Olympus Trip 35, 2025.
Paris, 2025. Olympus Trip 35, I don't remember the film.
Like Amsterdam most of my pictures from this trip turned out pretty bad so I have a pretty limited selection.
#1: some tower and a street light
#2: going to the Rodin museum was a highlight. I love the stretchy, gooey, sensual softness of his sculptures. I saw a lot of incredible art in Paris that I feel VERY privileged to have seen in person. Mona Lisa not being one of them tbh get that tf outta here.
#3: Paris streets. Dirty in the right way.
#4: old stuff. I like old cities.
One of my favorite memories here was running 8 miles along the Seine. I was training for a race back home at the time and I felt the magic as well as very sore.
Amsterdam, 2025. This city really ruled. It was beautiful and friendly. The controlled chaos of all the bikers was mesmerizing. Being here made me think a better way of living is possible. I also love anywhere where water is close aka canal heaven. Growing up in the Bay Area makes me feel extra soft towards places where water features heavily.
One thing I won't forget is the first picture here. There was this group of women, immigrants, who had set up a little bike lesson in the park. They all wore vests and taught other immigrant women how to ride a bike to fit in with the culture of Amsterdam. Also for practicality since you gotta get around. It was super sweet and once again made me think better things were possible.
Frankly most of my photos from this trip turned out terribly so I really only have these two to show.
Olympus Trip 35, some kind of Kodak film.
Reno side of Lake Tahoe, from 2024 I think. Some kind of Kodak film, maybe Color Plus? Anyway look at how blue, clear, and powerful that water is. It's enough to make you wish unending misery on the folks trying to kill this planet.

The real reason we went to Mitaka. Ghibli Museum is magical and unlike any museum I've been to before. No photos of the actual place because cameras and phones aren't allowed inside, this contributed to the specialness of the entire thing.

Mitaka, Tokyo. Really nice suburb with busy streets, lots of cool families, shrines, and a massive park. Was really interesting to compare this to your typical American suburb. Much more bustling!

Tokyo, Japan. The only exposures I got from a lost roll. I think I loaded it incorrectly so I mostly got blank shots :'). I like these though.

Expired roll that came with the camera. Sometimes expired film is used for aesthetic purposes and I can see that! Some of these are too far gone to be interesting though.
