How incredibly beautiful is this? If only institutions in ZA would take the same approach to beautifying and enhancing transit spaces. We can but dream.

My attempt at decorating a cupcake. It started out with wild sculptural ambition and ended with me trying to pry 12 metric tons of fondant from my fingers. This was actually my only marginally successful attempt. Still pleased with it though.

Ask me again why I like apple products. Had this little piece of wonderment and joy since about '03. Also put an iPod shuffle through a wash cycle and it too keeps going. In this age of instant gratification and fast turn around electronics, I'd rather go with what I know. It may not always be up to date, but it sure as hell beats staring at new and badly made.
