Unlike prev events, where the prizes were randomized, I’ll be judging them this time! I’ll be judging on execution and thoughtfulness with the theme. Don’t worry about having to be elaborate! If it fits the theme and includes one of the muses, it’s all good.
Fics can just be interactions with other canon characters or take the form of x readers. 600 words min and no max limit!

Raven, with a little sweat beading on her face: What? You say I seem stiff? I assure you, I am not nervous at all.
Raven, with a big, forced smile: Yes, I am most DEFINITELY not nervous.
*Screen pans down*
*Rattling sfx, you can see her live 2D model's feet shaking*

Raven, panicking: OKAY, I ADMIT IT. I FEEL LIKE I'M GOING TO BE SICK.
Raven, closing her eyes and looking uneasy: B-But it's okay. I'm not going to be alone in this. Prefect will be there to support me, so I must put on a brave face.
*Yuu nods*
Raven, smiling (for real this time): Great! I'm feeling a little lighter already. Well then, shall we get going to get dressed?
*Fades to black*

Raven: Wow, this is...

Raven, clearing her throat: I-I apologize, it seems I lost my composure for a second there. Shall we focus on finding something suitable for me to wear?
Raven, rifling through a rack of clothes: I'm glad that Uncle was able to negotiate dress options for me. I realize that humans have the option of pants and long sleeves, but I prefer to have my legs and wi... er, arms, free. It is optimal for flexibility and freedom of movement.
Raven, pensive: Hmm, I usually wear black and dark blue. Should I go for that? But today is a special occasion, so maybe not? The project is in collaboration between Night Raven College and Foothill Town, so perhaps Night Raven's school colors would be appropriate?
*Yuu dialogue choice:*
A. How about you try out pastel colors today?
Raven: Pastel colors? It's a bit unconventional, but... it may just be the change to tie this entire project together. Okay, let's try it out!
B. These pearls would add a pop of white to your look.
Raven: Yes, you're right. They would add a nice touch to the outfit. Hm, I do wear pearls with black, so what if we tried pearls with more white this time?
*Fades to black*
Raven: I'm finished changing.
*She steps out, the background all glittery as it pans up to show her entire outfit*
Raven: Hehe, I feel like a princess in this fancy dress.
Raven: The beret keeps the overall look from leaning too proper. It adds an element of whimsy.
Raven: And these gathered sleeves and shawl make me feel as though I have my wings back, preparing for flight.
Raven: The outfit really came together thanks to your sage advice, Prefect. Thank you for assisting me! I wouldn't have had the confidence to go with such colors otherwise.
*Yuu nods, then scene fades to black*
[ Sage’s Island - Foothill Town ]
*Footsteps sfx*
Raven: The weather is quite agreeable today. It's the perfect day for an outing on the town.
Raven: Look, the florist's wares are happily soaking up the sun. When they're blowing in the lazy summer breeze like this, it looks like they're waving at us.
Raven: The bookshop has the new summertime release I was waiting for. Hehe, I'll come back around later to purchase it with my birthday allowance.
Raven: Oh, do you know about this place?
*Screen pans left, then back to her*
Raven: This is a "parfumerie". It’s a store that sells perfumes, a fragrant substance that imparts a pleasant odor when applied to skin.
Raven: Ravens have very rudimentary olfactory systems compared to dogs or cats, or even humans. When I first assumed this form, I was impressed by the new variety of smells I could pick up. I think I went around sticking my nose in every avaliable flower.
Raven: To think that humans could extract the essential oils from plants and use it to enhance themselves...
Raven: Science is amazing!!
*Yuu dialogue choice:*

Raven: I hear this shop has workshops on the weekends. You can listen to a perfumery lecture and the DIY your own little bottle of fragrance to take home with you. Would you be interested in—

Raven: Hmm? That’s…
Ace, grinning: We gotta stop bumpin’ into each other like this. Judging by Raven’s fancy fit, I’m guessing you’re bringing another one around to film?
*Yuu nods*
Raven: Another one… Ah, that’s right! Prefect must have had their hands full with Leona-san earlier.
Ace: Yup, he’s still down at the pâtissière, taking his sweet time. I had my fill of sweets, so I checked out.
Ace, smirking: Betcha you’re relieved about that, huh, Raven? You can have him alllll to yourself.
Raven, wide-eyes: Eh? What exactly do you mean by that?
Ace: Anyway~
Raven, angrily: D-DON’T JUST IGNORE ME?!
Ace, annoyed: Sheeh, who spat in your porridge? Prefeeeect, Raven’s bullying me!
Raven: I am NOT. Quit being so childish!
Ace: Says the child.
Raven: You take that back!!
Ace: Make me.
*Pans between Ace and Raven*
*Raven takes a deep breath*
Raven: It’s fine. I’m fine. I am a lady and I will not allow myself to be baited by your immature antics. Let us pay this nuisance no mind and get to the filming location, Prefect.
Ace: Hah?! You think it’ll be so easy to walk away from this? Like I’ll let that happen.
*Fades to black*
[ Sage’s Island - Foothill Town ]
Yuu: Start filming!
Raven: ...
*Zooms in on Raven*
Raven, sweating: …
*Zooms in further*
Raven, visibly panicked in the face: …
Ace, sighing: I don’t even need to sabotage the recording because you’re already sabotaging yourself!!
Ace: You’re WAY too camera shy for this. Who thought this was a good idea? I’m starting to feel bad for the business you’re supposed to promote…
Ace: What is it, anyway? It kinda looks like another bookstore, and those are a sorcent a dozen in town. Pick your favorite titles and just yap about those.
Raven: Th-That’s incorrect! The books they sell here aren’t the kind you read.
Ace: They’re not?
Raven: This is a stationary store. It follows that they would sell notebooks and journals, with paper that comes in blank, lined, dotted, and grid.
Ace: Lines I get. Those are for note taking. And I guess the blanks you can use for drawing? But what are the dotted and grid paper for?
Raven: They're useful as visual indicators for journaling. For example, if you wanted to make a rectangle shape for a weekly calendar, you'd just trace the dots or grids.
Raven: There's something romantic about opening a book and finding unused pages staring back. You can fill them with whatever you desire. Your memories, your hopes and dreams, your stories, your secrets...
Ace, surprised: Whoa, you suddenly started gabbing a ton.
Ace: What I'm hearing is that this is one of those places you organized types and space cases shop at.
Raven: Not necessarily. They have a wide variety of writing implements here. Pencils, markers, and pens in every nib size, as well as ink and paint in every color of the rainbow. The store partners with local artists to sell homemade stickers and stamps. It's an illustrator's paradise.
Raven: You see that long table in the middle? The store lays out new inks and pens for customers to test out before buying. You can see how the product looks and feels in your hand to determine if it's a good fit for your purposes.
Ace: So it's for artists then? Or do you know this cuz you buy a bunch of crayons to doodle in your diary?
Raven: E-Excuse YOU!!
Raven: They also offer many practical items for students, like sticky notes, paper clips, folders, rulers, highlighters, and more. Many NRC and RSA students and staff shop here for their school supplies.
Raven: The fact that Ace-san is unfamiliar with this spot... Could it be...
Raven, smug: That you are an unprepared, unserious student?
Ace, annoyed: Oi, not everyone's an egghead like you are!
Raven: As I've said, this stationary store isn't merely for one group of people. It appeals to anyone and everyone that has a use for office supplies. It'd be wise of you to not sort yourself into a particular box.
Ace: You LITERALLY just sorted me into the 'unprepared, unserious student' box.
Yuu: Aaaand CUT!
Raven: ... Huh?
Raven: P-Prefect... You were recording this entire time?!
Ace: Well, duh. You didn’t notice?
Ace: It was obvious you weren’t going to make any headway when you were so fixated on the camera pointed at you.
Ace, smirking: Aren’t you glad your good ol’ buddy Ace was here to help get your mind off of it? You came off way more natural when you have someone to bounce off of.
Raven: Wh-Why should I be thankful to you when you’ve done nothing but tease me the entire time?! And did you HAVE to talk about my diary on camera?!
Ace: Just have it cut out in post-production. That’s what it’s for, isn’t it?
Ace: … By the way, thanks for confirming it exists.
Raven: !!
Ace: Anyway, this was fun and all, but I’ve gotta get going. The dorm leader’s gonna have my head if I’m not back in time to do my share of the dorms.
Ace: Smell ya later! Have fun on your date.
Raven: W-Wait one moment! It’s not a…
Raven: …
Raven: H-He’s already gone?! How can one person be so speedy but only when it comes to avoiding responsibilities?! I shall have a strongly worded lecture prepared for him later!!
*Yuu shakes head*
Yuu: We should head to the patisserie.
Raven: Is it that time already?! Oh dear, we’re going to be late for a very important date!
Raven: Let us be off!!
*Fades to black*

Raven: Waaaaaah~ What a gorgeous pâtissière! The interior is so fancy, the sweets and pastries in the glass cases look like works of art!
Raven: … Hm? Oh, sitting over there is…
Raven, waving: Leona-san!!
Leona: …
Leona: Well, now. Look what the herbivore dragged in.
Raven: Hehe, I just finished filming. It surprisingly works up an appetite.
Raven: Do you mind if we sit here?
Leona: *sighs* Go ahead, no one’s stoppin’ ya.
Raven: ...
Leona: What're you staring for? Don't you know it's impolite?
Raven: Sorry, I was just thinking that Leona-san's mane looks particularly shiny today.
Leona, smirking: Yeah, well, I just had a treatment done right before this. Must be workin' its magic if you noticed.
*Clinking sfx*
Raven: Oooh, this jelly is beautiful! Blue as the ocean, glittering when the sunshine hits it.
*Chomps*
Raven: Mmm, it’s so refreshing! Almost like I was hit with a spray of bright citrus. It’s light too, so it’s not too filling.
Raven: … Whoa, the staff laid so many pastries out. Are these all for us?
*Chomps*
Raven: The eclair is oozing with so much cream… This fruit tartlet is bursting with berries and custard… And the chocolate cake pairs well with these cherries.
Leona, groaning: I said you could sit here, not that you have to narrate everything you put in your mouth. Don’t make me revoke my generosity.
Leona: It’s your birthday too, right? You’re here to eat, drink, and be merry. So do that without the words.
Raven: Oops, d-did I get carried away again? I apologize.
Raven: Did you want to try some, Leona-san? I can’t possibly finish all of this, even with the Prefect’s help.
Leona, frowning: I didn’t say I wanted any of your sweets.
*Yuu dialogue choice, but Raven’s response is the same either way*

*Raven smiles, Leona puts a hand to his temple and sighs again*

Bonus sketches!!
Here’s the reference I prepared for Miss Raven’s La Bonbonnière outfit! The full-body makes it easier to appreciate the lower half of her design, as well as the little details like the gathered sleeves, beret, cutler hair. and—my favorite part—her necklace. It’s supposed to have an offset teapot and teacup, with teardrop-shaped pearls dispensing from the teapot into the teacup.
👆 Here’s a rough sketch of what Miss Raven’s groovy might have looked like! I used Deuce’s La Bonbonnière groovy as a basis, then doodled in Miss Raven and added a different fruit. I chose cherries because 1) they’re a summer fruit! and 2) they’re a reference to black forest cake.
Cloche doesn’t know it, but she became Vil’s favourite child, or at least the “cousin” Epel is always compared to (that was the original script before switching it over to VDC dinner). I’ve always wondered about beastmen diet, since Leona has a clear preference to meat as carnivores, yet Ruggie and Jack don’t have as strong a preference (or at least a lack of dislike of non-meat things). Cloche probably still has human tastes but other beastmen (carnivores) look at her and go “is that even sustainable?”. I HC carnivore beastmen as needing a certain amount of meat more than humans. Friendly reminder Cloche is non-confrontational in the face of authority…
Before Vil learned Cloche was human, I like to think he tries to make Cloche and Grim feel ‘included’ in a group full of humans. Social etiquette and all that.
Thought this would be a fun lil series for everyone to get to know Cloche-chan’s daily life! I will never not love panels that show off Cloche’ features/curse. Cloche would try to avoid referring to people by name (if possible) just to avoid calling them Master/-sama. In her thoughts, she may call them whatever they want. The curse does get on Cloche’ nerves after a while, especially when people mistake her compliance with the curse for who she is.
Five years of yumeshipping Rook...a baby could've been born and gotten sent to kindergarten in that amount of time....The ship name Cavalier was suggested by one of my friends and it stuck until now, but at some point I contemplated changing it to Armagnac (for the vibes), so I'm bringing back that idea to turn it into their anniversary art!
Getting emotional for a second I really can't imagine my life without Rook to be honest. I fear I'm not exaggerating when I say that Rook has been my raison d'etre for a very long time. I wasn't doing too great emotionally a few years back and then COVID happened so as a young teen who didn't like going out much I was ecstatic that I now had plenty of time to my own devices. Long story short I stumbled across TWST and I started watching the TLs of the main story + events on Youtube. Admittedly I didn't care much about Rook at all until mid-book 5 when there was a moment that suddenly made me go "Oh. I think I really like this character actually..."
I can't really remember exactly what made me like him so much, but the more content I saw of him, the more I fell in love(as cringe as it sounds). He just has so much love in his heart to give and I guess I hoped he could receive that same devotion from someone too.
The future isn't set in stone, so I can't say for certain that I'll keep yumeshipping him forever, but even if I do end up stepping away from TWST, he'll always have a place in my heart. That being said, Happy Anniversary my darling hunter! 🫶🫀

A reunion of lovers through time, or perhaps curiosity that’ll kill the cat? The Pygmalion AU I had in mind would take place with Cloche as Pygmalion. (Vil is Aphrodite) Decided to mash the two together in this scene vaguely as Cloche as the reincarnation of Rook’s sculptor.
