Hello! I’m Ant 🐜 or Antler 🦌. Early 20s, queer, he/him but I don’t really care. I’m a (amateur) digital artist who draws mostly fantasy content & goblins— lately it’s been a lot of Baldur’s Gate 3 fanart so that’s what you’re primarily gonna get lol.

Warning! I am a weird freak! I love being a weird freak! I’m also a yapper! I always try to properly tag stuff but if I mess up don’t hesitate to lmk!

“Can I use your ‘protect your herd’ or ‘bash back’ art for X reason?”

Yes! I consider that art open-source/public domain. Credit is appreciated but not necessary. Repost it, make it a sticker or print, make it a shirt, do whatever you want! I believe very strongly in the idea of public art/art for the people. I use the tag #open source for all my art that’s free for use! I also enable high-res downloads for these on my Ko-Fi if versions off social media download shitty/blurry— again completely free, if it doesn’t work lmk!

“Do you do commissions?”

Not currently, unfortunately!! I’ve never offered commissions before & I would like to get my art more consistent in terms of quality before I try. If I do open commissions, I’ll probably start with some YCHs to get the hang of things before jumping straight into customs. Thank you to the people who reached out, though!! I’m flattered!!

“What program/brushes do you use?”

I use Procreate on an iPad with an Apple Pencil! In terms of brushes, I actually like to make my own. I’m working on getting all the brushes I make up on my Ko-Fi as free digital downloads currently! (Every brush set I make will always be free/pay what you want— I wouldn’t have started making art if it wasn’t for free resources!)

“Who is that goblin?”

I have several but the main one (the one currently as my PFP) is Nuzh, my Baldur’s Gate Tav. He’s a goblin rogue (/artificer but that’s not an option in game lol), an ex-cultist of the Absolute, and romancing Wyll. His name is pronounced like “Nooj”. I’m working on a larger info/lore card about him that I’ll link here soon! His tags: #oc: nuzh #tav: nuzh and #nuzh lore

Definitely not me as I don’t have an Etsy, but I don’t mind them using it! I made that art public domain so anyone can use it (even technically for commercial purposes), & as a side note from looking at that shop it seems like they use sales to fund mutual aid outreach, which I am in full support of! If anything since I don’t make merch myself I would encourage folks who want a sticker to buy from someplace that uses the money from sales for good reasons. Not an Official™️ endorsement of this store specifically since I don’t know them/am not associated with them, but ya know mutual aid is cool.

In short: no not me, but the art is public domain so as the artist I don’t consider it stealing & wouldn’t be mad about folks purchasing from there, as far as I could tell they seem cool!

Not really an ask, but a thank you, for making your art public domain. I'm going to make stickers to give out at my barn's upcoming Pride rodeo, an event for all kids that benefits queer youth. I take my job as flock protector seriously (I'm cis, fuck with my trans kiddos at your peril).

For me/imo, I think that any art that’s shared publicly at least partially belongs to the public. I wanna take that a step further and make art explicitly *for* public use that I don’t have ownership over. Partially cause I think copyright is largely bullshit, partially cause I think art should belong to everybody, partially cause it’s one of the few things I can do politically as someone who’s physically disabled/chronically ill.

Anyway! That’s a tangent lol but I believe in making open source art & wanna do it more!

Also consider this: I am Some Guy who likes to make bad drawings of goblins getting their backs blown out. However, 30 US states either have bans on or are attempting to ban abortion. Regardless of your hurt feelings about the scary transes, objectively I am not the biggest threat. If you actually care about women more than you hate trans people, maybe spend some of that energy fighting something harmful instead of one weird freak online?

Yes absolutely!! Stickers, shirts, patches, I’ve seen some people talking about zines lol— all completely fine!! I would love to see people’s creations too— my DMs are usually open & failing that there’s the ask box + @ -ing me. (Of course only share if you’re comfortable, no pressure!)

Also this is a side note but fwiw, I wouldn’t mind folks trading stuff or using self-made merch to fundraise. When I say open-source I mean it lol, I made the art but I don’t have or want ownership of it if that makes sense— think of it as public domain art!

Hello! Thank you so much!!! I don't-- don't currently have a way to make merch & have quality/ethics concerns about places like redbubble, BUT I highly encourage anyone who wants to to make stickers themselves! The art is "open-source"-- I don't want to make a profit off of it, and I want people to feel free to use it with no restrictions.

I have high-quality downloads available in my gallery on my Ko-Fi as well, if versions off social media are downloading blurry/shitty. Again completely free-- just click on the post and it should have a high-res download option! If it doesn't work lmk and I'll try to fix it :]
