Who’s that Ghoul? (Era 4)
This has most certainly been done before by quite a few people, but I still wanted to make my own version based on the ask I received about how to tell the nameless ghouls apart. Here goes!
Disclaimer: These are the names that I use to refer to the ghouls, but most of them have several fan names so I also included whichever ones I’m aware of.
AETHER GHOUL (photo source)
The beefy boi! He plays a black rhythm guitar, typically on the left side of the stage. You’ll often see him windmilling his arm, jumping off of whatever platform he can find, and raising his foot into the air to show off his balance. He wears several rings and a heavy chain bracelet. Copia thinks he’s a very fine specimen. He’s got a great positive energy and is an all-around wholesome ghoul!
CIRRUS GHOULETTE (photo source)
Also known as Tol Ghoulette, or Karen. This beauty is our keytar queen, and but she also plays regular keyboards and tambourine. The Ghoulettes are positioned in the raised section on the right side of the stage. She’s an absolute boss and I wish she could be featured more prominently (both of the Ghoulettes deserve more attention, imo)! I love her dance moves too~
CUMULUS GHOULETTE (photo source)
Also known as Smol Ghoulette, or Pam. HER VOICE IS INCREDIBLE. She also plays tambourine and keyboards, in the raised section on the right side of the stage. She has a very cute and effervescent personality on stage, often spotted making heart shapes with her hands and dancing.
EMBER GHOUL (photo source)
Also known as Fire Ghoul, or Dewdrop Ghoul. Our nasty naughty gremlin who licks his guitar picks, licks his guitar, licks his fingers, just anything within tongue range really. He plays a white lead guitar, typically on the right side of the stage, and headbangs and stomps harder than any other ghoul. also I’m hopelessly infatuated with him
MOUNTAIN GHOUL (photo source)
Also known as Earth Ghoul. It’s very difficult to get photos of him because of the stage set up, and the nature of being surrounded by drums, but he’s easily recognizable when they take their bows because he’s the tallest and he’s usually drenched in sweat from kicking asses all night long. Also he tends to not wear any shoes lol HE NEEDS MORE LOVE #MoreMountainGhoul2019
MULTI GHOUL (photo source)
Also known as Swiss Army Ghoul. Hoooowee what can’t this ghoul do. He sings (LIKE AN ANGEL), plays guitar and tambourine, and dances in ways that make us all positively swoon (Cardinal Copia included). He plays two different black guitars, but he has his own raised section on stage, to the left of the drums. Watch out for his shimmies, and when he gets on his knees and starts thrusting….. he’s going to kill us all with sexiness.
RAIN GHOUL (photo source)
Also known as Water. He plays a white bass guitar (which you can tell apart from lead guitar by looking at the tuning pegs, only 4 strings for bass). He’s the master ass wobbler, and kind of wanders all over stage. He likes to swing back and forth when he plays, and also headbangs quite a bit these days. When they’re not playing instruments, I think he has the best posture, he’s very poised and upright. He can seem shy, but I think he’s just a more subtle kind of ghoul.
