o shit waddup
I decided to scroll through this blog after two years of abandoning it. I was hit with nostalgia. Just for the record, I WILL NOT be reviving this blog. I just want to kinda give an update on myself and my life. I am old now. I graduated high school and I'm now in college. Before you ask, no I haven't read Rick Riordan's new series. Personally, Greek mythology would most likely be the mythology that will interest me most. All kinds of mythology are rad but I'm just doing this out of personal preference. So, while scrolling through this blog, it kinda brought back some bittersweet memories. I used to date a guy from Camp Jupiter and I bought him a Camp Jupiter shirt and I bought myself a Camp Halfblood shirt (still have it, which is rad) and idk, it's kinda sad we had a fallout but I had to look out for myself and not stick to a relationship that I wasn't happy with. Idk why I'm sharing this with you guys, but here I am, lmao. I'm currently seeing this guy who I have been friends with for many years. He makes me smile. Especially when he fangirls over his favorite things 😌 I still use tumblr, just not particularly this blog. My personal blog is @nearlyapotato and you are free to follow me on there! I reblog a lot of memes and geek shit. I'll occasionally write some stuff that's stuck in my head, but it's still rad. Although I'm sad that the PJO and HoO series has died, it had to be done. All good things must come to an end but they shall remain good and memorable. Rick has given us a childhood and one hell of a mythology lesson and I thank him for that. I hope that one day I'll buy all the physical copies from both series and share them with my future children. I honestly don't know what's going on with the fandom. Pretty sure they all, or a good majority, switched to Nordic mythology, considering I don't see much PJO/HoO stuff, but I'm also thankful for being apart of this fandom. We've all suffered through Rick's cliffhangers and tortures and held on to each other for strength whilst Rick laughed manically and drank jars of our tears. I believe this will be the last post I will do on this blog. Like I said, you are free to follow my personal blog @nearlyapotato for geekiness and dank memes. This is Mari, 18 years old, and forever being a daughter of Aphrodite, saying farewell.
