You continue leading the way as you and your partner-in-knowledge descend down the obfuscous hallway, meeting a small set of stairs before making your way to the main living area. The room was mainly outlined by the gigantic aquarium, lit up from the bottom of the tank and filled to the prim with prismatic water that reflected small rainbows on the walls around you.
While the room was lit fairly well, it would certainly help if the rest of your hive were illuminated to the same standard. You make your way behind your tank, flipping the control box open and setting all of the positions to on - you didn’t want to waste any energy in case you needed to come back here after you had decided to move in with Sidart in his ship.
You come back from behind the glass case and adjust your glasses. “That should take care of the lights elsewhere in the hive, I suppose.” You confirm this by looking over her shoulder back in the main foyer, which was now brilliantly lit in a light yellow that stretched over the surface. “Are you ready to proceed on? Perhaps I can answer any plausible questions.”
You continued to stare at your surroundings as you traversed the hive to your destination. When you especially marveled at the glittering beauty of the aquarium as you made it so the main room. You had never seen such a marvelous spectacle before. You were attracted to standing next to it and staring while Velles fiddled with something. The room lit up as your attention diverted from the aquarium to the oncoming illumination the became evident from the now-lit foyer. Velles then grabbed your attention by speaking, in which his words you made sure to pay close attention to as much as possible.
"Oh! Yes, I am ready." You felt bit like an excited bubblehead as you continued to be amused by the whole room itself. You decided it was a good idea to get back on subject. "Ah yes! What reading selections do you have in mind?" You began. "Also, were we reading together, or independently in the same room?" Asking both questions made you feel stupid.
