Normalize slow weekends — resting is productive.
I like to fuck around and waste time for at least ~6-10 hours per day, and let me tell you, that really puts some pressure on your schedule. you have no idea how busy I am
bf has announced it's 'kiss a dork day' and keeps kissing me in celebration but when i try to kiss HIM he holds me back and says 'no sorry I'M not a dork' and because he's bigger and stronger than me i am gaining no ground in this battle. i'm fuming
TERRIBLE NEWS woke up this morning and bf has announced it's kiss a dork day today again and showed me that he made it a reoccuring annual event on his calendar. march 13th is now my enemy
Happy March 13th to all those who celebrate
some people clearly scheduled this post to get reblogged on 13th march so the notifications helped me realise what day it was before my bf was awake so i was like hehehe this time i'll get him for sure. but no. he woke up and immediately blocked all of my attempts like fucking neo
i think this is the funniest possible image that could be used to illustrate this subject
OK FUN FACT i also thought this picture was hilarious when i encountered it a few months ago, so i was curious how it ended up on wikipedia
it turns out the uploader is in fact the woman in the photo (she's uploaded a few other pictures of herself to other articles) and she ran an extremely web 1.0 site on the topic of bondage
this was apparently a long-standing fantasy of hers and she did an entire video plus accompanying photoshoot about it, which was run in a bondage magazine in the 90s and did in fact take place on an abandoned train track. they committed to the bit hard enough that there's even a shot of the sinister villain looming over her with a big document labeled DEED and a pen
the best part is that according to this page, there were two "villains" involved (the woman's two partners, apparently), and the other one was dressed as a gorilla. sadly there are no images of the gorilla kidnapper because that sounds like. even funnier.
anyway i thought this whole thing was kinda cute, lol
Your conflict aversion isn't noble or enlightened by the way. Navigating conflict is a thing that can be done well or be done badly, and it takes practice and exposure to do it without your fight or flight response going haywire. Without that, you're going to make any conflict you're in orders of magnitude worse than it needs to be.
