When I post shop links, I'm trying to avoid amazon, target, walmart and dropship/knockoff sites, but that isn't always possible (especially amazon, which often has out of date stock from companies no longer selling a particular item directly). If you wish to purchase these items but don't want to support these stores, you probably can find these things elsewhere if you really look, including on secondhand sites. And to be honest these things ARE going to be a lot cheaper on amazon and at big box stores, so keep that in mind when you see the prices on links to smaller businesses.
