Keep doing your best. Bit by bit, your efforts will pay off - I promise! Put your head down and just focus. But don’t forget to look up and around to appreciate the little things in life every now and then!
Never think of your actions as insignificant.
Dutifully attending your classes, submitting assignments, completing your weekly readings - significant!
Going to work everyday - whether it’s helping take orders, cooking delicious food for people to enjoy, working on a new design which is unique, helping consult people with their problems - significant!
Taking shorter showers, recycling when you can, purchasing ethically made products in order to make earth a better place to live - significant!
Being there for your friends, hanging out with them, trying new things together - significant!
So the next time you’re doubting yourself - let me tell you.....
You’re not just a speck of dust - small and meaningless.
You’re a celestial being - a network consisting of an unique combination of elements and magic. Here to make a positive difference to this planet we call home.
And there’s no one else like you.
You can do this. Yes you can!

As the year is drawing to an end - remember all the accomplishments you have made and the moments when you thought you could not make it but did. You are amazing and I could not have been more proud of you. There is no doubt that you will continue to blossom and grow the next year.

If you are starting to feel burnt-out, do not be afraid to cut some commitments out, you may argue that if you do - that means you are not productive but in truth the other commitments will really benefit from your improved focus which you have gained. As the saying goes “quality over quantity”, by doing this you are improving the quality of your work and you will get more satisfaction when you reap what you sow.
Don’t be so hard on yourself .....you are doing great.... so just keep looking forward....work hard and everything else will fall in place.
Don’t doubt yourself. I believe in you. You can do this. You got this.
Your “best” won’t always be the same every day, quite like the temperatures of a weather forecast for the week, for example, it fluctuates. So please don’t beat yourself up if you were not able to do what you wanted to do for the day. You did what you could. So give yourself a pat on the back. I am proud of you. Tomorrow will be a better day and there definitely will be better days ahead for you.

Life isn’t always going to be perfect. It’s important not to let the mild inconveniences ruin your day. Remember, everything is just a temporary moment in time.
Pick your battles, because not every one of them needs to be fought. Roll with the punches, rather than meeting them. Keep looking forward. Take a breath. Everything will be ok if you allow it to be ok.
At the end of the day, put away your electronic device and look up towards the night sky. Regardless of how good or bad your day has been, the stars are always there for you, twinkling bright, their light a beautiful contrast to the night sky. Like the stars, you do shine bright everyday even when things don’t go your way - you may not see it, but your light shines bright within you, showing your potential. So I am telling you - don’t give up, you are meant to shine like a star, you are here to make a difference.
Let us talk about breaks!
Breaks are defined as a “pause during an activity or work”.
They can vary in length ranging from half an hour, two weeks to even a year.
There is no right or wrong length of the period which perfectly describes a break.
Breaks depend on the context of our situation - whether it is just a 10-minute tea break from studying, a two week holiday because you have worked hard this year or a year break because you have other duties to attend to first, so you want to pay attention to them but will return so you could devote undivided attention to the task at hand.
Some people may say that taking breaks means you’re lazy, but let me tell you this..... It is alright to take breaks, you’re not a robot.
Breaks are fundamental for us to recharge, pursue other interests and gain new perspectives. Ultimately, they are one of the tools which will help you enhance your performance.
Everyone takes breaks, the way which people may do it may be different from yours. But rest assured no one can go 100% all of the time.
You can do this! Please do not lose faith!
Don’t be afraid to accept help. Nobody can go through life alone. Not every favor needs to be repayed. When someone reaches their hand out to you, it’s okay to take it.
