“H-huh…?” he really didn’t want to go out. He stayed at home a lot because of his own issues with people. “Sure… we… we don’t have to go to a bar though.” he was trying to get sober recently.

“Oh! Um–” Totty didn’t want Choro feeling uncomfortable. Maybe they should stay home and do something. “Actually, forget that. I have a much, much better idea!” He flashed the other a smile, “We’ll stay inside and have a mini movie marathon. Does that sound better?”

“A-ah, that sounds nice...” he agreed, a small smile coming onto his face. He knew he was being unreasonable... but he wanted to get better for his brothers and for the people that had taken them in.

“…I… know you probably don’t want to, but… wanna go out? We could go to the bar…” Todomatsu suggested, rubbing his arm. “And I can pay for the both of us.”

“No, I like it out here… I just want to talk too.” he laughed, shrugging. “I don’t really know anything about stars.” astronomy made his head hurt, and he was always worried he’d get some creepy space vision, and he didn’t want that.

Ichimatsu knew a bit about astronomy, thanks to being cooped up in the castle most days and reading. He wasn’t going to talk about the stars, though. Not right now, at least. “Okay. Well, that’s okay.” He smiled again and gently grabbed one of Jyushi’s hands. “You know I love you… right?”

“Huh? Of course I know you do, Ichi-kun.” he smiled faintly, breathing in. “I love you too, a lot, like... more than anything else I’ve ever loved before.” that sounded wrong... “I mean, I just care a lot about you.” he hummed happily.

Jyushimatsu didn’t stargaze… ever, honestly. It felt like a waste of time. But Ichimatsu seemed so eager, so the male followed him up the hill and laid next to him. He watched the sky as Ichimatsu was, but honestly felt a tad bit of fatigue overwhelming him. “…this is pretty, Ichi.” conversation would help, even if it was light.

“Yeah, it is.” Ichimatsu murmured quietly before turning onto his side and facing his boyfriend. “We… could do something else though, if you want?” He didn’t want Jyushimatsu to be bored out here… what fun would that be? “We could go back inside the castle, or…”

Ichimatsu had taken Jyushimatsu stargazing, up on a hill not too far from the castle. It was a perfect night for it; not too cold or hot, just the right temperature and there was even a slight breeze. Currently the purple clad vampire was lying on the grass, peering up at the darkened sky with a small smile plastered on his face. He felt happy.

Jyushimatsu didn’t stargaze... ever, honestly. It felt like a waste of time. But Ichimatsu seemed so eager, so the male followed him up the hill and laid next to him. Osomatsu was standing just around the corner, leaning against the wall. Waiting for Jyushi to approach… and when the kid turned around the corner, he leaped out in front of him, fangs bared. 

“BOO!” 

He rumbled, though knowing Jyushi… this wouldn’t be very effective.

Jyushi was reading one of his comics, thumb in his mouth like usual. Osomatsu was right to think that such a small thing wouldn't scare the boy, in fact on the other hand...

Jyushi just walked right past him as though nothing had happened, still looking down at his comic. Nice try.

“Tell me, am I going crazy? Tell me, have I lost my mind? Am I just afraid of loving? Or am I not the loving kind?” Ichimatsu had his back turned to the demon, having no idea he was even there as he continued singing. “Kissing in the moonlight, movies on a late night, gettin’ old… I’ve–”

He turned around and flinched, seeing the other male. He cleared his throat, his face reddening. “H-how much of that did you hear?”

The church grim shyly listened to the angel. Usually people like him scared the demon, but something about this was actually kinda comforting. He blinked, ears flicking slightly to the side when he was asked how much he heard. He started to back up, as though frightened by the acknowledgement.

“...I heard enough.” he replied, quiet.

Choromatsu yelped, the angel’s face quickly heating up upon feeling the other’s fingers stroking him in a most inappropriate way. He bit his lip and huffed, grabbing hold of the demon’s wrist. “What… do you think you’re doing?”

Ichi giggled when his wrist was grabbed. His tails moved up to do the same thing, rubbing at the angels crotch teasingly. "I'm just trying to play, Mr. Angel~" he cooed, obviously having more fun than necessary.

Ichi obviously ignored him, and actually sped up when the elder gave chase to him, stumbling slightly.

“What do you know!?” Kara replied, wiping at his eyes hard, which just turned to him scratching at his cheeks pretty much. Jyushi and Choro had shut up but both were looking at the ground, sniffling.

Osomatsu quickened his pace, trying to catch up with Ichi. “Please, just calm down!”

Ichimatsu looked at Kara and raised an eyebrow before sighing heavily. “It’s really dangerous out there… especially for kids like you.”

Ichi tried to say something, but slipped and fell. He scrambled up and.... Climbed the tree next to him, glaring down at Osomatsu and shaking his head. "Go away!"

"We can take care of ourselves!" He huffed. "We got our shed! And I can find us food!" The eldest of the children replied, huffing.

“N-No!” Karamatsu snapped, shaking his head. “I-If hes gonna c-come back we gotta go back home! T-to where we were!” he didn’t wanna go back to that place, it was dark and gross and they didn’t have food, but what choice did he have? They had t–

“Y-you aren’t helping!” Ichi snapped before jolting up and bolting back out the door, vanishing from sight.

Osomatsu handed Todo over to Ichimatsu before immediately running after Ichi, “W-wait–! You can’t go back there–”

Ichimatsu frowned, staying with the other children. He stepped in front of the door so they wouldn’t leave and sighed heavily. “I… know this is hard, but you guys need to stay here…”

Honestly, the sudden appearance of Ichimatsu seemed to make things even worse, or at least it scared the children more, because they started crying even more than they had been.

“A-Aniki is gone!” Kara whimpered, shaking his head.

“H-he’s not gonna c-come baaack!” Ichi added in. “He wasn’t supposed t’leave us!” Choro snapped, glaring. The two youngest didn’t say anything amidst all the tears.

Osomatsu leaned over to his brother and whispered in his ear what happened. Ichimatsu sighed and glanced back down at the children. “Hey… hey! I… I-I’m sure your aniki will show up. Maybe he’s looking for you all right now… but… I think it’d be best for all of you to stay here with us until he shows back up…”

“Yeah. He’ll be back! He will…” Osomatsu added, hoping that Ichimatsu’s words calmed them.

Osomatsu just snickered. “What? Doesn’t your kind like blood?” and with that he made quick work of the next two fangs, laughing. Wow, what a dicksicle.

The children followed him wordlessly back to the house, but as soon as they got there Choro sat down on the ground and started wailing. It didn’t take long for Kara and Ichi to follow suit, and the noise got Todo crying as well. Jyushi looked between the others for a moment before he started squealing too.

Seems no one was happy here.

Holy shit–

Osomatsu grimaced, attempting to calm them all down. “Shhhhh, h-hey! Heyyyy, things are gonna be okay–” Suddenly, a vampire who looked like Osomatsu but dressed in purple appeared in the room, looking tired and stressed. 

“Osomatsu– what the hell’s going on?” Ichimatsu muttered, looking at the children before looking back at Osomatsu.

“Why should I? You didn’t give any second thoughts to hurting me.” the male replied, grabbing his chin and yanking it up before shoving the gag into his mouth, holding it open.

Jyushimatsu gasped and coughed, attempting to spit out the gag. He whimpered, still struggling against the restraints with all his strength.

Osomatsu rolled his eyes and continued to hold the other still as best as he could, taking the pliars and not really hesitating before ripping one of his fangs out, jerking hard.

“Not so stupid, huh?” Osomatsu sighed. “This will be easier if you just obey me.” he growled, moving over and pulling out what was essentially a device to keep his mouth open.

“P-please, don’t hurt me…” Jyushimatsu whispered quietly, his face as white as a sheet. He squirmed and thrashed against the restraints and whined.
