The reader being like his mentor alongside Garroth and they've been training him, while pining after him, and he actually does like them back but then he goes and betrays them? “ come on, zenzie! you gotta try harder if you wanna beat me! “ you giggled, extending a hand to help your student. but, was he really a student? to you, he was like your best friend. sure, you’ve known garroth for much longer, but with zenix. . .
“ GARROTH! “ [name] screamed, watching as the blond fell to the floor after taking a heavy blow to the shadow knight they once knew to be an introverted and kind soul.
“ i’ll never leave you! you’re. . .you’re my best friend. “ it pained you to say that, but what could you do? you were a mentor, and he was just a student.
“ pathetic. “ the man in front of you spoke, eyeing the blond’s figure with pure spite. yet, as his eyes landed on the [hair color]’s figure, he couldn’t help but feel a feeling he despised bubbling in his chest.
zenix always had a soft spot for them. how could he not? because for the longest time, romantic feelings had blossomed. and it pained him. it pained him greatly to hurt the one he loved.
“ zenix. . . “ the [species] stood, their eyes shadowed by their hair as their hands clench to fists. head raising slowly, the male of dark brown hair finally saw their eyes of [color] glaring at him. their hand tightened around their sword.
“ the only pathetic one i see here. . . “ they started, picking their sword up as tears blurred their vision. “ IS YOU! “ they screamed, forcing their aching legs to dash to the shadow knight.
“ i’d never hurt you! what kind of friend would i be if i harmed you? “ you huffed, taking a swig of water. garroth had finished his training long back, so it was only you and zenix, who was looking at you as if cupid had struck him multiple times.
“ you’re gonna have to sometimes. “ the male shrugged. abruptly, you stop drinking the cool liquid. “ even if i was held at sword-point, i’d never! you’re very important to me, and friends don’t hurt each other. “ you said, sighing as you place the bottle of water down to instead grab your sword.
“ up for another round? “ you raised a brow, smirking.
swing after swing, [name]’s body ached. blood was gushing, and both the fighters were sure the [hair color] would either pass out of blood loss or even. . . lose their life.
yet even as zenix continued to physically attack them, they made no effort to physically harm him back. instead, they attempted to weaken him. but it was no use.
collapsing to the floor, [name] pants and gasps, lungs begging for oxygen. not even a second past before the tip of a blade was held at their neck.
the world went silent.
“ g-go on. sli- ( cough ) -ice my neck o-HoU-pen. “ [color] eyes weakly glare. “ .....why? “
the question was so sudden it caught both off-guard. yet, zenix continued. “ why do you care so much about him? “ the male cleared up. “ ........ “ they didn’t have a specific response ready.
seconds turned into minutes. “ .....beca-because i thought i c-could ( cough ) get rid of these ( hack ) feelings. i thought that m-maybe if i focused o-on ( hiccup ) other people, i’d stop l-lovi- ( hiccup ) -ng you. but no mat-matter how hard i tried, i-i couldn’t. i could stop thinking about y-you. dream ab-about you. want you. love you. “ tears slowly streamed down their face.
they couldn’t even stand on their knees, falling onto the crimson-stained grass. zenix soon followed, both resting on their backs. the brunette blinked rapidly, trying to push back the tears.
weakly, [name] turned to face him. “ r-remember ( hiccup ) the time i-i promi-promised you tha-that we’d run o-off into a little cottage in t-the woods? “ they whispered.
zenix nodded.
“ when w-we'd play f-fight? “
he nodded.
“ i’d get y-you out of troub- ( wheeze ) -trouble? “
yes. yes yes yes. how could he forget? and with every memory [name] recalled, he’d nod. until their voice slowly faded out. weak and bellow a whisper. with their remaining strength [ which wasn’t much ], they gave him a weak kiss on the cheek.

walking home with her now fiance, [name] couldn’t help but shake in excitement. so much so that even garroth was concerned. though, he couldn’t blame her. he, too, was overflowing with joy.
the blasting of music slowly yet surely entered the female’s range of hearing, causing her to raise a brow and turn her head to her lover expectantly, who only gave her a smirk and teasing wink. her face flushed red, pouting as she glanced away. once again, the blond chuckled.
the music grew louder and louder, and soon it was deafening. yet, it still couldn’t hide the loud cheers of [name]’s friends, all wearing bright smiles. the two females who stood out in the crowd were aphmau and melissa, who wasted no time in running to the screaming in joy [hair color].
they shoved garroth out of the way, who stumbled in shock before sulking and walking over to a cackling zane and chuckling aaron.
the trio squeals in euphoria, jumping around in a group hug. each asked questions, seemingly never-ending until they stray to future plans.
“ wait- should we have an outdoor wedding? or maybe an indoor one! no- BOTH !! “ the [hair color] declared. “ the colors should be white and baby blue ! maybe with hints of [favorite color] as flowers. “ aphmau crossed her arms, one hand placed on her chin in a thinking manner. “ the main wedding should happen outdoors, and then maybe the party inside with some sections outside for food and activities? “ she added.
“ what should the babies be named?! “ melissa suddenly questioned, causing an abrupt stop in the two girls rambling with wide eyes. “ if it’s a boy- “
from far away, garroth couldn’t help but glance with wide eyes as blaze pats his back in a comforting manner while aaron and zane cackle at the females.
soon enough, sylvanna, aphmau’s mother, and zianna, garroth’s mother, dash into the conversation at the mention of children, which causes the poor blond to flush red in embarrassment and excuse himself inside.
“ DARLING. I DECIDED I WANT [one child/twins/triplets/etc.] !! “ he heard his lover’s voice in the distance, causing everyone to burst into laughter as he dashes off into the beach-house.

[name] sighed, attempting to block out the noise wracking her brain and replaced them with the soft crashing waves. she sat at the edge of where the fuzzy sand and moist sand met, feet experiencing the salty waters. allowing her arms to go limp, she fell back, head resting down. her expression was tranquil, hiding the sorrow she truly felt.
the girl heard footsteps, yet opted to ignore them. ‘just like you do with your problems. such a coward’ the girl flinched, trying to turn her attention away from the voice. instead, she focused on the soft hands that lead her head to their lap-
WAIT WHAT!?
[name]’s eyes snapped open, her body stumbling back in shock. her heart was pumping at an inhuman rate due to shock, and the emotion only grew when she realized who had initiated the action.
tear-filled blue hues stared at her, a sad smile on their face.
and there he sat. garroth ro’meave. [name] looked away in shame, tears of her own pricking her eyes. her body trembled. garroth slowly made his way towards the girl, arms adjusting to hug her yet waiting for permission. with a hesitant nod coming from his darling, the blond wrapped his arms around her figure.
“ why did you leave? “ garroth whispered, slowly rubbing patterns on the [hair color]s back. the girl in question couldn’t help but allow her tears to flow, body jolting with each sob leaving her figure. the blond gently shushed her failing attempts to answer, seeing as she was forcing herself to answer. instead, he whispered reassuring words to her.
a gentle kiss was pressed to her forehead, before his chin rested on her head.
finally calm, [name] pulled from the hug. she still couldn’t bring herself to face her lover, not that he minded. “ i-i thought you’d be bet-better without m-me... “ she managed to stutter out. garroth’s eyes widened in shock and slight betrayal. once more he captured her in an embrace, this time tighter than before. “ why’d you think that!? no matter what would happen, i’d always love you. “ his voice rose.
[name] spewed as many apologies as she could muster, but was cut off when strong arms carried her in a bridal manner. she couldn’t help but gasp. but her shock turned to a fit of giggles as the two lovers shared bunny kisses.
some time passed, the two lovers laughing together as they caught up with each other and what happened. while garroth shared some fun stories of what happened back home, [name] shared some stupid things melissa and her uncle had done.
and when it was deemed the right time, garroth held [name] by her wrists. her laughter died down, the two locking eyes. their faces leaned in closer and closer until the space between was no-more.
the kiss was short, yet filled with passion and a hint of hunger. strong arms wrapped around [petite/round/etc.] waist, while [thin/thick/strong/etc.] arms wrapped around a fair neck, both tugging the other closer to deepen said kiss.
when pulling away, the male held a warm smile which flustered the female madly as she looked away, pout evident on her face making the male chuckle at the cute sight.
slowly, he pulled a velvet box from his pocket and leaned down on his knee, causing [name] to gasp when catching sight of his actions.
“ [name]. ever since we met in highschool, you’ve been nothing but caring to me. we’ve been through our ups and downs, and we always stuck together like glue. while the incident with the lodge pulled us apart, we still came back to each other. and. . .i wanna be with you for the rest of my life. “ tears pricked [name]’s eyes once more, hands reaching to cover her mouth.
“ [name] [last name], will you marry me? “ the opened box revealed a shimmering golden ring with a large [favorite gem] being the main attraction. seconds of silence passed, and garroth grew increasingly worried. “ . . .[name]. . .? “ he whispered.
“ . . . YES !! ONE HUNDRED TIMES YESS !! “ with a sigh of relief, garroth caught the girl who jumped into his arms, carefully placing the ring on her finger. he spun her around, now-empty box forgotten on the ground.
his fast pace slowed soon enough, foreheads touching.

he copied the text and put it in google translate, chuckling at the translation of ‘ netflix and cuddle with takeout ‘. he returned to messenger, finding an apology text from [name].
