hi! i’m eris, genderfluid (w/e pronouns work for me), i’m 25, it’s nice to meet you- the following is a brief about/rules/things you should know that’s going to be pinned until i manage to write a full work doc of rules and about.

please note- i don’t ever plan on having a full theme, this blog will always be ‘dash only’, i just have full blog view open so people can send asks and because it’s? easier to read things/look through tags with blog view open. i also won’t always be using icons/heavy formatting just bc... while i love graphics- i'd much rather focus on my content/writing.

rules; 

there will be triggers on this blog with michael being from ahs. any mention of how michael was conceived i’d say is... rare on this blog, but would probably be the worst that you’ll see here (and always tagged). there will be a pretty high chance of bloody imagery and n/sfw mentions, the latter will always be tagged as ‘nsfw cont tw’.

no drama pls- if something about my content bothers you, either please come to me personally or soft-block. if you talk about me behind my back and i find out, you’ll also be blocked. i just really don’t have time for people committed to misunderstanding me.

the psd i use for my dash icon/icons is ‘berry cherry’ by kingsleigh, the border is border 2 by artemispsds, and the blockquotes are a free-to-use template made by plutocommissions.

important things about my michael;

i use canon for michael very loosely. as i get this blog up and running again i’ll be making an actual about with what i’m dropping/keeping, but anything concerning the final couple episodes you can consider dropped from my canon. we’re not acknowledging that ending in this house.

michael is the literal antichrist and he’s powerful. 

my michael is genderfluid and goes by he/him/they pronouns. when he’s ‘younger’ sometimes he dresses feminine leaning (in au’s where he’s in a setting like to explore his personal preferences more- like attending miss robichaux's) but by the time he’s fully ‘matured’ he regularly wears eye makeup, dresses with a feminine flair, and usually has a full lingerie set on beneath his suit/outfit. in most canon verses he doesn’t have enough knowledge of modern gender terms to be able to tell anyone he’s genderfluid, but he knows himself enough to know how he feels/how he likes to present himself.

michael is bisexual... i wouldn’t say he leans one way more than the other, but he’s definitely not a big fan of submissive partners. from canon i ship him with john henry, mallory, madison and sometimes under pre-plotted circumstances, cordelia.

michael’s ‘younger’ visage (warlock academy up until the apocalypse) is in his early twenties while his ‘older’ post-apocalypse visage is closer to his late twenties/early thirties. i use a range because michael is not human and therefor does not age like a normal human. his aging accelerated in early live and then decelerated- he will stop aging around 37 (around a literal 13 in human years, if i’m remembering correctly). michael is not human. how he ages as well as how matures emotionally is far different than that of a human. 

on how he emotionally matures- michael can be perfectly poised and together, contained, or can be an absolute raging mess of a brat. usually, the latter isn’t hidden too far behind the former making him a bit of a loose canon once a nerve has been hit.

michael has physical (unseen, because they’re ‘internal’) differences as well that not even he doesn’t know about because he’s never been to a doctor... he has a jacobson’s organ along the roof of his mouth, the same as a snake. it’s a patch of ‘sensory cells’ used to taste the air- in michael’s case he can taste the emotions of others.

michael does not have any physical records; birth certificate, social security, any sort of government record/papers. along with never having been to a doctor, he also was never able to go to school.

Michael Langdon: Powers

Due to his demonic heritage, Michael displays a variety of powerful supernatural abilities, on a higher level than even the Supreme Witch.

Clairvoyance - The magical ability to read the minds of others and project their thoughts into them. This power is also known as Telepathy.

“Night Vision of the Soul” - The magical ability to “see into the dark places that people try desperately to keep hidden.” He uses this power to sense Gallant’s anger towards his grandmother and reveal to Mallory that he knows she secretly wants to kill Coco. It is likely Michael inherited this ability from his creator, The Devil, who mentioned in Asylum that he simply “know[s] everything”.

     Water  is  unceremoniously  splashed  onto  his  face,  catching  on  his  eyelashes  and  making  him  sputter  and  scowl.  Besides  his  open  annoyance,  there’s  no  tell-tale  fizzle.  When  he  finally  speaks,  straining  against  the  dual-use  sigil  cuffs  that  hold  his  hands  behind  his  back,  his  response  to  the  treatment  is  childish.

     I  know  you.  That’s  what  Michael  thinks,  but  doesn’t  say-  eyes  almost  luminescent  as  they  lock  with  the  younger  (he  knows  by  scent-)  hunter’s.  He’s  not  safe  within  their  vicinity,  their  close  presence  sending  a  skittering  anxiety  down  his  spine,  quelling  cool  against  his  lower  stomach.

     Maybe  he  should  claim  as  much-  I  know  you.  He  doesn’t,  not  really.  It’s  just...  the  smell  of  him-  the  weight  of  his  soul.  ...maybe  he  should  lie.  Are  they  going  to  try  to  kill  him?  Instead  of  speaking,  Michael  merely  watches  from  the  upper  floor,  taking  a  long  moment  to  watch,  measure  and  consider  options.  Questions  like,  ‘Who  are  you?  What  do  you  want?’,  don’t  settle  with  him.  Michael  knows  him-  them.  So,  instead...   ‘   Do  you  know  who  I  am?   ’

michael was not born evil- he was born inhuman, a predator; the myriad of animals and the babysitter he killed as a toddler were instinctual kills that all occurred when michael was too young to have cognitive thought. (additional proof for this is vivien craving raw organs whilst pregnant with him.) as he grows older those instincts mature, turn up only defensively- i.e. 1. the priest constance called to ‘exorcise him’ or w/e (“his words hurt my ears-,”), 2. he kills the butcher when he’s nasty to miriam, his only parental figure post constance kicking him out, and then we can’t forget 3., the cop interrogating michael was beating him and michael pled for him to stop before he killed him.

     -father?  A  useless  word  he  himself  had  pled  to  the  skies.  His  usually  lax  pose  gives  pause,  straightening,  tensing  and  disappearing-  though  not  silently,  not  subtlety.  Black  birds  rush  the  other  boy  and  when  they  clear,  Michael  is  standing  before  him.  Bold  of  him,  considering  how  he’d  felt  a  singe  somewhere  within  him  from  the  other’s  outburst.

     It  isn’t  that  he  isn’t  wary-  because  he  is.  But  there’s  something  about  the  other.  He’s  familiar  in  the  sense  his  twin  had  been  familiar  (some  ghostly  sprig  of  similar-)  right  before  he’d  gobbled  him  up;  an  inadvertent  killer  from  the  start.  Father.  He’d  called  him...  Michael’s  face,  previously  broadcasting  brimming  interest  drops  and  turns  to  cold  confusion.   ‘   No-  what?   ’   The  other  boy  is  so  bright.  He  radiates  a  warmth  that  sets  Michael’s  teeth  on  edge  and  makes  him  feel  oddly  remorseful.
