one day, i hope to be moved from your downloads folder into somewhere more deliberate
this is what i mean when i type 👀 btw
has anybody else noticed that the classic sci fi novel Don’t Create The Torment Nexus features a Torment Nexus? that’s pretty problematic of the author
the main character eventually recognizes the torment nexus is bad but by that point I had already stopped reading the book because I don't condone the torment nexus, the narrative really should've condemned it outright :/
if your without and you put nuts on it I don't make the rules snowflake
TRUCK
was made nuts that truck is trans if you got a problem take it up with god
I wasn't sure about letting this Hydromancer into the party at first, but it turns out her sword arm is unparalleled, and she only dabbled into Hydromancy so she could intentionally contain the enemy's blood after she rained countless slashes upon them like a meteor shower on the clear night sky for the express purpose of striking a pose, muttering "zan", and then releasing all of the blood on their wounds at once in a spectacle that the villager elder described "sick as fuck".
farcille isn't "toxic yuri." nothing remotely toxic about them, they both treat each other with a great deal of care and affection and respect. just because marcille is willing to do forbidden necromancy and arguably cannibalism for her wife doesn't make her toxic that's just what you do for a woman with broad shoulders
"don't assign human morality to non human things" is so true except when it comes to printers. they know what they are, they understand dilemmas and ethics and morality. they choose to be how they are, they choose to be evil, at their very core they are rotten
nothing pisses me off more than a proud “no msg!” label on something. shut up you dumb bitch put the msg back in there so it tastes good. idiot
Nothing more painful than when a kind stranger tells you about some random AI feature in a way that is clearly meant to be helpful and you have to choose between nodding along in despair or turning wokezilla 3000 on them
Jed portrayed the shapeshifting alien taking the form of a Norwegian dog in John Carpenter’s The Thing (1982). Jed was half-wolf, half Canadian malamute, and according to Carpenter, was an excellent animal actor—after becoming familiar with the cast and crew, he would not look at the camera, crew, or dolly during scenes. Jed’s quiet manner perfectly reflected the alien’s unsettling nature. Jed would go on to act in a few other movies, and lived on his trainer Clint Rowe’s animal sanctuary until his death at age eighteen—quite old for a dog of his breed.
literally where is his oscar
hey boss i can't come in today it's a sunny day and there's a lovely breeze coming in through my window, yeah it's rustling the branches of the tree outside that's finally bloomed so it's pretty serious
my biggest word of advice to anyone scared to post their work/ocs/involve themselves in creative spaces online is to earnestly get interested in other people. be kind to others, like/reblog their work, tell them what you like about their work, get to know them as people.
this isn’t to “weasel” your way into anything or having ulterior motives or whatever. if you become friends with someone then that’s great! but there’s always something very personal about posting any kind of creative work. we’re all trying our best to connect with each other and the best way to get comfortable is to get to know others and show up as yourself. 🫶🏾
I love how Olruggio was just chilling with them in the living room taking a nap
Like he has a whole separate wing in the atelier, multiple napping spots for comfort in that wing as well. More privacy, more peace, more quiet.
But no, he wanted to be close to them and nap on the couch as they all went about their work
