honeycrisp is my lil baby boy, i have been naming him that since i first played pearl in middle school, i love my not so lil turtle boy so much

im tryna get winnie and arsenic's level up more so i dont immediately get bodied by fantina's pokemon (im still gonna get my ass kicked, her pokemon are super strong)

initially i had a starly, but then i remembered that i could trade an npc kiddo my machop for their chatot! and as soon as she learned chatter, i tried to mimic how winnie calls for her spellbook and i fORGOT HOW FUCKIN CRUMCHY THE MIC ACTUALLY IS AND IT FRIES ME EVERY TIME SBDNNDD

and then there's bagel, my only surfer here! i finally got the hm for surf and i immediately taught her it so she has an actually strong water type move instead of water gun. i might switch her out for buizel or floatzel??? possibly???? but i might not, idk yet dndndn

i may have to put epoxy or glue or something for certain spots on my harpies cuz like. theyre supposed to look like theyre falling apart, not actually be falling apart shdhdn

everyone seemed to really like both the harpies and the mermaid! i need to make them into full fledged characters (the mermaid already kinda is, i just gitta flesh her out more shdhdn)

the birds and their lunch have been finished!

they look like theyre falling apart at the seams because they are in fact falling apart at the seams! initially it was supposed to be plaster, wood, and air dry clay, but plaster is very thirsty and would drink up all the moisture the clay had making it shrink and dry and crack a lot sooner than what i wanted, so! after a few days of struggling and being too stubborn to give up (and because i would not have time to start something new cuz our art final is on tuesday and today was the final day we could work on it (which i technically couldve done but i also know full well these birdies would not last the car ride shjdj)), one of my classmates as well as the teacher pointed out that they kinda give off a kind of ancient sculpture that time has not been kind to and i decided to lean into that as best as i could

Comparing Heights. Input the heights of characters to see what the different is between them. Great for keeping consistency. Free.

Magma. Draw online with friends in real time. Great for practice or hanging out. Free, paid plan available, account preferred.

Smithsonian Open Access. Loads of free images. Free.

SketchDaily. Lots of pose references, massive library, is set on a timer so you can practice quick figure drawing. Free.

SculptGL. A sculpting tool which I am yet to master, but you should be able to make whatever 3d object you like with it. free.

Pexels. Free stock images. And the search engine is actually pretty good at pulling up what you want.

Figurosity. Great pose references, diverse body types, lots of "how to draw" videos directly on the site, the models are 3d and you can rotate the angle, but you can't make custom poses or edit body proportions. Free, account option, paid plans available.

Line of Action. More drawing references, this one also has a focus on expressions, hands/feet, animals, landscapes. Free.

Animal Photo. You pose a 3d skull model and select an animal species, and they give you a bunch of photo references for that animal at that angle. Super handy. Free.

Height Weight Chart. You ever see an OC listed as having a certain weight but then they look Wildly different than the number suggests? Well here's a site to avoid that! It shows real people at different weights and heights to give you a better idea of what these abstract numbers all look like. Free to use.

i also wanna doodle my fo's interacting with each other cuz i genuinely think that some fo's would get along great and be besties! and its fun imagining their dynamics, both for the ones that would get along and for the ones that wouldnt get along
