it happened (got a dragon back then), to try and help answer? I couldn’t find any screenshots on my desktop, so I didn’t post anything coz I didn’t have anything to post? And I mentioned that the post was old and had a different topic, so might not get answered, and said good luck? o.O Then I went to see if I could get a new dragon to go with my old dragon from the other owner?

I didn’t buy anyone else’s dragons, didn’t participate in any “spite buying” or whatever, didn’t even know any of this was happening because I was asleep, as I am ill? So I don’t really know why everyone is mad at me. x.x;;

About the “Glitch Progens” vs “Being Blocked”

I just want to say that .. I didn’t do anything. It isn’t that it is me being “offended that I was blocked” but rather.. I literally didn’t do anything. If someone wants to block me, that’s okay, but I just want to make people (especially the blocker?) aware that I was literally not a part of whatever they were upset about. I posted in the glitched support thread thing that I had been present, and saw it (because they seemed to be wanting confirmation?) with my own eyes, and was gifted the 5th hatchling (which I forgot it was a gift, because I couldn’t buy it at the time I don’t think? I forget, it’s been a bit). I forgot that the false progens got unglitched and were sold eventually, and so I went to the new owner’s lair and mentioned buying one from another nest coming up so I can have one from both lairs (for lore reason). I chatted briefly in the thread and then left? I’m not really sure what amounted to a reason for blocking but... I didn’t do anything? x.x; So I’m just very confused, and a little hurt I guess. Maybe it doesn’t mean much to other people, but basically getting blocked is accusing me of doing something I didn’t do (participate in spite purchasing, or whatever else is perceived as harassment? idk?) I didn’t do that. :’c So I hope that the user in question sees this maybe and understands that? Maybe I will never be unblocked, and that is their decision of course, but I just wanted to make it known? My anxiety would not let me rest until I said something. Even though nobody will probably even see this... but it’s not like I have a way to say anything to the other user? Oh well. :( have a good day.

H’s Glitched Progens

Long post ahead.

To start off, what are H’s Glitched Progens? H is a user in Fire, who currently owns two dragons who were allegedly affected by a glitch that caused them to show up as progens in another user’s (T from Ice) account. H now has a thread, selling lore hatchlings from this pair, marking up the price because they were potentially affected by a glitch.

Another user and I (F from Nature) were skeptical about the dragons actually being glitched, as there was no proof. They no longer highlighted as progens when searched for in the lair, and they had been traded to H from the original lair that had experienced the glitch. So, C from Shadow posted this post, on the sales thread, addressing their concerns.

This was the response, and my comment, which sparked the next series of events. Mutron is a developer of FR so I didn’t bother censoring his name.

Moving to the original bug thread, which is censored in the above image. I pinged Mutron, requesting for a follow up on whether or not the dragons in question had been affected by a glitch.

Very shortly after these posts, I got a message from a T from Wind. Linked in the post, were three hatchlings I had in my lair. They asked if I would be willing to sell them, but at the end of their post, they said this, which was strange, and suspicious.

I knew that this had to be related to my posts in the bug thread and on H’s sale thread, but I sold 3 dragons that were going to be fodder for a total of 30kt, so I didn’t care.

But then I started getting messages from more users, J from Ice, W from Shadow, C from Plague, M from Ice and what’s more, two of the dragons I had sold to T from Wind ended up in E from Fire and T from Shadow’s lairs. If this is hard to read, that’s a total of 7 users who had now bought or been sent my fodder hatchlings. I haven’t included the messages because they don’t say anything other than, “can I buy this dragon”.

Then, the bios started getting added, and I knew that they were spite purchasing these dragons from me. Here are some of the things that were written.

There are a couple more, but it’s mostly similar.

I then received a message from someone on Discord, who had been in the Naomi Discord for a couple of months, and they sent me screenshots of the majority of the discussion these people had in order to coordinate the spite buying. Here are the screenshots they provided. (If the person is just a colour, I don’t know who they are on Flight Rising)

These aren’t in any order because I’m not sure what order they go in.

I blocked everyone eventually, which resulted in these messages.

While it’s possible that these dragons were glitched at some point, they no longer are, it would be the same as selling offspring of a dragon with a skin glitch, or the ones that don’t show up because of missing gene glitches.

If these users wish to purchase these dragons, there isn’t anything wrong with that, but I personally feel that potential buyers should have some sort of proof that these dragons were glitched, and should be aware that they no longer are.

Despite this, the way these users behaved towards me is wrong and they should rightfully be called out for harassment because of it, no matter if the dragons are glitched or not.

The only reason I am actually responding to this was because you blocked me incorrectly. I was not a part of that discord discussion, nor had I said anything hateful to you anywhere. I did not participate in spite purchases, nor have I done anything other than be reminded why don’t say anything on the forums anymore like “this is a necro’d thread that might not get any attention because it’s old and off topic, but good luck” (paraphrased).

I really don’t understand. I had pinged back on that thread in my confusion, but I saw it was pointless because I was blocked for something I did not do. Oh well.

Edit: We resolved the problem, there was a misconception/error in regards to who blocked what when where, and it was a different user in the same incident. Thank you for resolving this information with me.

Peahen Painting Commissions by Artemis P. Fowl

Have you ever wanted a peahen to paint you a picture? Have I got some good news for you, then! Artemis here is opening limited-slot commissions for a painting made by her very own peet (peahen feet).

DETAILS

There will be 5 or 7 slots available- this is because I have 6 canvases left (5 white, 1 black) and I still want to do one for myself, but I am willing to go buy 2 more of the black canvases if people want.

Slots are limited to 1 per person, and will be first paid first served.

We are using Tempera paint, since it is non-toxic and washes off the bird completely. I will seal the paintings before mailing so they should be set.

All paintings will be done on 16x20 inch canvas (because that’s what I have). I’m willing to discuss other sizes, but you would then be responsible for the price of the new canvas in addition to the main price and shipping.

All paintings will be done by Artemis, who will be bathed and diapered before beginning so the painting will be clean.

Paint colors will mostly be mixed up as in the above examples, but we’re happy to take directions like “mainly purple with a little pink” or similar. We can include one (1) pure color (the first color down) for no extra charge.

Each painting will come “signed” with one of Artemis’ own feathers.

Each painting will come with a card on the back of it that is dated and numbered (#X of X), with an explanation of what it is.

Each painting will come with a digital photo of Artemis P. Fowl standing proudly beside her creation the day of its making (like the above examples).

We would be THRILLED to do paintings in the colors of pride flags.

PRICING

If you want to own original of your painting with no other copies in the world (aside from the photo of her standing beside it), it will be $75.

If you want the original of your painting, but allow me to make prints for others, the cost will be $50.

Shipping will cost whatever it will cost, and will vary by your location. I’m willing to ship anywhere it is legal to do so, as long as you’re willing to pay the price for it.

Special requests, such as more than one pure single color (as opposed to mixed colors like the above examples), may have an additional charge due to labor and stress and will be decided on a case-by-case basis.

Payment must be made before the painting begins, and is nonrefundable once the painting is done.
