Hetalia Fundraiser Announcement!

So I finally had someone come forward and offer to help with this! We decided to do an electronic Zine to raise money for a nonprofit!

So we are going to need staff right now to set this up, and we are looking at a few months projection to get this done. DM me if you want to be staff! I'll make a group chat.

I'm also going to start collecting names from artists who are willing to join! Pls DM me if you want to do art for it!

Also!!!! I'm putting my foot down. I want this to happen. I'm going to match up to 500$ whatever money we raise. If we make 500$ that is 1000$ going to charity!

Hetalia Discourse Update! Including Livestream Information

First things first, I want to wait until everything is over so my video covers everything! The fandom is going back and forth with these tags, so I want to be able to publicize a clear decision so everyone can be on the same page!

In the meantime I’m going to do a live stream chat where we talk about APH vs HWS! I want the pros and the cons, and any changes to be discussed. I’m looking for people who are for and against to join the chat. Mainly because there IS pros and cons. The stream will likely be thursday or friday. 

If you don’t want to join but you want input, comment on this post either Pro: (your comment) or Con: (Your comment) so we can discuss it in stream.

I’ll help put it together and if the decision is to do a Zine, i’ll help manage the printing and put down any down payment we need. 

Also apparently there have been death threats over the tag change? Please message me if you have any information about this. I don’t care if the tag change is or isn't a good idea, that’s not okay.

AND FINALLY turns out a lot of the trolls have moved on, which is to be expected and good. But unexpectedly some of them have moved to the Percy Jackson Fandom. Not so much with the mature commentary and such, but rather the death threats and discord raids. Just be careful, especially if you’re in the Percy Jackson Fandom.

Pro: when you describe your time in the fandom really well to a stranger like "oh! I make political cartoons based on a show where nations are humans! I get to portray history and politics through the characters interactions and discuss what I draw with people from all over the world!"

Con: when they ask for the name so they can look up the source material...

Remember that time that New Zealand blog told me I was evil for saying some gay, pan, and bi people in denial can be homophobic so it doesnt make sense to treat homophobes with hate?

You know why I said that?

Because I just had a girl show me I could like girls and then I lost her suddenly and I was struggling to understand my religion and my sexuality.

That’s why navy is homophobic AND pan

And then the stuff they posted about my blog leaked to my church group and exactly what I said happened.

People used the tone and actions of a single LGBT person to tell me that all gay people are evil. That gayness is “acting out” and a “behavioral issue”.

They gave all the homophobes irl at my church an excuse to tell me I’m bad for falling in love with Tatiana.

And im finally over it and able to to to tell everyone how I punished myself for “hurting” LGBT people and “acting out” at my church. Dont ask me why I punished myself for both and how I thought both were my fault.

I filled my palms with broken glass then punched a wall. And when that didnt punish me enough and let me ignore the liberals on my Tumblr and the conservatives on my Facebook, I wrote the URL of all the people I “wronged” and burned it in my hands. At least the bleeding stopped 😅

And today New Zealand was all over YouTube for their war with Kiwi farms and newzealand is acting ridiculous. And instead of feeling sick or hurting myself like I always did anytime that drama was brought up, I laughed. I laughed because it’s funny and petty and I’m stronger than letting it get to me.

I asked a beautiful girl out and I’m head over heels for her and FUCK C for trying to get me to fuck him to “cure” my gayness. And that newzealand mun? I’m over it. I dont care. I’ve healed and I just really hope you’ve changed and never do that to anyone else.

I won’t share their Instagram or tumblr, sorry. It’s not fair since it was so long ago and they couldn’t have known my church would do that.

When the unrelated bjd looks more like the character than the official doll... I hope I'm not hurting anyone's feelings when I say that the hetalia dolls are cringy. Like 2009 weaboo "I cant believe I went through that phase" cringy. Not only that but they seem really expensive considering how cheaply they're made??? Like come on that wig is 5 year old posting their ooak to DA for the first time. I've actually gotten pretty good about coming around on dolls. I used to dislike the monster high dolls but I get them now. But I've been looking at this for so long wanting to see the characters I love but I just can't. It's not even the proportions of the face that Hima uses?! Or the bodies... or the ... hands... and everything else. This has been a stupid rant from mun.
