I’m a Black trans man living in the conservative suburbs of Texas without a car or public transportation. I am in need of monetary help with transportation and groceries for the rest of the month as I put my efforts toward securing housing for myself and my cat out of state.
I’m asking $200 toward transportation (I use rideshare services) and $100 toward groceries. $300 total; everything helps tremendously. Thank you!

A member of my family passed this last Friday and now I need to book a train ticket to help make arrangements. The ticket is $250 for amtrak.
Please help a trans man without health insurance afford life saving medication
Hi my name is Ronnie, I'm a transgender person trying to afford my psychiatric medication and HRT. I just lost my Medicaid today because of new requirements and I'm looking at around $200-300 or more additionally this month just for meds and to see my psychiatrist until I can get coverage again August 1st. I just can't afford it and desperately need help. I have PTSD and severe depression and can be a danger to myself when off my psychiatric medication so it's appreciated if anyone can help.

I am also looking for moral support because this is such a scary time for me so feel free to send any supportive/nice messages or DMs. Im trying to stay positive.
i can't believe they let me be in charge of myself
this pride month we need to start being kinder to trans people who don’t pass. no matter what the reason is.
sometimes someone is only out online. sometimes someone is newly out. sometimes someone can’t access medical transition. sometimes medical transition isn’t a magical perfect transformation. sometimes the ambiguity of someone’s presentation is the point. many many other reasons why someone might not perfectly pass. respect is deserved regardless

"crochet can't be made by machines" went from being a cool fun fact to being a call to action of "so if you see mass manufactured crochet in Target, that was made by a person and they were underpaid and you should boycott it" which is true, it was made by a person, but EVERY item of clothing you own (that you did not purchase from a company using ethical labor) was made by a person being underpaid (at *best*.)
Sewing machines are operated by *people*. Knitting machines are operated by *people*. Yes lots of the process is automated but you cannot tell a machine "make me a t-shirt" or "make me a knit cardigan".
Higher awareness of fast fashion, and the true human labor and abuse behind it, is GREAT, but let's not pretend that the crochet hat in target is THE problem. Every article of clothing in target is the problem. "All clothes are made by people" is the jumping off point here into understanding this issue it's not just crochet it's the whole thing ahhhhHHHHHHHHHH
If you've ever seen images of sweatshops in the early 20th century, in New York or the UK or other developed countries
Guess what
Your clothing is still made in a place that looks like that. The only thing that's different is the tech level of the sewing machines and the race of the workers
as a regular donor to Gaza Soup Kitchen I get their email updates, and they said today that while they've continued to be able to expand, donations are slowing down as Gaza gets less coverage. If you have a few dollars to spare, I encourage you to send them here to continue the amazing work that Hani and his team are doing.
