Hobbies: I'm fickle and have many passions but little time to pursue them all; however I write everyday, enjoy reading from novels to manga and I draw when I feel the urge.

Why Lorien Legacies?: I loved the series when I first read it and I always felt that it had the potential to be a huge series and blockbuster movie but alas it wasn't to be. Tending to hyperfixate on things I enjoy, LL became one of those things over time and thus this blog came to be.

Current Fixations: Invincible (S4), Strip Law, The Boys (not caught up), Boruto: Two Blue Vortex.

Comfort Series/Manga: Seinfeld, Naruto, Dragon Ball, Fullmetal Alchemist and Death Note for starters.

Trivia: I've been thinking of starting another blog about Naruto/Boruto because OG Naruto is one of my favorite series ever and I've watched it growing up and was a weekly reader when the manga ended.

Y'all ever realize that each of the Garde's Legacies suit their personality/roles and suit them.

4/John. Before the Ximic bs, John was a specialist with some of the most diverse abilities, allowing him to excel in different situations. Lumen/Pyrokinesis allows him to fight in chaotic situations like in a fire without hurting himself as well as dishing it out. He can call allies with Animal Telepathy and turn Mogadorian beasts against them.

5. A lone soldier, has Legacies that allows him to endure damage (Externa) as well as dish it out. As well to escape if he needs to with his Avex

6. Has Legacies that allows her to either support her allies (Noxen) by spreading her invisibility and staying under the radar or take out enemies stealthily. As well as take out high priority targets with her lightning 🌩/elemental manipulation. Her Sturma isn't as useful in 1v1 fights because of the concentration needed, but with the help of allows she can use it to its full potential.

7. Marina. A survival specialist and adaptable in any situation. Can see in the dark, breathe underwater and has accelerated speed, healing. All useful for survival. Then finally has her master Legacy, Glacen which she can use to fight.

8. Teleportation, density control and shape-shifting were a powerful set of abilities with great potential which the humorous and easy-going Eight used for his amusement to playfully test his fellow garde as well as to evade the Mogadorians while remaining in India for so many years.

9. Super strength, speed and hearing, as well as the ability to produce fields of anti-gravity, animal telepathy and legacy transference. While Nine is surely full of bravado and a bit bloodthirsty, explaining his enhanced physicals - he also hates bullies and can empathize and communicate with animals as well as empower his comrades with legacy transference.

Ella. The youngest of the Garde sought to bring them all together, seeking out Marina with Crayton as well as Eight and would eventually awaken Telepathy to find a lost Six. Despite her being powerless at times physically, she possessed great mental prowess and would eventually awaken Dreynen - the Legacy with the power to induce powerless in other Garde by suppressing their legacies.

Halloween Garde Headcanons.

In the spirit of the holiday. 

Garde Haunted House

All of the living Garde would contribute to the haunted house in some way. 

John: carves out jack-o-lanterns with his diamond dagger and uses Lumen to generate a fireball inside of them before levitating the jack-o-lanterns around with his telekinesis. Also he’d use his animal telepathy to get spiders and other creepy animals to follow the people into the haunted house without them knowing. If they tried to turn back there’d be hundreds of spiders behind them. 

Five: puts a small flashlight in his mouth and the light emits out of his empty left eye, he calls it a human jack-o-lantern. Just thinking about this is lowkey terrifying. 

Marina+Eight+Ella: Marina can use her Glacen to generate a cold mist and with her night vision, she’ll point out targets to Eight. The mist disguises Eight, and he teleports right next to them, transformed into different sorts of beasts and monsters. The jump scares would be legendary. Ella would be the creepy mind reader. She’d single out the ‘tough-guys’ who try to pretend that they aren’t scared with her telepathy and find out the thing they fear the most. Once she does, she tells Eight telepathically, and he’ll transform into it. 

Six+Nine: Nine would use his super speed to randomly snatch someone from the group and run them to the top of the ceiling, dangling them by their leg. They’d scream their heads off, until they realized they weren’t actually falling. Six would already be waiting up there, as Nine would transfer his anti-gravity Legacy to her and soon as people look to see where the sound came from, she’d make them all invisible to make them think they imagined it. 

Sam: Sam uses his technopathy to shut off the phones or cameras of anyone who tries to record to protect the Garde’s privacy and to creep them out.

Everyone who went would have an amazing time, but would have no photo or video evidence to prove that it actually happened, so no one would actually believe them.

Sam/Six Headcanon ending

After the war ends, Sam and Six in their twenties finds a young human Garde girl (around 7-9) who's mute with a particularly dangerous Legacy which she can hardly control. Six takes it upon herself to teach her to control her power.

While teaching her to control her powers, they learn that the girl's only family was her grandmother - who'd passed recently which Sam suspects to be the trigger for her powers manifesting earlier than normal. Six develops a bond with her, seeing herself in the girl.

Teaching her control over her Legacy is a harder endeavor than either of them imagined due to her trauma but neither Six or Sam are willing to abandon her, so they decide to adopt her. She accompanies them on their travels, Sam homeschools her purely due to Six's schooling being spotty at best and Six works on honing her power so she won't be a danger to herself or others. In time, she slowly begins speaking again.

Marina of the Sea

After the end of United as One I always imagined that Marina would settle down deep beneath the sea - mostly due to her being called Marina of the Sea and she can breathe underwater and can see in the dark, which would make her well equipped to survive.

With the rise of the Human Garde, many would develop underwater breathing like her and might seek her out for a safehaven as they wouldn't be judged by the normal humans on the surface as they'd all be Garde and share a connection. Marina could lead them, teaching them to hone their newfound powers and influence a new generation of Human Garde which live beneath the sea.

In this case, her title as Marina of the Sea would actually mean something and she could choose to be independent of surface politics and the Human Garde Academy, providing a route for Human Garde that didn't want to join the Earth Garde.

Do you have any theories on how Pittacus Lore was able to get to Earth when he was badly injured? I'm thinking he used a Loralite stone that was planted beforehand in a previous Earth mission so he could get to Malcolm when he had the chance

Never really thought about how he'd gotten to Earth but a ship would definitely be out of the question as it takes at least a year to get from Lorien to Earth and with him being injured he would've died during the journey.

It's very possible that Pittacus got to Earth via Loralite teleportation. We know there's a few big loralite deposits and the one closest to Paradise would be the one in New Mexico. Once Pittacus got there he could've flew or teleported to Paradise seeing that he possesses all the Legacies.

Identity of Devdan

Devdan is an integral character in Number Eight's backstory as after the death of his Cepan, he acted as a mentor to Eight. Devdan is described as 'spiritual man' by Eight and was able to recognize Eight after initially meeting him in the form of a rabbit.

Devdan taught Eight about Hinduism and inspired his future Vishnu disguise and his forms as well as trained him in Indian Martial Arts - not only that, he guided him in using his Legacies. According to Eight, Devdan never returned to their usual meeting spot and it's assumed he was killed by the Mogadorians.

Now most people assumed that Devdan was Pittacus in disguise but Pittacus was confirmed dead by Malcolm as he died in his garage shortly before the Garde and their Cepan arrived on Earth and his skeleton is still there to prove it. My theory is that Devdan is a Demi-Loric and the son or descendant of the Oracle - a female Garde with especially strong precognitive abilities and the creator of the paintings in the Himalayan Cave.

I believe this because the Oracle secluded herself within the Loric Cave in the Himalayas which isn't far from where Eight grew up in India. This would explain Devdan's knowledge on Legacies and how he was able to recognize Eight as if the Oracle was his mother she could've foresaw their meeting.

TLDR - Devdan wasn't Pittacus and instead was a Demi-Loric son/descendant of the Oracle

Oh my word there’s still an LL fandom on here????!!!! I’m rereading the books after a couple years, and was a bit saddened to find that most of the fandom fell away after the series had ended (bc I actually only read the books for the first time when the entire series had been published for years), but you post regularly and reblog regularly, so yay, it seems that people are still here!!! After years of loving these books and rereading them I’d love to finally join the fandom— any blogs you’d recommend I follow, ppl who are still into LL and active at least every couple months? (I’d say ‘acgive regularly’ if I was a normal-ish person, but I’m rarely online, so I don’t mind people who post sporadically too— in fact I almost prefer that, you get me?). Anyways ahhh tldr I’m so glad other people are still obsessing over these aliens lol, like super happy :D

Hey hey, welcome to the fandom!! Yeah we're still here, it kinda gets a bit quiet now and again with all of us being busy, but the fandom is still around and kicking!

Most LL fans as far as I'm aware post about the series on their main blogs that have frequent activity, so if you don't mind following people that post any kind for a while but have something LL related now and again, this would be your option. If you wanna chat them up about the series then I would say @kip-loric @biddybaboop @simpforsix are very active and occasionally share LL art or incorrect quotes or memes!

If you are looking for LL blogs, I would say @5s-missing-eye and @apocalx post on occasion, but they're super passionate about the characters and have tons of interesting aus and headcanons and book thoughts to read through!

Kip currently has a Gem AU with the Garde that you can ask them about if you happen to know about Steven Universe, and both them and apocalx have LL OCs who are Human Garde with some detailed backstories and personalities!

I usually just follow the lorien legacies tag and find stuff from there, and once in a blue moon you get a new person come out and post some art or incorrect quotes or fanfic ideas for a while! The tag updates sporadically as well, but sometimes in the year it gets pretty frequent (like now for example since it's break for some of us in school).

I also wanna note that though LL posts aren't frequent year round, the fandom in general is happy to discuss the series and talk about our favorite characters or what we think about the books, and there's lots of us who got things we wanna say to someone. Loric Remnants on Earth

There’s reason to believe that there are still those with Loric blood on Earth besides the Nine Garde + Ella that were sent to Earth. For example, the Oracle was a Garde woman who lived on Earth and had the Legacy of Precognition and she made the prophetic paintings in the Himalayan Mountains. 

When Eight first awakened his Morfen Legacy, he found a man named Devdan in the Himalayan mountains who was very spiritual and taught him Indian martial arts and helped him control his new Legacy. Devdan could easily been a descendant of the Oracle who was in the same area likely years back. 

We know Demi-Loric can’t awaken any Legacies, but they are known to be exceptional and a lot of them rise to be significant figures in history such as Buddha, Caesar, Alexander the Great, etc. People often state Devdan to be Pittacus but we know for sure Pittacus was dead as his skeleton was in Malcolm’s basement and his pendant was very similar to John’s. 

There could be more Demi-Loric on Earth that wouldn’t know of their heritage as they wouldn’t be able to awaken Legacies. But with the activation of the Loric Entity, that all could change. If the Entity can give Humans Legacies, it should be able to grant Demi-Loric Legacies as they actually have Loric blood.

In future books, we could’ve saw a faction of humans with Loric ancestry that awakened Legacies and potentially more than just Telekineis + a personal Legacy like the Earth-Garde.

Late but yes! 

Her name is Azel and she’s a black Garde around the same age as Six, (16-17). She was born to two wealthy Garde vacationing on Earth in Rio de Janeiro. Her mother got a premonition of the war when she was around 4-5 and her parents left for Lorien to fight and they died alongside the rest of the Loric on Lorien. 

She was taken care of by her parent’s butler until a few years passed and they realized that her parents weren’t returning and their butler stole the small amount of precious jewels her parents left her and disappeared. 

Azel grew up on the streets of Rio and had to steal and pickpocket to survive until she turned fourteen and began to develop her first Legacies. She thought that she was the only Garde on Earth, until she happened to see the video of John parting the flames and levitating down the two story house. Azel instantly realized that he must be a Garde like her and seeks him out and meets the other Garde.

- Five/Nine: they both are stronger than the other Garde besides John, and they’re around equal. I’d give Five the edge for getting the better of Nine multiple times, but I didn’t forget that Nine drove a pole through Five’s chest and that he would’ve died if John didn’t heal him, so I say they’re about even. 

- Six

- Eight: Eight is lower because Six got the better of them in their fight, and she definitely has the higher attack power with her Elemental Manipulation Legacy.
