what they say: it’s so sad,,,, that i am no longer excited about dw like i used to be,,,,,,,like it’s so sad that this one guy who i wholly believe to be in charge of every detail on this show worked on by literally hundreds of individual human beings has ruined my life and me by single-handedly making my fave show so bad i can’t be excited about it anymore like it’s so sad,,,,,and no one else likes it anymore and no one gets excited about it bc no one cares
what they mean: i have not yet thought to consider the following possible explanations for why i’m no longer into dw; 1) that i suffer from a supreme sense of nostalgia, 2) that there’s a massive mob mentality against DW on tumblr mostly driven by said nostalgia and people misusing social rhetoric to shittalk a show they either haven’t seen or haven’t watched with an open mind but instead go into deliberating looking for mistakes and choose to interpret as Satan’s Handiwork(TM), 3) i’m an embittered adult who has grown out of the show and if i’ve actually watched the slitheen episode any time in recent years it only held onto its charm by the death grip of nostalgia
