Had a weird idea after seeing a few Shattered Tear themed images about for October. The reason our fav ghost wanted to be a Sans so much, was that he was Originally a Sans. Only there soul survived a Genocidal run throwing him into the void, leading to reforming as Blooky.

No memories but yearning, he doesn't remember his original Sans faces. But he ends up in the right AU when he flees Error. So pretty much his broken self found his way home but Broken, not realizing eh actually was the Real local Sans.

That is both sad and a really cool damn concept. I'm inhaling it. Wow, I love that spin on the story. Loving that they did a whole circle back to where they should be, but returned different. They aren't aware of it all either and just feel like they are replacing someone who is in the end THEIR OWN SELF. Oh my gosh, huge yes. This is so peak.
