Back at camp, you poured some stew into a bowl. Micah walked over, already coming up with some horrible way to needle you. "Howdy there, Cave Girl." He said.

"Oh, hello, Micah." You replied blandly. "Haven't you got some nightmares to haunt?"

"Haven't you got some beds to warm? It's nickle night, after all." He shot back.

Oddly enough, you actually didn't completely hate Micah. He was a deplorable human being for sure, but he was also the only one who was ever willing to meet the blackest corners of your sense humor- and throw it right back at you. "Thanks for the reminder. Perhaps I'll pay your mother a visit."

Micah howled and took a step forward. "You know, I think I might have some loose change to spare myself."

"Great. maybe you can afford a bath."

"Someday," he declared. "You'll darken my doorstep, Y/N. Just you wait."

"Unlikely. Unless you count paying my grave a visit-"

"-Good lord, ENOUGH!" Dutch bellowed from a few feet away. "Some of us are trying to eat. And you two are being repulsive."

"Ah, come on!" Micah called back, chuckling. "We're just playing around. I know I can be a little rough around the edges, but maybe I just need woman's touch."
