it looks like i'm awake for the day again
i suppose so but i mean it is his home… i shouldn’t really be here, really i should still be cowering in a prospitian fortress hiding from jack noir but uhm mayor vagabond was very kind and offered me refuge when he heard of my predicament
yes, well, ah i was stuck here for quite a while after the war because i couldn’t find a functioning transportalizer, much less anywhere to go
That’s so good of him. He sounds like a really nice mayor!
Oh my, that’s pretty scary. We have our transporters malfunction sometimes. I can’t imagine how bad it would be getting stranded somewhere as scary as a battlefield. You must be REALLY smart about surviving!!
he is a very kind man, yes. i would probably be dead if not for his help..
it was terrifying, really....uhm i'm not smart at surviving, i've just had a small streak of good fortune is all that and i hid from my adversaries instead of fighting like i was supposed to i'm more of a coward than a soldier if i'm going to be truthful

uhm no sir renegade calls me a trespasser but i’m just a citizen here
i i lived on the battlefield before
Well then, isn’t mister renegade mean to you? ….Why would you live on a battlefield??
that's uh that's a good question,
i lived on the battlefield because i was made to be a soldier
uhm no sir renegade calls me a trespasser but i'm just a citizen here
i i lived on the battlefield before
today’s been uhm very busy for me sir renegade’s had me working all day
i’m well, though i at least have somewhere safe to stay so i can’t really complain
Oh gosh, is your boss very strict??
It’s pretty nice to be able to live somewhere safe.
er, i wouldn't say he's my boss, but he's uhm he's of a higher authority than me so i should listen to him
it is nice to feel safe finally. it's much better than where i used to live

1920/30s Dia Chirra Kukri
In its sheath, this kukri measures 44cms long from the centre of the tang to the tip of the sheath. Out it is 43cms long with a blade length of 33cms.
The hilt is of dark horn and a broad oval cross section. It it decorated in silver sheet to the pommel, mid grip and bolster. The silver to the grip and pommel show a repousse floral design.
The blade is just under 4cms at the grip and broadens to just under 6cms at the belly.
The spine is 9mm thick with a medial ridge running through to the tip. Its faces show the Dia Chirra fullers, double crescent marks and various engravings below the spine.
The sheath is timber with its original velour covering and a simple decorated silver end cap.

British 6 inch Mark VII gun at work, 1917
British Pattern 1864 Cavalry Trooper’s Sword
90cm blade by Robt Mole & Sons, Birmingham with ordnance stamps at the forte, regulation steel hilt Maltese Cross piercing, two piece chequered leather riveted grips, in its steel scabbard, two suspension rings.
British Pattern 1827 Rifle Officer’s Sword
A Rifles officer’s sword, retailed by Royal outfitter Hawkes & Co. This is a very nice quality sword, probably for regular Army rather than Rifle Volunteers, due to the quality and service sharpened blade. The hilt and scabbard were nickel plated and so are in great condition - bright and clean. The shagreen and grip wire is in top condition. The blade is in good condition with mild patination (it is the only metal part of the sword which is not nickel plated!), slightly faded etching, but mostly clear. The blade has been very much service sharpened and has a few little dings to the cutting edge. The number 1868 on the spine of the blade could indicate the year of manufacture - I would have placed this sword a little earlier than that, but 1868 is plausible. A nice sword and a good example of the type by one of Great Britain’s most illustrious outfitters (hence the Royal Warrant etched on the blade).
British Pattern 1905 Staff Sergeant’s Sword
According to Brian Robson, Swords of the British Army; “A curious hybrid pattern was introduced in July 1905 for all dismounted corps except Highland. This consisted of a cut-down Cavalry Pattern 1899 blade mated with the Pattern 1897 hilt. It can only be assumed that this makeshift design was introduced in order to make up losses in the South African War. It is doubtful if many were made or issued and in 1912 both the 1898 and 1905 patterns were modified to substitute the cypher of George V for that of Edward VII.”
