Adolf Hitler used rhetoric in his speech for National Socialism. Hitler used Compare and contrast, classification also repetition. In his speech he often compared how the Germans have not been given the chance to have power for them selves, he classified them as something lower. Classification also being involved in that occasion he also said " The symbol of the unification of all classes of the German people “. Made it clear he wanted his German people united for power. At last repetition, "So again appeal had to be made, to continue the struggle, you mustn't act your self, you must obey, you must give in. You must submit to the over whelming need to obey ". Repeating the words "you must " also "again " making the audience want to give in wanting to become something greater and over come there past experiences. Adolf Hitler’s speech was very captivating because of his very energetic voice and he often practiced in front of his mirrors. Adolf Hitler had great powers of verbal communication making good case of the words. Similarities I found between the speech and the article was similarities which is like comparison broken down to comparing "the emphasize the similarities of both exams " for example as Hitler comparing to the community. They both also made clear statements. The summary of the major points addressed in the article and speech; used sources or documents to support thesis, considered the audiences purposes and points of view.
When analyzing the rhetorical effectiveness of Hitler’s speeches, it allows the person listening to his speech get the idea of what he is elaborating on. When it comes down to looking at the words and how he describes certain things or how he could emphasize certain words when saying them in his speeches. This gives the listener a chance to figure out what he is saying and how he said it. Also the type of tone he used, whether it was a good tone or serious tone since he was a serious leader at the time. Most of the time the listener will have an emotional effect as well, depending on how the speaker tells his people; whether he wants to intimidate them or make them have a relief feeling, it all depends on the speaker. Repetition is one thing that will allow the listener to focus more on the topic that he is talking about. This ensures that based on what the speaker is repeating, it will give them the assurance that they know the message given to them verbally.
Hitler's speech at the Berlin Sports Palace, displays many rhetoric he uses repetitions and makes the idea of importance relevant to his entire reasoning for persuading the people, the repetition of how he is in the benefit of the German people, and requires his sympathy for the mistakes made in the past and how he is allowed to judge it. Hitler always had a way with words he can make fun of a person with such wickedness that the person would not realize how he was fooled same as the people. A high supremacy of the German was a common rhetoric,” That was not Germany. They were miserable individuals kept by England and France, who had doped them. That was not the German nation, and to connect the nation with such people we regard as a defamation.” The wording of his speeches, and the emotional sympathy on the stupidity of the previous government presented to be quite persuasive and clever for Hitler to gain everyone's attention as a man who could lead the Germans to the best future. When involving the social aspects Hitler spoke of how the other countries had mistreated the Germans all throughout history and so the journey began.
