Equally as important as beautiful people and rooms. This Okonomiyaki I once ate.
I woke up with such a strong okonomiyaki craving this morning I went through four years of photographs to find this one hoping it would satiate me. It has not. Has anyone tried making it at home? Was it a disaster?
Starting off my Saturday morning by posting these incredibly calming and stunning photographs of model Aleece Wilson. I could not find a source for these anywhere, so I suspect they were just taken for her Instagram page (@oddfreckles) - so sorry for the scrolling icons!
She is so stunning and constantly switching up her styling in fun and bold ways, and yet I’m always drawn back to these photos that she must have posted over a year ago now. The soft muted color palette from her hair to her nails to her cheeks that plays off but does not overly match the flowers. 😍😍😍
I lied to myself when I told myself I made this tumblr for pretty pictures I liked. It was always going to become a cat tumblr.
Look at my beautiful cat daughter and her occasionally ridiculous way of sitting (see my profile pic for more evidence).
Lucian Freud, Boy’s Head, 1952
I was flipping through a book about Lucian Freud, and honestly - I don’t love a lot of his work. And I find the man himself a little creepy (why does he refer to all the adults he paints as girls or boys in his titles?). But I LOVED this very early painting of his. I could try and explain why, but I’m not even sure myself.
Will Sharpe in Giri/Haji, 2019.
If Will Sharpe had a cult, I would join it. I’ve never seen Giri/Haji, but from Will Sharpe GIFs and pictures alone I think I would like it.
Alexa Chung photographed by Marta Bevacqua for Glamour Spain, March 2020.
My god I love the jewel green and blue fabrics, so at harmony in tone but such different opacities. Plus as a fellow pale-olive brunette, I’m always keeping an eye out for colors that pop on her.
