Keebo would make a great action/shooting game protaganist.....
I want a spin off game about him in limbo as a ghost going through and destroying everyones fake memories to reveal the real ones so we can get to know these characters better
Concept that the residents of 'The Beach' are all vampires in a cult under Hatters reign, they've lived through decades and eras, and whenever Hatter feels motivated he throws a 'coronation' party to turn a few more.
💕 Leading to Chishiya 'offering' his blood out his charitable little heart 💕
Under the readmore find my rambles and some over versions 🙏
Rambles in this AU:
Hatter is the head vampire and Aguni was his first turned
They've been vampires for centuries and eventually the concept of their endless existence drove Hatter mad
Their relationship soured and Aguni demanded his own brood - Hatter is still the only one who turns them (note: I'm undecided whether he keeps the process a secret or something else), but this leads to Niragi becoming a vampire
A few decades later Chishiya is converted by Hatter's selection
They're tanked by the order they're turned
There is only one way to kill a vampire (lmao I haven't thought about this) and it's a taboo under Hatter's law however over time some vampires are thinned which raises Chishiya through the rank - whether he was involved in some of them who knows
Niragi and Chishiya tease, chase, follow each other across decades and sea, in some years they avoid each other but still constantly have a connection
Because they can't die (unless under specific means...) Chishiya gets to light Niragi on fire only for him to be healed a year later and Niragi gets to shoot Chishiya as much as he wants knowing he will come back time and time again
And that's all I got 🤲🙇♀️ I hope this gives you vampire Nirashiya thoughts into 2026 🦇
While they both feed on humans, the only vampire's blood they feed on is each other - Vampire blood being not as fresh as humans
In this party it's a requirement to share your blood (because I said so) hence their necks being bloody, cut to fill a cup - they may have also been snacking on some humans as hors d'oeuvres before meeting (also because I said so)
A drabble to go with my rambling:
"Coronation day.
Resurrection day.
The Hatter’s Easter Sunday.
It went by many titles.
A night dressed up to fit the era, sometimes annual, sometimes not – Something that looked like a sweet red apple while rotten at it's core.
A night of corruption and sin, a reminder of just where they all came from and whose blood ran through their veins. The majority relished in it, exhausted every sin and collapsed in faux euphoria afterwards, while the wiser minority indulged in caution.
Tonight’s offerings fell in an age where humans could communicate instantly across continents, false idols weren’t shunned but paraded in every form of media one could acquire, and where a beach resort and red cups were a fitting environment for a madman’s party.
For a vampire like Chishiya, events like this were an opportunity to assess numbers, count new heads and note missing faces. This was an occasion to be attended by invite only, one paid by blood and servitude - Fresh faces were expected, they would be turned or fed on tonight depending on the host’s mood. Whereas absent names meant dead or death. So, it was chance to take stock, watch baby fawns wobble on their legs and cross others off the ‘family’ tree.
For a vampire like Niragi, it was an opportunity to establish dominance, ensure his name stayed written in blood across his peer’s minds and cash in on the fear already instilled in the weaker of his kind. He was a figurehead, someone with tenure, a convert from the first few batches who had earned and stayed within the first integers of the ranks.
All of them had been turned by Hatter, all of them shared his blood. However some had the privilege of turning first, of being offered salvation in the form of extended fangs and eyes which glowed red under moonlight. The ceremony was trivial, less of formality than the decision of who to bring into the brood next. A decision only two people made – Hatter, and Aguni.
Hatter had his devotees but of them all there was always his first, his partner, his first bite – Aguni. Passionate, adoration and desires as the base and deep-rooted loyalty as the body, they shared centuries together, something only gods got to experience. Though, that was the problem. A vampire isn’t a god. It’s the farthest thing from it to all with sanity still with them, something Aguni clung to and Hatter abandoned. When Hatter demanded religion Aguni demanded his own disciples, which led to Niragi.
Niragi was chosen by Aguni, converted by Hatter. Someone the world discarded, that rejected himself and reinvented time and time again. To all concerned Niragi was the perfect vampire, a creature created to be despised who relished in the violence that came with survival. Where he walked, carcasses littered the ground.
Chishiya was chosen by Hatter, converted by Hatter. Someone who saw humanity as a question mark, that considered life as a puzzle in newspaper. Challenging but ultimately something that could be discarded till another time, especially for someone with all the time in the world. A spectre observing as life moved around him.
Where Niragi stormed through existence, Chishiya shifted in and out of frame. Yet they navigated together, conflict sparking over and over, a magnetic pull following them from city to city, continent to continent. There were years they wouldn’t see each other, then others where they would 'be' together, dependent on Niragi’s emotions and Chishiya’s apathy. Years they would leave each other for a death that wouldn’t come, years where they left each other gasping for breath feeling more alive than when life was the ultimate motivator.
There was one way to kill a vampire, something that was known to a selective few. Niragi beat it out of a someone, tested the theory and then got scalded for it. Chishiya found it out through conversation, a slip of the tongue carefully orchestred.
It was known to them both and while Hatter had his rules and punishments, something they both valued very little, it was line never crossed between each other. They were off limits. The unspoken agreement. Curiosity of the kill never outweighing the dependency between them.
So every ‘coronation’ they gravitated together, never arriving together but seeking each other out, even if they were together that morning.
And on tonight, with plastic cups filled of blood, Chishiya extended his to Niragi as he found him in the crowd.
