Krystle.... an interesting choice. The local for me in third year college!! Krystle is where you will find the majority of South Dublin 20 year olds on a Saturday night. Known for its famous “Playtime” area you are bound to see the likes of Rob Lipsett and Sian Walton sipping on a G&T! When you’re young wild and free Krystle is the place to be!!

A taste of Mexico right on Baggot Street Dublin! If you want to wear a sombrero while you dance the night away in this underground club head straight to Xico! Xico is a small yet quaint place with a lot of Mexican culture including the decor, food and drink! Most of south Dublin head here on the regular for a bop on tables and couches. They hold regular events from hosting the now famous “Greg O’Shea” to “The Riff Shop” taking over for the night, head here on weekend and you wont be sorry!

The Eden
Looks like a house right?
Famously known (in Ballinteer) for its cheap food and drinks,the Eden is up there with one of the nicest carvery`s in Dublin and a decent pint too. With music every Friday night along with a few middle aged aul fellas, the Eden is definitely the best local! Christmas Eve drinks alongside the Nest you`re bound to find yourself a St.Johns GAA player here!
The Globe
ahh the Globe, full of South Dublin`s Finest every Saturday Night you are guaranteed to see a crowd in here. Whether it`s for a boogey on the dance floor or a catch up with friends the Globe is a pretty alright place to go if you don`t mind pushing and shooving past a crowd of Dundrum heads on a Saturday Night! No food served and all about Drinks seems like an ideal place to go!

Flannery’s Dublin
Let’s be honest here the main reason people go to Flannery’s is because its FREE in, other than that its known for an okayish nightout. Everyone says they wont be back but Saturday night comes around and you find yourself back in Flannery’s, chatting sh*t, having a bop on the sweaty dance floor or attempting to flirt out in the smoking area. Plenty of D4s and GAA heads found here. If you’re looking for a crappy G&T, a not so good pint and maybe an okay baby Guinness head here.
The Eagle
Ah the Eagle, often referred as the Nest. What a s*** hole. The inferior is horrible and is always seems to be left dirty. You’ll either see locals from the nearby estates, who will later stay the night in the Garda station up the road. Or hipster, past Wesley college pupils. What a mix of personalities. Now saying this, its environment is actually quite good. But pints are average and so is the food. The only time it is busy is on Xmas eve were a bunch of Wesley Alumni come for there Xmas pints.

Sophie’s Rooftop Bar
Sophie’s rooftop bar infamously renowned for the swing as you come out of the elevator which every “influencer” posts. But does it live up to the standards perceived?
Sophie’s is a beautiful and modern glasshouse restaurant, boasting stunning 360 degree views of Dublin, from cityscape to countryside, it has an outlook like no other.
It’d certainly be an ideal location for a special someone, but if you’re still looking for that individual it may not be the place for you.

Lets be real, people only go here for one reason and that’s to get some. Unfortunately if you’re reading this then you are not getting some. Your home alone, really kicking yourself you spent another tenner into coppers without hitting a home run. You say itll be the last time. But next Saturday you’ll be right back, chatting pony and singing to Robbie Williams. Jesus what ever you do, dont order a Guinness. Great atmosphere though all the same.

Ah my local. The definition of an Irish pub. Highly recommend bringing any tourists here. During the week they even do Irish dancing. Im a firm believer that the red haired bartender serves the best Guinness in the land. Great deals during from Tuesday-Thursday - a meal and a pint for a tenner. Also a huge huge fan of the Taylors burger. Average though to go and watch the football on the weekend. Not a lot of screens.
