about me
I have suffered from depression almost my whole life. I have learned to manage it better, to accept it. I am still learning. I noticed looking at stuff like this helps.

I don't need to be good looking to go to the gym, I just need to do what's good for me and my body
[ID–
Artwork depicting a cute, anthropomorphic gray-and-white striped kitty, rendered in thick brushstrokes (like oil or acrylic paints applied with a palette knife, so that the surface looks textured).
The kitty is pictured standing upright on its two hind legs, and is dressed in a thick sweatpants-and-sweater combo with matching legwarmers. On its head are large headphones, decorated with little ribbons. Over its right shoulder is a sling holding up a rolled-up yoga mat. In its left paw is a cold drink (possibly lemonade from the color) in a covered cup, with a straw sticking out the top. On the floor next to the kitty is a matching tote bag. In the background we see a gym setting with related accoutrements – various mats, a kettlebell, dumbells, a dumbell rack, and what looks like timber dance/yoga studio flooring.
The text overlaid on the image reads:
omw to the gym [... which is an abbreviation for "on my way to the gym"]
The majority of the items depicted in the artwork (clothing, accessories and gym equipment) are rendered in gentle pastels (pink, lavender and lilac), and this color scheme imbues the visuals with a softer, more relaxed aesthetic.
Given the cuteness of the kitty, the overall image contrasts greatly with the stereotypical image of hard-punching, hyper-macho workout spaces (in my mind: bodybuilder bros by the dozen, heavy weights and barbells, harsh sounds of impact, sweaty smells and loud grunting).

I may feel fragile, but I am resilient and I can protect myself. I am strong and sensitive.
I needed to see this :) time to spread it to others who may need it too!
If you have achieved something, please remember to observe a mandatory period of basking in the warm glow of your achievement like a lizard on a stone, lest you teach your brain that effort is futile, actually, because it didn't get to enjoy its happy chemicals, so, naturally, nothing good ever comes of trying. (And no, avoiding punishment is not a reward!)
I recommend, like, 5% of basking time in relation to whatever time you invested into achieving the thing minimum. And if you can't make your own bask, friend-brought is fine (= tell your friends!).
