So I happened upon this hoya rotundiflora. I’m scared to get too attached because I just have the feeling that this is going to be one for the plant graveyard. Fingers crossed

It’s crazy how even when I’m super busy I find a few minutes a day to take care of my plants.Yet when I’m depressed it takes me a few weeks to notice I’m neglecting them and it’s usually the first sign that things are getting bad again.

I feel this struggle. I'm not sure if it is depression for me but sometimes the plant care just feels like it requires an abundance of energy that I don't have. I find that even just watering a plant sometimes is too much; next thing I know it, it's been two weeks and the plant is looking tragic :(

Weirdly enough seeing the plants struggle forces me to look after them, and in turn it helps me feel like I get some of my energy back

Yes this is exactly how I feel! Some days just remembering to turn the grow lights on/ off drains me and uses my last spoon, but other days I can spend hours caring for them and it refills my energy source.

Is this a string of hearts silver glory or do I just want one so bad that I’m forcing it??

Anybody know if this Brussel sprout will actually grow into a new stalk? So far it’s rooting better than I can imagine.

Well I was already forced to propagate my new begonia after the picture in the back fell on it.

Of course it was the two big stems

Well my non plant friend is moving so time to try and save her plants. Guess I got some new babies.

$2 at a roadside stand! It was an older lady selling cuttings from her mother plants. There was a string of hearts too but when I pointed it out to her she never knew what it was called and it was the only one she didn’t have a mother plant to. She was so happy I knew the names of all the plants she was selling that she allowed me to come inside and see her collection. She had the fullest string of hooks I e ever seen in a 12 inch pot and her mother plants were huge and well cared for. It was such an honor to see her collection and get to talk to her.

So when this leaf on my prop was growing in I thought it was going to have really awesome fenestrations, but I think it got confused.

There are lady bugs all over the halls in my apartment building. I’m very tempted to start catching them and putting them in my plant room.

I heard knocking on what I thought was my neighbor’s door, but no it was my landlord and three people at my door and of course my bedroom door was open and I was still in bed naked so they got to see some free titties🥵🥵

Sometimes I get frustrated that some of my plants aren’t showing as much growth as I want until I remember they have moved about 8 time with me in the last 2-3years.
