Memories from the heart of the Aids crisis shows true love in a time of terrible tragedy.

These heartbreaking and incredibly moving images show the affection and love shown during the height of the Aids crisis. Photographer Gideon Mendel’s project The Ward began in 1993 when he spent a number of weeks on the Charles Bell wards in London’s Middlesex Hospital. All the patients on the ward were dying with the knowledge that there was no cure for the disease. During this time antiretroviral medications were not available and patients on the ward faced the prospect of an early death.

This may come across as morally wrong, but hear me out. I was watching the news this morning and saw a news report about a woman was using her kids to shoplift. She got caught at an expensive jewelry store but had been doing it for years - she’d tell her ten year old daughter she was “allowed” to grab things from the store as long as she stuffed it in her dora the explorer backpack. Soon the woman took her kids every weekend to department stores and told them what to grab and shove in their backpacks. Eventually the woman got a bit greedy and started going into high end jewelry stores as well, and she’d simply distract the person behind the counter and let her kids swipe expensive diamonds. The woman simply asserted, “the few times anyone caught my kids doing it I’d simply put on the concerned mom face and apologize profusely. Kids can’t be held legally responsible”. Moral of the story: using kids for shoplifting will eventually get you caught if you get greedy. If you are on the verge of homelessness and you have NO other way of making ends meet, use a kid. Tell them it’s a special day, call it “free item day” and tell your child shove whatever crap they want in their bag! LP won’t notice..and even if they do, you won’t be in trouble.

In fact, due to the feminist deluth method, men who don’t even fight back and call the police instead are still more likely to be arrested than the female assaulter, so yes, when you bring up a movement that claims to support gender equality, you better bet gender equality for men will come up

3. The gendered gap in wages is an earning gap, not a wage gap. It is made by personal choice. And while you are at it, please Google the Equal Pay Act of 1963. It makes it illegal to pay someone differently strictly due to gender.

4. So one side of what men want, equality when they are victims of abuse, does not protect them. No abuse shelters, no government funded studies, and very little to no support from the law as abuse victims kind of trumps you complaining about your own failure to critically assess statistics and laws presented to you.
