This is probably the most interesting thing I've learnt all week

shoutout to all the kids who

- grew up smart and lost it when they got to high school and dont know what happened

- are so bright but just cant focus academically

- are told their effort isnt good enough when in reality they just dont understand

- are too shy to ask for help and go without it and therefore dont reach the potential they know they have

- are brilliant in class but underperform in exams

- have to pretend that they dont care about their grades because they constantly underperform and dont want to look stupid

Sorry to everyone for being so inactive, I have loads of photos built up on mut PC but I've ended up fighting of viruses and trying to deal with them, I think I've finally got the last of the bunch so look forwards to loads more diving photos, I've been night diving and cave diving so look forwards to all sorts of weird and wonderful aquatic views and life!

Are these able to be pets without causing any harm to them or their environment???

Unfortunately, no. They require very specific conditions that are impossible to replicate in captivity. They’re too sensitive.

Red cuttle hunting - Sepia mestus #marineexplorer by John Turnbull Via Flickr: Cuttlefish have a pair of tentacles which are normally hidden away, which they use for hunting. They are specialised for snaring prey; long thin arms with suckers just at the end, which the animal shoots out with lightning speed. You can see them in this shot. Bare Island

Ummmm….don’t touch it. As far as I know you’re not supposed to touch wild turtles

All Sea Turtles found in U.S. waters are protected under the Endangered Species Act. Violating the ESA (which includes simply touching the animal) is really not fun when you consider the penalties.

“Stiff penalties may be imposed for violations of the Endangered Species Act. Criminal activities may be punished with fines up to $50,000 and/orone year imprisonment for crimes involving endangered species, and$25,000 and/or six months imprisonment for crimes involving threatened species. Misdemeanors or civil penalties are punishable by fines up to $25,000 for crimes involving endangered species and $12,000 for crimes involving threatened species.  A maximum of $1,000 can be assessed for unintentional violations.” (x | x)

So yeah…don’t touch wild animals.
