gentle reminder
every little step forward you take is so amazing and i am so proud of you for being able to take them
I was always the ‘sensitive one.’ Too often deemed ‘too’ much, ‘mushy’ through and through. The emo black sheep…what are you bleating on about now? asked in unmasked exasperation. So I tried to fit in and not be a bother. To shut up any emotions other than dampened joy and let anything else out only when alone. I was a human bottle, hoping someone would come along and see the SOS message inside. Eventually, being constantly under pressure, the bottle exploded. Not just one time. But I kept becoming a new bottle, because God forbid anyone found out I feel most everything deeply. Though I knew my family loved me, they couldn’t understand my inherent need to talk through my feelings. I was taught somewhere along the way that keeping it to myself was best. I’ve since discovered the fatal flaw in that lesson.
It’s a lesson I have to unlearn every day (via autumnsunshine10)
why do i love travelling? because when you travel, you are no longer you, you are a multitude of yous. you can be whoever you want to be because everyone is a stranger. you can live someone else’s life, set a new routine, be far away from your thoughts. you are always under the same sky but it feels like you live in a different universe.

I love being alone in my room, I love not having to be a person
do you ever get so annoyed at everything that you start to get pissed off at even little things like a spoon clinking against a bowl or sounds of people talking
I think it’s called sensory overload. It’s really common in people with anxiety
it can also be a result of sleep deprivation, stress, or ever dehydration !!
thanks i thought i was just a bitch
Dear Life, I am slowly falling in love with you again.

Sometimes you tell someone to never call you again and then the phone rings and you hope it’s them. It’s the most twisted logic of all time.

No offense but if one of your friends is excited about something & you make them feel stupid 4 being excited about it, you’re the worst type of person.
Many people have come and left, and it has been always good because they emptied some space for better people. It is a strange experience, that those who have left me have always left places for a better quality of people.

Your brain is so much more powerful than you can imagine. Your brain can convince you that you are unloved. Your brain can convince you that you are not worth fighting for. Please never lose sight of the greatness that lies in your existence.
This may sound cynical but we have to learn to disassociate people from the things we do with them. It’s really easy to confuse loving someone and loving the lifestyle we have with them. It’s also really easy to think we miss someone when really we just miss the things we used to do with them. It seems special and unique to that person when we make memories and traditions and we’ve all been down the road where we find ourselves thinking I don’t know how I can live without our midnight cvs runs for hot tamales in our pajamas and all our stupid traditions and how will I find someone who will watch 6 straight hours of The Office with me while I cry or crash my brothers frat parties with me or talk to me all night on the phone to keep me awake when I’m driving. But in reality, we could do those same things with someone else and be happier.
Don’t make a home out of someone with 3 walls.
