How many character customization options are there in World of Warcraft

Hi there!

My brother has spent hours computing how many customization options does every race-gender combo have in the character creation screen. (I clearly owe him a drink.) I'd like to share the result!

How many options in the Alliance? 6,02548E+12

How many options in the Horde? 5,99787E+12

Are you saying that the Alliance has more options than the Horde? Yes, though it's a really thin difference.

So… who has the most customization options? The male orc, followed by the female night elf!

And who has the least? The female darkiron dwarf, followed by the male vulpera!

What's the average? 2,61377E+11

And the median? 237785188

If you want the computing details, here they are (with death knights and demon hunters, but not with the new dark ranger thingy as it's not by default in the character creation options). It's in French though. https://pastebin.com/hRFgkyP8 We've chosen the logarithmic scale for the graphic representation (base 10). That basically means that when the rectangle is higher by 1 on the graphic, the value it represents is actually 10 times higher. If we had not done that, only 2/3 rectangles would be visible, crushing the others. But this is not a real problem because, actually, the logarithmic scale is not only convenient, it is also a good measure of the number of options.
