Wanted to make a quick post reminding ppl that Muriel is canonically indigenous!!! The Kokhuri tribe is heavily based off of Kazakh tribes. Living in steppes, and fabric artwork from them are specifically used in the depiction of the Kokhuri (art like this)

There's way more but I see a lot of people drawing him with very pale skin (just color pick pls 😭) and ignoring his history and it's sad bc i feel like we rarely see indigenous stories like this where the culture is very fleshed out

This isn't like the creators just slapped on something for diversity points without putting any research into it (like with Aisha's hijab), there's a lot to Muriel and his culture and their history explored and it's one of the few things in his route i REALLY love reading
