Stone + 3 blocks of Luck = Diamond. Sometimes.
In Fakutori, recipes that use Luck have a high chance to produce a byproduct, in this case Dust. But with careful automation, you will get your diamonds... eventually.

Quick automation in Fakutori: making Obsidian by cooling Lava.
I know gamedevs who use artistic direction, and they're all cowards.
I finally implemented the blueprint system in Fakutori! It allows you to save and reuse parts of your factory, which I think will be tremendously useful.
Blueprints are saved as individual files, so they can easily be shared with others!
I've added an option in Fakutori's compendium to display blocks using their symbols! It should be useful when attempting to decypher the prophecies, or if you want to play the game the way I envisioned it: by memorizing more than 100 different symbols.
My game Rhell is OUT NOW
🧙🪄
My game Rhell, is a creativity based puzzle game where you can use 100,000,000 spells and solve puzzles in your own unique way
It's all about having fun and being creative so every puzzle has multiple possible solutions
Another shader I made for Cantor Metz. I implemented the Gerstner wave algorithm for modeling semi-realistic waves in real time. I might reuse this for another project...

This is my favorite block in Fakutori! I just love how it looks and its colors (which were kind of an accident).
I won't say what element it is, just that it is a mythological substance. :)
"Echec & Masque" a game we made this weekend with a bunch of friends for the Global Game Jam.
I had a lot of fun and I'm very proud of what we made! It's a tactical puzzle game using chess pieces, quite fun to play. I wanted to try doing pixel art, and that black and white style with dithering was a blast to use.
As a bonus (and because I couldn't make a game without a least one custom shader), you can change the palette!

This was my favorite bit of environment art I made for Cantor Metz. Crazy what you can achieve with a shader and a few particle systems...
My checklist for the production of this game was as follows: 1) Implement the vibes 2) ??? 3) ?????
Sometimes I look at stuff from my old game project "Cantor Metz" and wonder why I canceled it. Then I remember how long it took to make so little...
I learned a lot about 3D and I'm still proud of that environment work, but yeah, making a semi-realistic 3D game on my own was a bad idea.
Not long after the Nyx drawing I attempted another one in the same style to celebrate FFXIV's new (at the time) Reaper job. Never finished it sadly, I didn't like where it was going.
This is the sketch, I was supposed to add the avatar behind the character.
(RPR remains one of my favorite DPS job, then again I'm a big sucker for fantasy scythes)
Old drawing (2020 I believe) of Nyx from Hades. I'm still proud of this one!
