Slow or Fast Life?
Would you prefer a slow life where you can embrace life and capture things around you, or would you prefer a fast life where you don't have to wait for opportunity to come your way but instead you just grab at it, or maybe both where you let time be the master of you instead of you mastering it? Imagine yourself speeding down a highway and ahead of you there is a whole lane of unmoving vehicles. They're just there waiting for the light to turn green, and without processing the situation you drive right into them, ending their lives and yours. This seems all too real as already thousand of Americans and thousands more die around the world each year by high-speed vehicle accidents. All this due to people living the fast life. The slow life doesn't live without its consequences either. What if you were late for work, but stopped by Starbucks for coffee. Would you wait five minutes, risking getting fired, or leave without the coffee.
S-In perspective if you like slow living then you must like controlling your environment. Knowing it’s surrounding is a necessity.
F- A fast person can multitask and manipulate their environment. They are quick and worry about getting problems solved fast without overthinking them but not fully thinking them either.
N-Living fast or slow is not really an option it happens over time depending on the person. There are many factors around that can change a person's behavior and their way of living.
A slow life cannot manipulate the environment as much as a fast life. But slow can be an adventurous life; you could still have fun. It requires more thinking, giving an appropriate decision or response to every action, and a slow life gives you more time to prepare for events in your life. A disadvantage is that you are most likely to overthink or overdo things. Sometimes critical choices can me catastrophic and fatal to you and those around you. Picture doing a bridge. You take your time, you’re careful, you triple check things, you double weld beams because you think it’s safer and finally you think you’re done. When the bridge opens on its first day, a critical piece goes wrong; a beam snaps under pressure from the welding and one by the other beams give away and the whole structure collapses and 84 people die. Now the fast life doesn't seem so bad.
In the fast life you enjoy life at its greatest. Many people can agree that already life is too short and we will all die someday. In the fast life you can get many of the things you wanted to accomplish done faster then you would otherwise would have not been able to do in the slow life. The world is speeding in fact and everyday our society pushes farther across the boundaries. The fast life introduces us to risks such as in the highway example. So are there consequences in the fast life? Is death or near death situations a consequence of the fast life a taking a chance or risk?
Living a slow life betters your opportunity to grasp the essence of life itself.
Slow life involves more thinking when it comes to decision-making.

“Its better to be a turtle who walks patiently and enjoying every step of the way, rather than to be a rabbit who runs fast but missing every details in life.” by Nishan Panwar. In life, its the little things that count. Sure you might just want what is waiting at the end but cant always look back and fully understand what went on. For example, when you and your family go on a trip. You can easily buy a plane ticket, get on the plane, arrive at your destination and your adventure is over. Or you can go on a road trip. Driving with your family might annoy you or irritate you, but those are all the memories that one can look back at and relive them. A fast life can be more easy but still stressful because you are in a rush for what needs to get done. But a slow life needs patience. In conclusion both lives depend on the type of person you are, due to how you are.
To live a fast life or to live a slow life makes me very undecided about it. Both types have their benefits to which it can be both debatable and a struggle to choose from. To live a slow life, it’s like a person would want to be paced with everything and take their time on things. It’s good since they have enough time and it really would not be that stressful. Another good thing is that since life is slow, you can be able to enjoy good moments and be so called happy. The worst thing about having a slow life is the suffering part. When one person suffers, it’s for a long time, so if someone with a slow life was to suffer; they would suffer for a very long time. Having a slow life can also feel like forever; although you have a lot of time to waste, it’s like why have so much time in the world? To live a fast live, it shows how a person would want to get things done as soon as possible. They probably do not even have the patience for others as well since they just want to live fast and get things over with. It’s good since they want to go from one thing to another and since their lives are fast, they can go through so many things in such so little time. The negative thing about having a fast life is that things might go a bit too fast and that’s when the stress hits. You would have to struggle a bit to get though it since most likely you would not have enough time anyways. It’s difficult to choose between these two lifestyles, whether a slow life is worth living or if a fast life is good enough to enjoy. In the end, a slow life is a good and better life. With a slow life, you can enjoy everything in life without it rushing too often. If maybe you end up suffering, it was your fault for putting yourself in that position and regardless you have enough time to make yourself feel better and humble. Having a slow life can make things better to enjoy and value them as well. With a slower life, a person can notice a lot of things on their own since they would not be in a rush most of the time and not notice the little things in life.
