: ̗̀➛ GETTIN' HOT & STEAMY HERE ! phainon, mydei, anaxagoras, dan heng, caelus / gn! reader
it's the norm in okhema to take baths with your peers. growing closer through the intimacies of pure bodies or whatever... does that mean they're not gonna stare? of course not! not when you looks so delicious dripping wet, and especially not when they just really, really like you.
( caelus is the only open pervert; if you think about mydei is also an open pervert here, but it's not exactly perverted; oh a non-yan fic? cute— yESTER?!; chest is referred to as tits by caelus; d1ck is not explicitly said here but it should be painfully obvious in phainons part; accidental groping; some attempts at comedy; suggestive; tagging it as smut bc it's suggestive, not actual smut [if anyone knows a better tag lmk]; anaxagoras was rushed i JUST realized i didnt write his part )
⤻ CAELUS
Woah. Tits.
Caelus reaches out and takes a long sip from the glass of ambrosia he’s been served in the bath, not even trying to hide his shamelessly probing eyes. Like always, he had entered the baths without much grace and poise, only hoping to ease Dan Heng’s nagging about his hygiene. After cannonballing into the bath, it was only a surprised yelp that made him realize that another person— you, staring wide-eyed and red at him— was in the bath with him.
Tactless as he is, he waved hello to you and made himself welcome. You could only sigh and relent.
But you didn’t take the stoic trailblazer to be a shameless pervert. Admittedly, his stare is different from the normal old perverts, looking at your chest with blank eyes instead of those lustful ones. Still, staring is staring, and you pout at him and sink into the waters to hide your body. “You’re staring too much!” You snap at him. You hope the bath waters hide your red face.
“You’re staring at me too,” he replies, blunt as ever. Not even a hint of smugness. Just simply stating the facts like he always does. “We’re staring at each other.” He makes an OK sign with both hands. “Win-win.”
“Not win-win!” You huff. “You’re not even trying to hide it!”
Now he smiles, flipping his gray hair extravagantly and letting out a haughty ‘ha-ha!’. “The Galactic Baseballer needs not hide their desires. Whatever they want, they take. For that is the way of the Trailblaze, and most importantly, the way of the— ooghf.” You throw a towel his way and send him under the water. What the hell did you expect from this idiot?
He resurfaces with a dramatic gasp of air, before shaking his hair and getting the droplets everywhere like a dog. He’s back to staring, head halfway in the water as he inches closer and closer to you. You give him a deadpan look and whack his head with the towel again, but he’s now unswayed by the barrage of attacks. The two of you continue this for a while, until Caelus is now head to… chest with you. He is silent, as if contemplating something, before his big ass mouth opens.
“Can I hold ‘em?”
You whack him. “In your dreams.”
He sighs dramatically, flopping into the bath waters and floating miserably. “But I like tits,” he whines. “I like your tits.”
“I hope that Stellaron inside you explodes.”
⤻ PHAINON.
He really shouldn’t be taking advantage of your trust, not when you so willingly invited him to bathe together. And yet he can’t help sneaking glances at your dripping figure every now and then, hoping that the steam would somewhat hide his perverse intentions.
“Phainon?” Your sweet voice calls out to him, and he startles. He looks at you, beet-red, and you cock your head. “Oh, poor thing. Is the bath getting to you? You’re all red!” You reach out a hand to feel his forehead, but he instinctively jolts away from your touch, like a sinner afraid to taint the sister. Your body is now noticeably closer, and Phainon doesn’t want to know if that new heat he’s feeling is from the water, your body, or a psychological defect.
“I’m okay, really,” he reassures you, smiling awkwardly all the while. “Probably just the steam, but I’ve handled hotter with Mydei.” He shoots you a grin, but you don’t seem to buy it.
“You sure?” You press. He thinks the way your brows scrunch and those eyes turned downward in worry is so cute, but he has to suppress that urge to bring you into a cuteness-aggression-induced hug and look away. He reassures you again, this time more mumbled and half-hearted, sinking into the water as if to baptize himself anew. You look at his strange behavior worriedly. “I’m not… I’m not being a bother, am I?”
He shoots out of the water, making you yelp when he gets water all over you. “Not at all!” He near-shouts in your face. His muscled hands, carved and sculpted like fine marble, have grabbed you by the shoulders. His wide blue eyes look at you in both disbelief and panic. “You could never— I would never think—! You’re– You’re not a bother at all!”
“O-Oh,” you squeak, taken aback by his eruption and by… something. “Th– That’s a relief, then…!”
Phainon continues rambling. “In fact, you couldn’t believe how ecstatic I was when you invited me into the bath. I mean, I know that sounds wrong, but I’ve been wanting to get closer to you, and I thought this was finally my chance! And I know this sounds so bizarre, but I really, really appreciate everything you’ve done for me and the rest of the Chrysos Heirs and—”
“Phainon…!”
“ — And I know Mydei, and I take up your time cleaning up after us ‘cause we’re both stupid, but you have no idea how happy it makes me knowing you’re there to look after us. It’s not like I want you to babysit us or anything, but the thought of someone caring for us is just nice, you know? So I really wanted to take the time to thank you, but you’ve been making me so flustered that I—”
“Ph– Phainon!”
You seem to startle him back to his senses, and he blinks down at you. It was only then that he realized the softness of your tender skin cupped in both of his palms, and he stumbled back, murmuring apologies for hurting you. That doesn’t seem to be the problem, not when you cover your blushing face with your newly freed arms. He looks down at you in confusion… before he realizes the very problem hanging out right in front of you both. And chubbing up… slowly, in front of your face. Now thoroughly mortified, he plops back down in the bath with the same beet-red face from before.
Silence ensues. Only the monotonous rush of water and the deafening stillness could be heard. “I– I’m sorry,” he mutters. Maybe if he proves how genuine he is, you won’t call HR on him.
“D– Don’t be,” you mumble back. You curl a strand of wet hair around your finger, absentmindedly playing with it as you try to look everywhere but him. The glistening droplets shine like dew on your skin, and the steam frames you like a halo, and so even in the face of his depravity, you still seem like a cherub more than anything. You offer him a crooked grin.
⤻ MYDEI
The nakedness of the bare flesh isn’t something that can move the Prince of Castrum Kremnos. He’s had men and women slip into his chambers, try to tempt him by stripping themselves of their flimsy chitons, and receive nothing but a cold lookover from him. During his days as a wandering general, he had followers dropping themselves at his feet just to have a chance to carry his heir. Nothing.
Looking at you now, skin supple and tender from the heat of the baths, he feels something carnal stirring within him. He’s no prude; he knows this feeling, but frustration seems to also cloud his thoughts as you lounge across him with a lazy grin.
“Don’t you think you’re staring too much, your Highness?” You tease. Your back is arched in a way that can only be intended to seduce, naked chest covered with only a thin layer of steam. “Keep doing that, and I’ll tell your people what a perv their future King is.”
He won’t let himself be goaded by such cheap teasing. He scoffs and mirrors your languid posture, looking kingly and regal in these baths. “If a cup of wine is presented before me, should I not partake in its sweetness? Don’t try to act the fool; it’s not very befitting.”
“Wise and responsible rulers know not to inebriate themselves in front of their people.”
“A good thing that there’s only you and me in these waters, then,” he hums. He crooks his finger at you. “Come hither, you tempter. If you plan on acting like a harlot, you might as well do it where I can properly see you.”
You know challenging the prince would be no easy task, but you didn’t think that he would use your own brazenness against you. At the open provocation, you find yourself wanting to cover up your body and sink beneath the water. To hide where his gaze does not touch. But you can’t bring yourself to disobey the demands of royalty, so you slowly wade your way to his side.
He swipes the strand of hair sticking to your forehead, smirking when you try not to meet his gaze. “What’s wrong?” His huffed laugh, rare yet warm, sends something warm through your body. “Not so cheeky now, are we?”
You pout. You want to act coy, try to act coy— it’s too soon to concede defeat— but you feel like you’re failing when you shudder at his touch. “Anyone would be embarrassed when someone stares at them the way you do,” you huff. “You trying to burn a hole through me?”
“I’m not such a brute that I don’t know how to enjoy the luxuries of life.” From your cheekbones to your collarbone, every teasing touch is poised to further edge you on. His Highness seems to enjoy having the tables turned on you as he watches you squirm, rough hand clamped around your plush waist to ensure your entrapment. “In case you forgot, you’re the one who offered yourself up to me.”
⤻ DAN HENG
For the most part, Dan Heng is doing a pretty good job of composing himself. You thought that he’d sneak some glances or not look at all, but Dan Heng holds a conversation with you normally, like you’re not naked under all this steam and water. You grumble and kick water his way.
Startled from his tranquil relaxation, Dan Heng stares at you questioningly. You kick another wave in his face. In response, he clasps both hands and expertly squirts water in your face. You cough and splutter. “What’s gotten into you?” He asks, watching you recover from the attack. “Why’re you suddenly angry?”
You sigh like the lead heroine in dramas, posed dramatically on their bed as they’re about to announce their life-threatening illness. “Do you think I’m attractive, Dan Heng? Do you think my body is not something to be ogled at?”
He raises a brow. “I do, yes.” You stare at him expectantly, but he adds nothing else and instead doubles down on the quizzical look. “What exactly do you want to hear?”
You double down on the glare. “I want to know why the hell you’re not looking at me!”
“Looking at what?”
The quick response has you opening and closing your mouth like a fish, before you settle down and purse your lips together. Looking at what, this hot and sexy dragon says from across you. Like he doesn’t know how to deal with pining love interests. You’ll show him. Without a warning, you scoot over to his side of the baths as elegantly as one can scoot, feigning nonchalance as his eyes follow you.
“What are you doing?” He says, once you’ve made yourself comfortable.
“What do you think I’m doing?”
He hums. Huh, he’s actually thinking about it. You sigh in frustration when he takes an absurdly long time to answer only to shrug at you. You swear, you’re gonna kill this dude. “You’re hopeless, Imbibitor Lunae,” you grump. In a bold move driven by impatience and frustration, you take his arm and let it drape over your shoulder. You sigh in satisfaction and take a peek at him. His expression is frozen.
“...? Dan Heng? Dan Heeeeng.” You poke his cheek. You tilt your head when you elicit no reaction from him. “What? Is this some prank or something? Cut it out.”
“N– No,” he coughs and looks away from you, the tips of his ear burning red. “I, er, I think I should be getting out—”
“Nooo way, mister!” You pout. “All this seducing and then you suddenly bail on me without letting me know why? What’s up, what did I…” His biceps around you, then his fingers, flinch as you move your body again. Then you feel it— the brush of rough fingers against your… your…
Your face looks like it’s about to explode with how red you’re getting. Dan Heng is staring at his own hands in shock, as if in disbelief of what he has just done. He quickly pulls away, flexing his fingers in a disastrous attempt to not replicate the feeling of your chest in his hand. To his chagrin, they do another cupping motion as if they could still feel the supple flesh around them. He chokes and hopes you don’t see it. He sees your eyes focusing on his hand and he quickly submerges himself in the hot spring’s waters in some attempt to boil the impure thoughts out of his mind.
You wait for a few moments. Nothing comes back up except for a few bubbles.
“Dan Heng? Dan Heng?! You’re going to drown like that!”
⤻ ANAXAGORAS
“Um, professor…?” Your meek voice echoes around the limestone walls, making you keenly aware of your shared solitude with the green-haired blasphemer across you. The steam barely covers your half not submerged by water, and you wonder if it’s the embarrassment or the heat that’s making you flush. “You’re, uh… Is there a problem…?”
Anaxagoras remains unmoved, sole eye still fixated on the spillage of your chest. It’s a playful thing, fluidly moving with your every squirm. There are times when very sliiightly he can see your areola peeking out from the water, only for it to hide back in the water again. His gaze seems to unknowingly harden every time it does that, but you don’t know that he’s taking a peek at your chest nor does he know what expression he has. In the end, all this makes you feel like you’re getting ready for an oral examination with the professor.
Another call of his name finally has him snapped out from his tit-induced stupor, and he schools his expression into his normal stoic one as he finally heeds you. “You’re awfully self-conscious for someone who barged into my baths. If the baths do anything other than its intended effect of relaxation, mayhaps I suggest you to do yourself a favor and leave?”
“Uh, no, I– I like it here,” you squeak out, flailing your arms in a meager attempt to show that you’re relaxed. “I’m relaxed! Yes! And…” A shy, sweet smile graces your lips when you avert your gaze from him. “I– I’m happy to be sharing the baths with my favorite professor…! I always wanted to get closer to you, so…”
The sentiment should be touching, really. But that pretty expression on his favorite students face rouses something else aside from his emotions.
As the conversation drifts back to silence, the sound of something heavy dropping ruins the peaceful atmosphere of the Okhema baths. Easily surprised as you are, you jolt up with a squeak, head frantically turning right to left as you try to find the disturbance. A sheepish sorry calls out from another bath down the hall and that makes you momentarily relax, until you turn around and—
“Oh my,” Anaxa coolly comments, doing nothing to hide the way his gaze snakes down from your chest down to the rest of your body. You let out a mortified cry as you quickly drop down to the floor, splashing the warm water all over your professor. You open your mouth as your mind scrambles to form out an apology, but Anaxagoras breaks your thoughts as he leans back with an amused look.
“As much as I hate to frequent Okhema, much less its baths, I may have to consider visiting regularly if all my baths put on a show as entertaining as yours,” he says, finally meeting your gaze for the first time since you entered that bath. “Did you come here seeking for extra credit from your professor?”
“No, no, no!” You frantically shake your head as you try to reestablish your good reputation and dignity. “I didn’t—! I walked here on accident! I didn’t, I wasn’t even— oh my Titans— professor, I’m not seeking anything. I– I can leave if you want!”
“Oh, please do,” he says, gesturing to the towel that you’ve left far from your current reach. His sole eye glimmers with the same crude amusement dancing on his lips. “If you’re looking for another extra credit, by all means, leave this bath.”
⸺ ⟢ synopsis. jing yuan isn’t a fan of early mornings, and you’re not a fan of heat waves. though perhaps you can both come to an agreement.
pairing. jing yuan x fem! reader | wc. 1.4k words | genres. smut. minors do not interact. | warnings. cock warming. a little sweat mention but it’s not particularly in a kink way. a little lighthearted teasing. idk why it’s taken me so long to write something like this given the current weather. he refers to you as “my dear.” | return to masterlist.
⸺ ⟢ notes. this is your reminder to keep cool, wear spf + drink water if you’re currently suffering like i am ☀️
It had been hot these past few days.
The temperature has made it feel entirely impossible to get any rest at night considering the lack of a breeze coming in through your propped open bedroom window, and it’s definitely not made any better by the huge furnace of a man that was currently pressed up against you either.
Jing Yuan was a cuddler. Terribly so. Usually you wouldn’t be one to complain about it, but when it’s 4am and you’re woken up by the uncomfortable feeling of sweat pooling on your skin from where he’s holding you close to himself, it makes it hard to ignore it.
You blink groggily into the darkness of your bedroom as you wake up for probably the nth time, shifting a little with a movement that emphasises the way the back of your pyjama shirt is completely soaked with sweat, and the realisation is enough to make you cringe.
The flimsy fabric is sandwiched between your own skin and that of Jing Yuan’s broad, warm chest from where he’s got you pressed against it. And following that up with another shift to try and earn yourself some distance, and air, only seems to bring your attention to just how tight he’s got you.
It’s not all that surprising, you’re the first person to know that Jing Yuan’s muscles aren’t all for show, but when they’re the only thing coming between you and some much needed sleep after a long day, you find yourself cursing them anyway.
You struggle against his arms again, trying to move softly as to not wake up the slumbering general behind you— but enough to try and peel his biceps from where they’re hugging around your waist. But even this slight movement is making you feel even hotter, and with every passing second where your body temperature feels like it’s slowly rising— you find yourself getting more frustrated.
You kick your feet a bit, shoving the last of the forsaken comforter off of your legs in a desperate attempt to get more of a breeze. But when your attempts only seem to end in vain and you stop struggling, you swear Jing Yuan’s grip on you only appears to have gotten tighter.
A voice from behind is the only thing that stops you from thwacking him over the head.
“Come now, leaving so soon?” Jing Yuan hums, his voice a waking rumble in his chest as he shifts in the space behind you. “Surely it’s far too early for even you to start the day.”
“Let go off me, it’s too hot.” You huff, emphasising your words with another attempt to get out of his hold. “You’re not making it any better.”
Jing Yuan gives your waist a squeeze.
“Is that so?”
“Be serious, am I the only one sweating? You’re like a human furnace.”
The mattress appears to shift for a moment, and you’re sure if you had your eyes on the general right now he’d have shrugged. “A small price to pay.” His voice follows, proving you right with his smug response. “I find I sleep much better that way.”
“Well, I must tell you you’re alone in that regard.”
You try to shove an elbow back in rebellion, but when it’s met with a hard wall of Jing Yuan’s muscles and a slow, sleepy chuckle from the man behind you; you assume he couldn’t have felt it as anymore than a tickle.
“You wound me.” He breathes against your skin, making you shudder as he tucks you in closer. “Your feeble attempt to escape is noted but ultimately denied.”
“You’re torturing me here.”
“Torturing you, hm?” Jing Yuan murmurs, stroking his thumb beneath the damp fabric of your shirt. “Is that truly how one would refer to their current position?”
You lose your focus on how warm you are when Jing Yuan’s words are followed by his strong biceps pulling you closer to his bare chest, the movement allowing you to feel the way his cock is already hard and aching against your lower back.
His lips press just short of your ear now, tresses of white hair falling along your face as he presses you into the pillows.
“I have a few other terms in mind that you may find much more fitting.” His breath against your skin makes you shudder. “And you’re not exactly making it easy for me, are you? With all of your movements. I would consider you quite calculated, my dear.”
It’s almost involuntary the way you grind your hips back to meet him.
You find yourself wiggling yourself towards him, clutching at his forearm and despite the way you’re sweating against his form— his skin is warm and grounding. His fingers finally slide beneath the fabric of your shirt, and he digs his hands into the supple skin of your hips to keep you in place when he grinds up against you again.
“I’m sweaty though.” You murmur, pressing yourself back hard against Jing Yuan.
He’s busy pressing kisses down the length of your neck, the warmth of his hands only leaving your skin in favour of shoving down his boxers. “Is that supposed to deter me?”
“I of all people know nothing deters you, Jing Yuan.” You throw a half-lidded look over your shoulder. “Though I must admit you have a way of convincing people.”
His chuckle is a slow release, accompanied by his aching cock springing free behind you and smearing beads of precum along the skin of your thighs when you grind back to meet it.
“I have years of negotiations beneath my belt, my dear.” Jing Yuan reminds before his hands return to your skin, and in one smooth motion he lifts up your thighs enough to pull your damp panties to the side. “Though I would consider this one to be amongst the utmost important.”
Jing Yuan’s lips are back against your ear before the press of his aching cock slides its way through your glistening folds. It’s followed by a slow, languid roll of his hips as the heavy shaft drags along the glistening slick of your pussy, soaking him to the base as the blunt head catches on the hood of your clit and it’s gentle enough to make you twitch.
Your head drops back against Jing Yuan’s chest, and you spread your thighs wider when he pulls you back again. His cock presses against your tight hole now and your voice appears to catch in your throat. “I don’t think Fu Xuan will be happy to hear you take this more seriously than your duties.”
That makes him chuckle again, but he doesn’t respond immediately— too busy placing a few open-mouthed kisses along the dip of your shoulder before he’s suddenly sinking up into you.
“Perhaps it’s best we don’t tell her this one, hm?”
It’s all so lazy but deliberate, the way Jing Yuan groans against your throat while one of his hands move to rub soothing, slow circles into your clit as your pussy clenches around him. Accompanied by the stuffy heat in your bedroom, and how deep he already feels, you feel dizzy and full— arching back against him as you attempt to take even more into your flexing walls.
Until you feel him glide past the soft spot that makes your whole body twitch, and you manage a weak, dreamy whine when he eventually bottoms out. His heavy balls press tight against your ass, and when your pussy flexes again— you suddenly find it easier to ignore the wet press of your back against the general’s chest.
You feel Jing Yuan’s jaw clench when you relax against his body once more, feeling his large, warm palm return to its place beneath your shirt as he takes a slow handful of your breast. A thin layer of sweat meets him there, but instead of cringing away— it appears to allow the soft, lazy back and forth swipe of his thumb over your nipple to feel that much more gentle.
“Shall I consider this negotiation a success then, my dear?” Jing Yuan asks after a moment, his voice sounding much more dazed from where he now rests.
And if you didn’t find yourself equal parts full and comfy all of a sudden, you would surely find that previous fire to thwack him would come back.
But instead you wiggle your hips a bit more, enough to make Jing Yuan’s cock throb from where he’s pressing up against your walls and when it’s enough to make him take a sharp breath. You consider that a victory in itself.
“Atleast offer me a fan to cool down next time.” You tease before settling down again, eyes fluttering with sleep.
“Oh, I am sure that would be no trouble at all.” He responds in kind, his voice rougher with drowsiness but still as sly. “You need only ask.”

Shikamaru
The living room of the Nara compound was littered with paper scraps and string. Everything had to be perfect for Shikaku's birthday.
You decided to take matters into your own hands when Yoshino mentioned she was twice as busy handling the preparations. It didn't take long for you to drag Shikamaru into the mess, too. While you were ecstatic, he couldn't stop complaining about how troublesome it all was.
Now, you were standing on a wooden dining chair. You tried to stretch a birthday banner across the wide window frame. Shikamaru stood a few feet away, holding the opposite end of the heavy paper. The late afternoon sun filtered through the glass, highlighting the dust motes in the air.
You tried to pull a piece of tape from the roll. The adhesive caught on the plastic backing, twisting over itself into a useless, sticky knot.
Oh no!
You froze. Your fingers scrambled to peel it apart, but the more you pulled, the worse it tore. Your chest tightened. The air suddenly felt painfully thin. You were taking too long.
No!
No!
The Nara heir hates effort. He views inefficiency as a personal insult and a direct disruption of his peace.
In your experience, when a task takes too long, patience snaps. Heavy sighs always turn into sharp reprimands.
You braced your shoulders, staring at the ruined tape. The words “I’m sorry, I’m sorry” were already pooling on your tongue like a reflex. Guilt washed over you for absolutely no reason at all. The floorboards creaked. You shut your eyes.
Please, no!
You were not sure what to expect. Harsh words. A slap. Maybe a heavy tug on your arm, dragging you down the chair. Except none of it ever came.
He didn't rip the roll from your hands. He didn't yell or snap. He stepped into your space, bringing the faint scent of pine needles and woodsmoke. It had been your absolute favorite scent ever since meeting him. His posture was slouched, entirely devoid of the rigid tension you expected. He reached out, his fingers gently intercepting yours to stop your frantic picking.
The terror of the waiting was entirely undone by the gentleness of his hands.
"Your end is backward," he murmured. His voice was flat, completely stripped of any sharp edge.
He peeled a fresh piece of tape with his thumb and pressed the corner of the banner to the wall. "Hold that side up. I'll pin this one."
He stepped back and admired the work. "I think we are done and ready for a well-deserved break." He gave you a wink and lightly caressed the small of your back before focusing on the finished banner up on the wall.
You spent your entire life apologizing for taking up too much space. But the man who found the whole world troublesome never once made you feel like a burden.
Naruto
Training with Naruto was always fun and full of surprises. At first, you could barely keep up with his endless energy. After a while, you adapted in your own way. It became a routine to spend the rest of the night together after training.
Tonight, the chosen estate was Naruto's. The hot meal you cooked was exactly what both of you needed to replenish your bodies. It was easier than you thought to drag Naruto away from the ramen stands and prepare him a cozy, homemade meal.
He loved it. He was always deeply grateful for your hard work, whether at home or on the training grounds.
The evening had been quiet so far. You were standing at the kitchen sink, up to your elbows in soap suds after finishing dinner. The streetlights outside cast long shadows across the tile floor. The villagers were almost all inside by now.
Lost in the view of the big kitchen window, you reached for a wet ceramic plate to place on the drying rack. It slipped from your soapy fingers.
Please don't break!
It shattered against the kitchen tile. The sharp crack echoed off the walls like a gunshot. Your first instinct was to freeze. You analyzed the scene as if you had just committed a very serious crime.
NO!
You hit the floor before the final pieces even settled. You dropped to your knees, your hands hovering over the jagged edges as you tried to sweep them into a pile.
Naruto, please don't come in here!
Your mind was spiraling. Your breath turned frantic. You grew up being yelled at and punished for being clumsy. Your face started to burn, the physical sensation of past punishments rushing back.
It stings. It burns. It hurts.
The harsh words echoed in your ears as if your past was standing next to you, screaming in your face.
How could you ever want to become something if you are always embarrassing our clan?
Heavy footsteps approached the doorway. Your pulse hammered violently against your ribs.
Naruto is loud. He has a booming voice and houses a destructive, overwhelming power beneath his skin.
Loud men are dangerous men when you are clumsy.
You shrank inward, pulling your shoulders up to your ears. You waited for the booming shout about your carelessness. His shadow fell over you. The footsteps stopped. Naruto dropped to his knees. He moved with a deliberate, terrifying quiet.
His calloused hand shot out, catching your wrist mid-air before your bare fingers could graze a sharp sliver of ceramic.
"Hey, careful, don't touch it," he said softly. His voice was a grounded whisper. It was something incredibly rare from Naruto.
He didn't look angry. He looked at your shaking hands with pure worry instead. He kicked a larger piece aside with his bare heel, shielding your knees from the mess. "You'll bleed if you touch ‘em."
He gave you a reassuring smile. "I always hated these plates anyway, they're too heavy, you know Grab the broom, I'll get the trash."
You dropped glass and waited for the shouting to shatter whatever was left of you. Instead, the loudest man in the village dropped to his knees and taught you how to whisper.
Kakashi
The storm outside had been beating against the living room window for an hour. It was the perfect weather for a weekend inside.
Kakashi had some business to take care of today, so you weren't expecting him back soon. You were curled up on the corner of the couch with a heavy blanket over your knees.
The house was supposed to be empty. You flipped a page, the paper rustling in the quiet room. You were devouring each page as the story progressed.
Suddenly, a shadow shifted near the hallway. It was almost too fast for you to even comprehend the movement. Kakashi had not made a single sound. He simply appeared, the faint scent of rain clinging to his green flak jacket.
The spine of your book hit the floorboards with a dull thud. You flinched so violently your shoulder blades crashed into the couch.
Your chest heaved as you stared wide-eyed at the doorway. Your heart was beating so fast you'd think an enemy was holding a kunai directly to your neck.
Your throat clicked as you swallowed hard. As your eyes adjusted, your nervous system finally realized you weren't in a run-or-die situation.
Damn it!
Growing up, you always sought out moments of your own. Sometimes, you'd be near a river chanting a song without a care in the world.
Other times, you'd be in your room pacing around and dreaming of your future. Every time, without a doubt, someone would barge in and look at you like you were stupid, shaming you for being useless to your clan. You spent your whole life shrinking your joy to fit into a tiny box so no one would punish you for being vulnerable.
Kakashi is an elite ex-ANBU. To men like him, weakness is a liability and skittishness is a flaw. Seeing you so frightened took you back to the days you felt embarrassed to be in your own skin.
You pressed your back harder into the couch, convinced he found your terrified reaction pathetic. Kakashi froze. His single visible eye dropped to the fallen book, then tracked the frantic rise and fall of your chest.
The silence stretched, but he didn't point out your panic. He didn't offer hollow comfort, because words wouldn't fix the instinct. He picked up the book, headed in your direction, and handed it back to you.
His eye lit up softly. The next thing you knew, his hand was on your cheek, gently caressing your skin. He planted a kiss on the back of your hand. Kakashi's actions always touched you before any words ever came out of his mouth.
The next evening, the front door shut with a very heavy, metallic clank. You heard the deliberate, dragging scuff of his sandals down the hallway.
Kakashi was being loud on purpose so you’d be prepared. Before stepping into the doorway, he tapped his knuckles twice against the wood frame.
"Hmm, floorboards are getting creaky, don't you think?" he stated casually, leaning against the doorjamb. "Remind me to fix those tomorrow, love.” He winked at you. You offered him a gentle smile before getting swept perfectly into his embrace.
You spent your life fearing the monsters that crept up in the quiet. Now, the man who was born in the shadows started knocking on doorframes just to prove he wasn't one of them.
Itachi
The afternoon sun spilled across the low wooden table in the study. After getting together with Itachi, your days were suddenly filled with a soft stillness.
You never imagined that a man like him could create or maintain a peace like this. Ever since you grew closer, Itachi showed you nothing but pure patience.
You had prepared a fresh pot of green tea. You carefully brought the wooden tray in while Itachi sat cross-legged on the floor. He was entirely focused on a sprawling parchment scroll spread out before him. You always loved watching him exist in his own space.
His concentration was absolute. Itachi moved with a quiet, lethal grace. Every action was executed so flawlessly that even mundane things became breathtaking. You knelt beside the table and poured the hot liquid into a small porcelain cup.
You were completely lost in your thoughts about the man sitting in front of you. Your hand shook just a fraction of an inch. The teacup tipped. Scalding green liquid bled across the low wooden table, soaking directly into the edges of the open scroll.
Too clumsy! Are you even smart enough to do something on your own?
The thought slammed into your mind. The harsh voices of your past echoed loudly, ready to blame you. "I'm so sorry," the words rushed out of you in a blind panic. You grabbed a cloth, scrubbing uselessly at the ruined parchment.
"I'm stupid, I'm sorry, I'll fix it immediately." Your breathing turned jagged.
Itachi is a prodigy. He is a perfectionist who carries the weight of his clan on his shoulders. He was the Uchiha's golden child. Graduating at seven, he became an Anbu leader at thirteen. Mistakes feel catastrophic in his presence.
You waited for the cold dismissal and the heavy disappointment. You waited for the quiet fury of a man interrupted. You squeezed your eyes shut, bracing for the heavy sting of a palm against your cheek. Memories dragged you back to your old life.
You remembered being punished so fiercely that your eyes would be swollen shut before the week was even halfway over. But the strike never came.
A pale hand entered your vision. You almost flinched. But before you could, his fingers wrapped loosely around your wrist, physically stopping your frantic scrubbing. He didn't grip tight enough to trap you.
He held you just enough to let his thumb rest against your racing pulse point. He calmly rolled the damp scroll with his free hand and set it aside on the dry wood.
His thumb began caressing your wrist. He brushed against your skin softly enough to make you want to melt right there on the floorboards.
"The ink was already dry," he said.
His tone was perfectly even, betraying nothing. You looked up at him, fully expecting fury. Instead, his dark eyes searched yours without a single hint of anger. There was only a quiet, heavy worry reflecting back at you.
He guided your hand away from the table. His gaze dropped to the red flush on your knuckles. "Come. Let's run your hand under the cold tap," he murmured, his voice softening into something devastatingly gentle. "The tea was boiling, my love."
You built a shrine out of your own apologies, terrified of the ruin your clumsy hands might cause. But Itachi just guided you away from the wreckage and asked if you were burnt.
Tobirama
The Senju compound courtyard was bustling with afternoon activity. Children played and families celebrated life, sitting together under the sun.
You loved every second of these tranquil days. You always wanted to make yourself useful to the clan that had become your home. The clan that accepted you with open arms from day one.
Today, you had insisted on carrying the latest shipment of medical supplies yourself. Tobirama walked right beside you, holding nothing but his perfect posture and some lighter bags.
The wooden crate you carried was heavy, really heavy. The rough grain dug into your palms as you navigated the dirt pathway. Your hands sweating faster than you could anticipate.
Your grip slipped. The wooden crate crashed into the dirt, splitting at the corner and spilling heavy supply pouches everywhere. Dust coated your shins.
You scrambled to your knees, your face burning with shame as you tried to shove the heavy pouches back inside.
How could I be so clumsy? Why can't I do something right for once?
Tobirama was stern, demanding, and valued efficiency above all else. Inefficiency usually angered men like him. You braced yourself for the harsh lecture about knowing your physical limits. The crunch of his boots stopped right beside you.
The sound echoed in your ears, dragging you back to a place you swore you'd never return to. You had learned to identify a person by the sound of their steps, knowing a scream was coming because you’d failed again.
But Tobirama didn't sigh. He didn't reprimand you. He knelt directly into the dirt, ignoring the dust settling over his pristine armor. He reached past you, hoisting the broken crate effortlessly onto his own shoulder.
When he stood, he didn't resume his grueling, fast-paced stride. He waited. He matched his pace exactly to yours, walking slow enough that you weren't struggling to keep up.
"The handles on these crates are poorly designed," he muttered, his crimson eyes fixed straight ahead on the path. "Please, take the lighter bags."
You thought asking for help was a death sentence. Tobirama looked at your bruised hands and showed you how to survive together.
Neji
The clock in the kitchen had just chimed 2 AM. The entire Hyuga estate was draped in heavy silence. You stood barefoot on the cold wooden floor of the front entryway, staring at the brass deadbolt. You couldn't sleep until you had checked if the doors were locked.
You couldn't sleep peacefully, even next to Neji. Even if he was always holding you close to his body, his grip gentle but tight enough to remind you there was no need to fear the dark anymore.
Having freshly escaped a household where your door would swing open without warning, the silence felt like a threat. Your privacy was a luxury you could never afford.
You'd always stare at the doors when you were in a room, waiting for someone to barge in and disrupt your quiet moments. You pushed the lock into place, feeling the metal click under your fingers for the fourth time.
One more time. I need to ensure no one will invade my space anymore.
You turned around after hearing footsteps. Neji stood at the end of the dark hallway, his long hair resting over his shoulders. Your stomach dropped in shame.
He was a Hyuga; his eyes saw everything. You assumed he found your late-night paranoia insulting. You thought it was a slight against his ability to protect you.
Neji looked at your hand, still hovering near the brass lock. He didn't tell you to go back to bed immediately. He didn't call you irrational. He simply closed his eyes and wove a single hand sign.
“Byakugan.”
The thick veins bulged near his temples. The Byakugan pierced the walls, scanning the dark perimeter of the property for miles.
You watched his chest expand as he held the jutsu. He allowed himself to see every leaf, every shadow, and every heartbeat in the distance.
The veins slowly receded. He met your gaze in the dim light. "Three miles clear," he said quietly, his voice a low anchor in the dark. It was the only voice you trusted in the shadows.
"The back latch is secure. Every window is locked, too."
He made his way toward you, walking as if he were floating. His presence was always calculated, leaving no room for mistakes. "Come, my love. It's late, and I miss you in our bed."
He put his hand on top of yours, easing your grip from the latch. He slowly pulled you towards him as he started to make his way back to your shared room. You followed, knowing you were finally allowed to break down the walls you built around yourself.
You expected to be called insane for fearing the shadows in your own home. Instead, Neji tore the darkness apart with his own eyes just to prove the monsters weren't real.

🍓It's finished. I know this took a while for me to get out, but I promise you I was working super hard on it. I am really proud of this. I had so much fun writing it. My only worry is that Olly's dialogue is clunky, and the conversations don't flow well together... I do apologize for not making this gender neutral. I had a difficult time bringing it together with what I was picturing. I can make a second version with a male reader/gn reader if that is in demand. This is it, though! I do hope that you all like it. Much love <3

Wouldn’t it be funny, you thought, to try and rock the boat? Just a little. Not so much that it tipped over, but enough that you got a little splashing. A silly little idea. Harmless, you felt. Just to see. To watch how they reacted.
It started just before noon, helping Qifrey in the kitchen. His hands were delicate and steady, so sure of themselves as he carefully pulled the blaze beans from their pod. A sweeter flavor for this month's stock, it seems. You were supposed to be focusing on slicing up some vegetables, but the little game you were unwittingly pulling your beloved into was more exciting than that.
Quietly, you stepped over to his side, just close enough that you were invading his space, not so close that you were blocking his way. You can see the way his lips quirk in amusement, and it fills you with excitement, “Aren’t you supposed to be chopping?”
“I’ve found myself… distracted,” you hum back, not hiding the heat in your tone.
You take note how he glances over the room before he responds, ensuring no little ears are about to hear such adult implications, “...have you now? That won’t do in a kitchen.”
“Certainly not,” you round to the other side of him, drawing your fingers between his shoulder blades as you do, “see, the way you move your hands always catches my eyes. So precise and delicate.”
“Mmm.” He hums back, separating another pod with the gentleness he normally handles you with. Carefully pulling the beans from the spot they rest in with the slightest, precise wiggle. Show off.
“I can’t help it,” you sigh at last, leaning into his space, head resting on his shoulder. The little smirk you couldn’t hide was warning enough of your plan, but Qifrey still leaned in just a bit closer, horribly weak to your displays of intimacy, “they remind me of Olruggio.”
His hands pause, only for a moment, but long enough to tell you you’d been successful, “Olruggio…?”
“He’s fantastic with his hands, you know,” you sigh, “too bad he’s busy now, else I might’ve sought him out.”
You remove yourself from him at once, returning to your spot from before and beginning your work, slicing and dicing. He blinks owlishly at you from his spot, eye wide, “Are you–”
“Master Qifrey!” Agott called from across the room, leaned out of her doorway just enough, “Coco broke something again.”
“I’m sorry!” the mousy girl squeaks from inside their room.
Qifrey smiles, shaking off both their concern and the odd tension you’d built up in his shoulders, “It’s alright, nothing we can’t fix, I’m sure.”
“I’ll take over for you,” you assure, patting his shoulder gently for added effect. If it does anything to shake him, he doesn’t show it.
—
Your little game continues in the mid-afternoon, bored out of your mind with Qifrey preoccupied with the young apprentices. It was something you could have stepped in and helped with, but Qifrey insisted you step back and relax. Something like ‘you’ll need the energy.’ Whatever that meant.
So, despite knowing better, you decide the only option is to pester Olruggio for a little while. Kicking off phase two of your plan would be difficult without him, of course. So, you crept through the hallway to his room, ignoring the warning sign, and stepped into the dank, dark dungeon he called home.
You let the door close behind you, and almost immediately his voice calls, “Better be good, else I won’t be in a good mood.”
“You’re never in a good mood,” you grumble back, already floating up to the little nook he works at.
His desk is a mess, as it always is. As he is, clearly having been tugging at his hair and flailing about, coming up with this new contraption of his. You land at his side, leaning over his shoulder in curiosity. You don’t get a good look, he swats you away before you can, and you stumble back into his hammock without fanfare.
“‘Re you here to bother me, or are you going to behave yerself,” he frowns over his shoulder while you make yourself comfortable in his bed.
The hammock is always more comfortable than you remember it being, such a shame he never gets any good use of it, “I’m behaving, I’m behaving. Just thought you could use the company.”
“Well, I don’t,” he hisses, but makes no move to kick you out or snap at you further, returning to his work just as quickly as you made yourself comfortable.
The quiet scratching of his pen is the only noise in the room for a while, coupled with your occasional shifting in his sheets. His hammock was comfortable enough, but you couldn’t imagine how he slept in it so often. It was probably to blame for his back problems, among other issues.
The setting sun casts the room in a comfortable orange light, serene in its display. Like this, everything feels homey and peaceful. You could drift off to sleep here without a care in the world… too bad you had other plans.
Your shifting became purposefully restless, and it bothered him, if the glares he sent over his shoulder were signal enough of that. Then you added in little sounds of discontent, sighs, groans, whatever made him flinch the most. Finally, when it didn’t seem enough to get his attention, you pestered.
Leaning over, much too far to be safe, you pressed a finger to the back of his head. It gives you too much amusement when he flinches, hunching his shoulders up tight against his neck. An annoyed groan pushes itself out of him, and he fixes you with an ice-cold glare that does little to quell your joy. It was his fault for not kicking you out, after all, he knows what you’re like.
“You looking to get into trouble?” he asks, slowly moving to abandon his work.
You give him a pout, “Me? Never. There was just something in your hair.”
“Was there now,” he’s incredibly intentional with his body language, moving slow and steady as he stalks up to his full height, looming above you now. Right where you want him.
Head tilted to the side, you give a Cheshire grin, “Mhm. Just trying to be helpful.”
An eyebrow is quirked, “Helpful, hmm?”
Another step closer, and you’re being pulled up to sit, forced to crane your neck to look him in the eyes. A calloused finger runs along the sensitive underside of your chin, keeping you locked on him. Subtly commanding your obedience. It’s nearly effective in getting you to behave. Nearly.
“You want to be helpful,” he hums, a smirk crawling over his features, “I have a few more options that’ll be far more effective. All you have to do is listen, you can do that, can’t ya pet?”
You lean into his touch, selling the act of submission like you were born for the role. You even let a shudder roll down your back when he strokes your chin lovingly, feeling the smallest bit of guilt at ruining this little moment for him. It all disappears as you hum, smile turning catty.
“No, I don’t think I can…”
“Go– what?”
You cross your legs, closing him off from access in a small way, “I said, I don’t wanna. I’d rather listen to Qifrey; he’s better at giving directions anyway.”
Olruggio looks offended at the suggestion, mouth agape and gasping for a response. The brattiness of pitting them against one another sends his mind into a tizzy. You have to resist rubbing your thighs together at how excited that gets you.
His lips twitch, a response finally coming to mind, but he is stopped by the sound of a small voice calling your name. You smirk, all too pleased at the interruption, and pat him lightly on the shoulder as you stand to leave.
“Girls need me,” you hum, sugary sweet, “shouldn’t leave them waiting, should I?”
You don’t wait for the response, taking care to walk down to his door, just so he could stare in shock for a little while longer. The only regret you have is that you can’t sit and admire the sheer bewilderment on his face a couple of moments longer. You’re sure it was terribly cute.
—
Nightfall is when everything falls into place. You noted how Qifrey had slipped into Olruggio’s room at some point before dinner, and quietly reappeared at your side before it was time to eat. Good, they were discussing.
You only do your part in helping the girls get ready for bed, playing innocent and unaware. Again, Qifrey disappears for a short while, only to manifest himself as you say your final goodnights to the girls together. Still, he doesn’t say a word about anything for a long time.
The two of you sit in your own places in front of the hearth, passively engaging in your activities without conversation. It almost disappoints you that he doesn’t bring up anything; perhaps this endeavor of yours would take a little longer than you hoped. Oh well, the juiciest fruits always require a little more ripening.
As you reach the last page of the chapter you were on in some book you were hardly paying attention to, Qifrey stands. Not only does he stand, but he moves behind you, leaning down in your space as if it were his as well. There is no betrayal of what he is thinking in his eye, but a sparkle of mischief alights something within them. You can’t prove it, though.
“Darling,” he hums, soft and low, almost like a warning.
You make a small noise of acknowledgement, casually marking your spot and closing your book.
Something about that displeases him, if the twitch of his brow was any indication, “Olruggio asked us to his room. He wishes to test out a new theory.”
“Theory,” you question, allowing him to help you to your feet and guide you up the stairs like a maiden, “I wasn’t aware he was that kind of intellectual.”
He hums, pressing the door open, “I must admit, I was a bit hesitant when he suggested it to me, but I believe it’s… well deserved.”
“Deserved…?”
The door closes behind you, and from the corner of your eye, you see Qifrey place a silencing spell upon it. Oh. Deserved.
“Since you seem to have new preferences,” Olruggio sounds, leaning over the lip of his cozy little workplace, “I thought it only fair we indulge you as you please.”
The man at your side nods, urging you up to the nook with gentle hands, “If that’s alright with you, of course. We wouldn’t want to displease you.”
Olruggio's desk is clear, except for himself, of course. A small seat between his legs is open, more than likely for you. He regards you with mild interest, though he is careful not to show too much. You were in the hot seat, after all, so he couldn’t let you believe you were getting off free.
You become all too aware, all too late, how much Qifrey is crowding you. Perfectly slotted between yourself and your only easy exit out of the situation you’d built for yourself. If you wanted to escape, that is.
The man leans over your shoulder, just enough that you could see the false smile on his lips. Goodness, he was not happy with your little shenanigans, “Darling?”
“Ah– yes, of course,” you sputter out, then quickly compose yourself, “I wouldn’t deny such a thing.”
His smile turns warmer, but not warm enough, “Wonderful. Then, you’ll strip yourself for us, won’t you?”
You watch, taken aback, as he sits himself on the hammock politely. Like he was having afternoon tea, not planning to defile you. Such words from Qifrey of all people knocked the wind out of you.
You don’t have time to respond before Olruggio is laughing, “What? I thought you liked takin’ command from Qifrey, unless that was a fib.”
You scowl at him, quickly tugging at your shirt, all too eager to prove him wrong with rapid precision “Of course it wasn’t–”
“Slowly,” Qifrey corrects, drawing your attention back to him, “I’d like to savor this, if you don’t mind.”
You swallow, taking a moment to collect yourself, then nod. Always the obedient little thing when Qifrey was around.
Carefully, you pop the buttons of your shirt, one by one, until they are all undone. You feel Olruggio’s eyes on your fingers, hotter than his own magic, awaiting the sight to be revealed at each opening. But before you can open the shirt itself, Qifrey makes a little tut, “Turn. Olruggio is fond of your back.”
No attempt is made to hide the way you grip your shirt, nervous, but listening as you shuffle to face Qifrey again. He is still smiling, but something more heated lies beneath the surface. A sort of smug satisfaction at your obedience. Selfish bastard.
Intentionally slowly, you open the shirt, revealing your chest to him. His eyes do not leave your face, and that is more embarrassing than anything you were doing for him now. You don’t stop sliding it from your shoulders, though, knowing the repercussions could be worse than this. On your other end, Olruggio’s eyes are boring into you. Taking in each revealed expanse of skin like it were a painting to be admired.
Qifrey tilts his head, observing the two of you with unbridled interest, “Skirt next, my love. One layer at a time.”
Your fingers tuck into the hem of it, making a show of drawing it down over your rear, bending down as it pools at your ankles, then the underskirt in a similar fashion. You draw your arms up your legs as you rise, sliding slowly and sensually across your thighs and then around the swell of your ass until you are upright again. Naked and barefoot as you stepped out of the fabric for good.
The white-haired man in front of you regards your show with beguilement, tapping his chin thoughtfully through the whole display. That blue eye of his squints at you like you were a puzzle to be solved, thinking over everything with careful consideration. You shiver as it trails along your exposed flesh, feeling naked more than just literally now. Olruggio, behind you, is drawing his eyes over your back and rear in quick succession; you can feel the way he savors the sight with intensity, can picture in your mind how his hand trembles in anticipation, wanting to touch and knowing he too must behave for tonight.
Qifrey breaks the tension, clapping his fist into his hand, determined, “I’ve got it!”
It’s too cute for the scenario you’re in, like he’s figured out what he’d like for lunch, rather than how he’ll be having you instead. He leans to the side slightly, looking past you to Olruggio, who shifts behind you.
“I’ll have you make room between your legs,” he hums, too cheerful, “she’ll be needing that spot.”
You hear the rustling of fabric, resisting the urge to turn around and look behind as Qifrey does. In the few moments you have with their attention off of you, you think it’s a bit odd to be bossed around by Qifrey in the bedroom. It’s more odd to have Olruggio be completely quiet; the two of them often have some sort of banter, which eases the tension of sex. Yet, with only Qifrey speaking and Olruggio listening intently, it puts the pressure on. Despite your brattiness getting you here, you want to perform now. You want to please, because this strangeness in the air ignites a fire in your stomach you’d like to extend further.
When Olruggio is settled, Qifrey pulls you back into the moment with a little wave of his hand. You listen immediately, backing up part of the way before Olruggio drags you the rest and settles you between his legs. Without a word, he hooks one of yours over his, holding you in place with a hand on your hip and your thigh, spread nice and wide for all to appreciate.
With the little light the floatglow lamp provides, you can see how your folds are glistening in arousal. Excited shivers run up your spine, anticipating the touch yet to come as Olruggio strokes your inner thigh as if painting his own masterpiece.
“What a pretty sight,” Qifrey murmurs to himself, fingers running across his lips.
A gruff sound of agreement breathes across your collarbone, “Aye. It’s a sight to behold.”
“I’ve been thinking about it all day,” the other man admits, almost rueful in his tone, “after your little admission, I couldn’t get the sight out of my head. It was improper to be thinking such things when I have a responsibility to the girls.”
“I must say, when you’d told me I was lookin’ forward to it myself,” Olruggio agrees from behind, “but… I’m not sure she deserves it just yet.”
You try not to squirm, but your shoulders tense just the tiniest bit. Just enough that Olruggio would notice at this proximity, and he does, if the chuckle he huffs is any indication. Logically, they would never leave you unsatisfied; the two of them were too giving for that. Emotionally…? The very idea that they would make you redress and deal with the arousal yourself made you want to vomit.
“Don’t think she likes that one,” Olruggio smiles.
“No, it doesn’t seem so,” comes the reply, and cheekily, he taps his chin as he thinks up his next words, “but… what else could be deserving of poor behavior? If only there was something she could do to make it up to us. Do you have any ideas, Olly?”
Blue eyes watch your face intently, “I’ve a few. How's about we start with an apology, yeah?”
“A wonderful idea, and an explanation as well,” Qifrey cheers, “it’s only fair, don’t you agree, love?”
You feel your walls flutter around nothing, trying to ignore the way your heart is pounding against your ribcage. So this was the angle they were taking, how humiliating. It’s only made worse because it’s too effective at getting you to crack. Two against one simply wasn’t a fair fight, and you weren’t willing to take it in your state.
You open your mouth to explain, then close it quickly. What was the best way to phrase your plot without getting into more trouble? Vulnerable as you were, it was hard to come up with any words to excuse it all. But, punishment or not, Qifrey was always too aware of your internal strife to leave you fumbling too long – even when he was supposed to be upset with you.
“Come now,” he soothes, making his way over so he could cup your face in his hand, “all you have to do is tell us just what you’ve been thinking in that silly little brain of yours, we won’t be cross. Will we, Olruggio?”
The raven-haired man behind you shakes his head, “‘Course not. Just need to ‘ear if from ya, right?”
You swallow, pressing your face into Qifrey’s hands for extra pity points, “Well… I had this idea… I only wanted to see how you’d react, honest. I’m sorry for causing you two trouble.”
“And we’ve already forgiven you,” Qifrey soothes, his thumb across your cheek, “but we’d still like you to tell us what you were aiming to achieve here.”
“Well, you’re both… rather skilled in certain areas… and I was wondering how you might react if I’d insinuated otherwise?” You offer, making sure to pout up at him (though the look only ever works on Olruggio).
“Jealousy then?” Olruggio laughs.
“Not exactly–” you try to defend.
“How cute,” Qifrey damn near giggles, “you could’ve asked if you’d liked us to switch roles, no need to cause such a stir.”
You huff, “The two of you always tease me when I do! Besides, that wasn’t the point.”
“Point aside,” Olruggio reminds, squeezing your thigh, “you’ve given us a brilliant new idea. Why don’t you let us test it out, hmm?”
Qifrey brings you back to him with a finger under your chin, “All you have to say is no, and we’ll stop right away, alright?”
You nod, watching as he backs up to the hammock again, and suddenly you’re back where you were. Legs spread, naked, and completely dependent on them. Olruggio’s calloused hands squeeze your thigh and hip at a steady pace, reminders of what's to come. And Qifrey resumes watching you like prey, amusement oozing off the pair of them in waves. The moment you stepped into the room, you were a lamb to the slaughter, and your hungry wolves seemed to hold little patience for what comes next.
“Olly,” Qifrey calls, and the other man acknowledges it with a grunt, “I’d like you to spread her open with your fingers.”
He nods, and the hand on your hip slides down, slow and careful, until they reach your folds. With practiced hands, he spreads them open, cool air hitting your more sensitive bits all at once, making you shiver. He kisses your shoulder reassuringly, soothing the chill with heat running down your spine.
“She’s glistening,” Qifrey grins, resting his head against his hand dreamily.
“Practically soakin’ my skirt, aren’t you, lass?” Olruggio teases lightly.
Fingers dance along your thigh, mirroring the way Qifrey’s tap across his cheek, a tango only the two of them knew the moves to forming. It gave you a thrill. What would be next?
“I’d like to see…” the man across you mumbles.
Olruggio doesn’t let him finish, drawing his fingers down to coat them in a thin layer of your slick. It connects him to you for a little while longer when he pulls them up to the light, stringy, clear fluid separating as he spreads his fingers. Both of them seem a bit surprised, Olruggio repeating the motion thrice before he is satisfied at the sight.
“My…”
“We should do this one more often.”
You wiggle impatiently, reminding them that you were there and still capable of hearing. Olly settles you with another squeeze to your thigh, but his hand returns between your legs dutifully, resting along your folds while he awaits orders. They come quickly and without hesitation.
“I’d like to see how you do it,” he gives thoughtfully, “I’ve never paid attention, and… perhaps she had a point. I could learn a thing or two.”
“Can’t imagine it’s much different,” he mumbles into your shoulder, “you alright with that?”
All it takes is your nod, and he’s moving his fingers where you need them most. Olruggio wasn’t one to hesitate much in bed, so it's no surprise when he starts by dipping two fingers inside your sopping hole. It pulls a muffled sigh from your throat, head rolling back onto his shoulder with it.
His fingers are thicker than Qifrey’s, more textured from how often he uses his hands on his contraptions. They stretch you out better, but they don’t reach quite as deep as the formers, not that it's an issue when he strokes the ribbed ceiling of you. Each come hither adds to the tightening of your walls around him, drawing you deep into pleasure.
At the same time, the butt of his palm nudges your clit, ensuring all of you get the love you need. He works you up fast and without effort, creating a symphony from your lips alone. It's a relief after all the waiting you’d done, happy to find that your punishment was not the lack of a high. Your toes curl as your orgasm builds, warming your body inch by inch as it spreads evenly across your skin.
Then, “Wait.”
Instantly, Olruggio stops all his stroking and pleasuring, sitting completely still inside you. It makes you huff indignantly, wiggling forward in his lap for a little friction. All it takes is a warning look from Qifrey to stop you.
“You go too fast,” Qifrey comments.
He shrugs, “It ends the same anyway.”
“That sounds so unlike you… half of the fun is the journey, after all.”
“Half the fun is bein’ inside her.”
The silver-haired man clicks his tongue at both of you, shaking his head like a disappointed father. It's the same look he gives the girls when they’re too reckless, or when they complain about something they shouldn’t be. If you could, it would get your thighs rubbing together.
“Both of you are too impatient…” he stands, returning to his place in front of you, only now he crouches down between Olruggio’s thighs.
With patient hands, he carefully lifts your other leg to rest over his shoulder, leaving you completely exposed to the open air in the room. Yet, Qifrey’s warm breath heats the air between himself and your quim. Slim fingers squeeze the meat of your thigh, the other resting upon Olruggio’s just as well.
Olruggio peers down at your partner over your shoulder, scratchy beard tickling your collarbone as he rests his chin there, “You intend to tell me how to fix it, then?”
“Of course,” he smiles, “first of all, the internal parts are just as important as the external. You shouldn’t focus on only one or the other.”
“I’m giving the external plenty of attention–”
A black brow arches, soft lips turning to a frown, “Do you want to learn, Olruggio?”
That kills any protest either of you might’ve had, not that you had much stake to begin with. Olruggio quiets his complaints, determined to listen well now that he’s been told off once. That’s the difference between the two of you – in the bedroom at least – he doesn’t need to be told twice.
“Good, now,” he pats the other man's thigh, “go on and remove your fingers, and I want you to really look at her when you do.”
He listens, of course, he does, and he leaves you feeling empty and cold as his fingers leave. His fingers glisten with your slick, the same way your folds did earlier. You want to lick the juice off them, taste yourself on his skin. Instead, Qifrey lifts his own, takes Olruggio by the wrist, and cleans them off himself.
Your brain stalls for a moment as his tongue swirls along the digits, mouth agape at the sight. He knows it too, that blue eye of his squinting up between the two of you, sparkling with that mischievous delight he has. Then, without a word on it, he carefully guides the hand back to your folds and shows Olruggio how to hold your lips open.
“This is a two-handed activity,” he instructs, “normally I’d like to draw it out a bit, but we’ve already warmed her up quite enough. So, this once, hold her open for easier access, then you’ll bring your other hand down to find her clitoris. Understood?”
He nods behind you, beard drawing along your shoulder, tickling you in a sinful way. The hand supporting your thigh comes between his fingers, finding your clit with ease. He doesn’t move the hand, however, awaiting his instructions like the well-behaved dog he is.
“Stimulate her with small circles– slowly. We don’t want to overwhelm her.”
Again, he does as told to a t, swirling the sensitive bud in careful, even circles with his calloused fingers. The care that he does so is unlike his usual rhythm, always quick with the foreplay, too eager to get to the fun part. Not as though you mind that, but Qifrey’s method added a certain something paired with Olruggio’s more roughness. It brings out a surprised ‘oh’ that tapers off into an unsure moan.
The motion is careful, consistent in speed and pressure. Each roll builds the pleasure in your stomach again, but far more steadily than before. Rather than feeling as though it was a wave crashing against you, it was a simmering heat bubbling over you. Somewhere along the lines, Qifrey taps his thigh again, and the speed increases a little. Still, his motion is considerate of how fast and rough he is, maintaining the steadiness Qifrey tends to prefer. Each tap to the thigh is an increase in speed, and each increase brings you closer and closer to the edge.
Your toes curl again as that same spread of heat crawls through your nerves, alighting your body in pleasure. Eyes close tight, not even trying to hold back your sounds anymore. It’s intense as it makes its way through your nervous system, that wonderful tightness overtaking your senses, so close to the edge you can feel yourself tumbling– then it stops.
A childish whine escapes your chest before you can stop it, throwing your head up again to glare at your offender. Qifrey holding Olruggio’s hands in each of his, which twitch impatiently in his grasp. His smile is all but cheeky, despite being the one on his knees here.
“What was that for?” You complain.
“I’d like to know as well,” Olruggio mirrors, clearly discontent.
Your other half merely grins, kissing the inside of your knee apologetically, “Forgive my selfishness, I’m feeling a bit… hungry…”
You blink, “Hungry…?”
Olruggio connects the dots faster than your mushy brain can, and leans back with an arm around your waist. You nearly protest, if not for the answer coming in the few moments you are glancing back at Olruggio in offense. Fingers pull apart your lips again, and lips press attentively to your already swollen bud. It makes you gasp, twitching in their grasp, but it does little to deter your determined beau.
His tongue follows the kiss, licking a long stripe up and latching onto said bud. He suckles on it gently, aware of how sensitive you had become, making sure you remained with him the whole ride through. When he opens his mouth to fully envelop you, he makes sure to lock eyes with Olruggio behind you, as if to say, ‘make sure you’re watching.’ You know he is; you can feel the shallow puffs of his breath on your cheek, completely enraptured by the show between your legs.
Then, and only then, does Qifrey work his tongue over your clit. Licking, rolling, and sucking so intentionally that you think he might be going after your soul. That blue eye of his does not break from the pairs above, intensity burning hotter than the pleasure he’s bringing. Forcing you to look.
Even when you tried to throw your head back, Olruggio’s hand pulled your face up and held it tightly in his grasp. No more bad behavior from you for the night; you would obey just as well as he had. The demandingness of it all made you throb hard, hands struggling to find purchase on anything. They settle on Olruggio’s skirt and bury into his hair, holding tight in hopes that might keep you tethered a moment longer.
You were hardly aware of the sounds you were making, especially not when he did that thing– that awful, wonderful thing with his tongue. There was a silencing spell on the door anyway. A few moans were hardly worth worrying about. That’s why you make a surprised little squeak when two slick cover fingers slip into your mouth, fighting them for only a moment until their owner whispers “you’re alright,” in your ear.
This is what you had wanted earlier, the taste of you mixed with Olly. Fingers pressed against your tongue, letting you clean your sweetness off his warm fingertips, covering them in saliva. It silences you, distracts you. Just long enough that Qifrey can sneakily slip his fingers inside you. The digits are long and deft as he presses them deep inside, reaching your sensitive spot effortlessly and drawing magic against it.
You are thankful that the fingers in your mouth muffle the embarrassing moan that choked its way up your throat. The fingers inside of you pet in the same way Olruggio had earlier, only more intentional in their movements. Your own tighten and curl where they rest on Olly, doing your best to try to savor the feeling washing over you.
When your toes curl, Olruggio removes his fingers from your mouth, instead pushing them through Qifrey’s white locs. He makes a sound of appreciation, which vibrates through your entire nervous system, ripping your moans out of you, helpless to stop them. You can feel the orgasm coming; it's not nearly as subtle as it normally is. This is a forest fire raging within your stomach, and the only thing that will douse it is Qifrey’s kindness in putting it out himself.
As it begins to hit, you screw your eyes shut, wanting to savor the feeling entirely. Yet, calloused hands squeeze your cheeks harshly, tugging your head just a little to startle your eyes open, “Eyes on him, yeah?”
Qifrey makes a disapproving sound at the roughness, but that only aids in furthering your spiral. The furrow in his brow as he admonishes your other partner, the preciseness of his fingers, his tongue doing that thing, and the very sight of him taking all of you on is what does you in.
You seize against both of them, orgasm burning across your whole body in an intense wave unlike any other you’ve had. Supported by both of them, keeping you firmly in place and looking straight at Qifrey as he works on elongating it as long as possible. And he does, working against you until your head is spinning, and he knows that you cannot take any more, lest you pass out from the pleasure.
He slows, easing you from your high, rather than torturing you with another sudden cut off. Hands from both parties are soothing you to relax, until you finally go limp into Olruggio’s chest. Deep breaths, mimicking the ones behind you, until you have calmed down fully. Only then do you open your eyes back to the present, where calloused hands are petting your stomach, and a scratchy beard is pressing soft kisses to the shell of your ear.
Your legs are closed now, resting naturally rather than stretched out as before, Qifrey working out the knots formed from the awkward position already. It all makes you smile, petting the man’s head appreciatively as you snuggle up to Olruggio for more warmth.
“Did you enjoy yourself?” He mutters into your ear.
You nod, “Mmm. I believe I’ve learned my lesson as well.”
You feel and see them smile, Qifrey standing to his full height now, “I would hope so. I do hate punishing you.”
“I feel as though that’s a lie,” you grin.
Olruggio eases you up onto your feet, helping you find your footing on jelly legs while Qifrey takes your hands to steady you, “We would never lie, would we, Olruggio?”
“Never,” he hums, “now, let’s get you cleaned up. Wouldn’t want an infection.”
You nod, shrugging on a too-big shirt he offers you without any protest. You allow them to float you down, rather than walk, for their sake more than yours. Yet, it is only when you are halfway to the bath that you realize.
“What about the two of you?” You whisper, glancing between the two of them.
Olruggio is the one to smirk at you this time, “I’m more than satisfied, aren’t you?”
“I’ve had my fill, besides,” Qifrey squeezes your side playfully, “I doubt you could handle much more than that.”
“Wh– of course I can!” You whisper-shout back, offended, “Come now, allow me to–”
You lose your footing, stumbling a bit as your still weak legs wobble and nearly give out beneath you. Caught by your partners, still clinging to you, the only things keeping you from getting yourself into more trouble.
“Still so stubborn, even after our lesson,” Qifrey scolds, steadying you.
Olruggio nods his agreement, “We’ll have to give you another when you’re in better shape, of course.”
It makes you scoff, but the smile on your face shows your true feelings, “The two of you are terrible… just like me, I suppose.”
You see the muscles in his face twitch before he even realizes he's doing it again. His eyes flutter shut, jaw widening as his lips part, stretching wider until the sound that's been irritating you slips out.
"Haahhh," the yawn slips out loudly and tiredly from him. His arms stretch behind him as if trying to release every last bit of sleep that lingers on his body.
You don't think he's even aware that was his fifth yawn in what felt like less than a minute.
"Have you been sleeping well, Qifrey?" As much as his yawns annoyed you, the thought of him being unwell worried you more.
"I wish I could say that I have, but honestly," the light tinge of pink dusts his cheeks, his hand awkwardly rubbing the back of his neck as a dopey smile creeps onto his lips, "I've been a little restless."
"Have you had any of the herbal tea Tetia prepared for you?"
"Down to the last drop," Qifrey murmurs, his head drooping onto your shoulder as he closes his eyes. He lies there, ready to accept even an ounce of the slight possibility of sleep.
There's a beat of silence before you whisper into his ear, and your words have the opposite effect of sleep. His eyes snap open, and his body jerks away from yours as he stiffens. His lips part again, but not because he's about to yawn—no, he's wide awake, heart beating out of his chest. His mouth opens and closes, at a loss for words.
"You…think that would work?" He doesn't reject your offer. Instead, he's flustered, flushed with red, as he looks at you wide-eyed.
"One way to find out."
The sun has set, and the moonlight creeps into Quifrey's bedroom.
You're sitting on his bed while he rests his head on your lap, his lips nursing at your breasts. Quiet, wet slurps as his lips suckle softly at your teat. His eyes flutter softly, quiet murmurs of moans slip from his mouth, tongue flicking your hardened nipple. It teases you, sensitive to the flicks of his tongue. A quiet whine slips from you as your body trembles slightly before you pay him back the favor.
Your hand, slick and intoxicated from his musk, slows its rhythm. You squeeze the shaft of his cock a little harder as you trail upwards. The pretty pink color of the head oozes the pearly white cum from its opening, dousing your fingers in its color.
The pace of your hand edges him. His hips buck impatiently into your hand, cock throbbing and pulsing in your magical touch. He can feel himself inching closer to release, and hopefully a good night's sleep. The tip of his cock weeps the pretty white down his length, forming slick milky white webs between your fingers, and a frothy white pooling at the base of his cock. His lips pull from your nipple with a satisfying 'pop,' and his eyes squeeze shut.
"I'm c-cumming," his voice stutters between the whiny gasp of his breath. His breath labors. Every breath matched the pulsating twitch of his cock. His hips snap upwards, back lifting off your lap as a sharp gasp echoes in the walls.
It was undeniable. He could feel the heavy drag of his eyelids with every blink, lips parted as he caught his breath. He was curled up, losing the fight to stay awake, but that was the whole point.
"Good night, Qifrey."
Olruggio: Good Morning
Olruggio had a terrible habit of sleeping in. Even when the sun crept through the window by his hammock-like bed, the warmth of the sheets pulled him back into a deep slumber. You were determined to make him an early bird—as Quifrey likes to call himself—but Olruggio was more of a black cat—curling into himself and napping in the morning sun. Maybe a little incentive would help.
For a moment, Olruggio suspects Coco's brush buddy has sneaked back into the room, but the movement is larger, a little heavier than a brush buddy's. With every movement, it emits a warmth that has him almost drifting back to sleep, were it not for the small, wet kisses traveling up his chest. Pulling the covers over himself, he's met with your coy smile and batting lashes.
"Oi, what's this?" his already gruff voice is rougher with the sleep that refuses to leave his body. His lidded, tired eyes stare at yours that twinkle with bits of mischief. "It's too damn early in the morning."
"Really?" you purr at him. Your feverish hands rest on his chest, slithering down until they catch the hem of his pants. "I just want to make sure you have a good morning…"
You tug his pants down, and Olruggio sits up, making it easier for you. He's slouched against the brick wall, eyes still heavy with sleep, watching as you do your magic.
Your fingers playfully squeeze the muscles of his thigh, massaging away the knots of tension. Your warm breath hits his stirring cock, hardening with every peckish kiss. A deep chuckle slips from his lips as he watches you burrow yourself into the patch of dark hair between his legs. His ears pick up the dark pants of your breath, bathing yourself in his musk.
Your kisses grow heavier… sloppier. Your slobber bathes his cock, drowning it in your essence. Puffy lips drag up and down the length of his girthy cock. You're too much of a tease for him, especially when it's too early in the morning for him.
With a final kiss, you pull back, and a trail of spit follows you.
"That's it?" his voice betrays him, coming off more needy than he intended.
"You're awake, aren't you?"
"What you gave me was a morning kiss," Olruggio leans forward, grabbing you by your hips. His fingers catch at the hem of your loose sleepwear, pulling the thin sleep shorts off until your pantied, clothed pussy stares right at his salivating mouth. "Waiting for my good morning."
"Every good morning starts with a hearty breakfast, wouldn't you agree?"
"I do."
Olruggio doesn't waste a second before your underwear pools around your ankles, and his thick, large fingers spread the folds of your cunt apart. A slick shine webs between them, and his mouth latches on. His tongue laps upwards between your pulsating pussy, your withering legs, shaking in his hands, ticklish from the gruff hair of his beard. A deep groan rumbles from his chest, nose nudging your swollen, needy clit. Your slick runs down his chin, and you're pulling at his dark, messy bed hair.
If a weeping pussy is the reward he gets for waking up early (on time), he wouldn't mind putting in the effort once in a while.
A/n: I had a plot...then I lost it!
Unless I saw it wrong, but Olruggio's bed is the hammock attached to the brick wall, right?!?! I mean...imagining riding him and hearing the chains rattling with every bounce on his cock...imagine if y'all break the bed. RAHHH FUCKING IN THE AIR IN A FULL NELSON!!!! I mean, what??? Who said that!!!

A brat? Had you heard that correctly? You looked at Olruggio, his irritating face, then around the rest of the busy tavern. He watched you. He had his mead pulled halfway away from his mouth, some of the foam on his mustache.
“Are you talking to me?” You ask and he makes a face, setting his cup down rather forcefully.
“I looked you in the eye and said it didn’t I?” He grumbles, squirting his eyes at you. You squint yours back at him even harder.
“Now, Now, dear friends,” Qifrey tries to placate but both you and Olruggio give him sharp looks and he pipes down. “I think I’ll grab myself another drink.” He says, pushing wobbly to his feet and weaving away from the table you two sat at. Both your eyes slice back to each other.
“If anyone's acting a brat it’s you.” You hiss, yanking your drink to your lips. Olruggio raises his brows.
“I’m not the one accepting drinks from strangers.” He points out.
“And how does that make me a brat?” You argue.
“Because I already bought you a drink!” He argues back. You shrug your shoulders.
“So? I finished the one you bought me.” You drink out of the stranger bought mead and Olruggio fumes.
“So? That means you ask for another.”
“From you?”
“Yes from me!” He growls. You huff.
“Why would it matter?” You lean closer.
“Because I asked you to come here with me! As a date, brat!” He leans closer.
“I am not a brat you brute!” You slam your empty mug on the table and both of you had been so close now, you could smell something warm and fresh, like hot coffee or dark chocolate. He suddenly pushed his hands on the table and got to his feet. He didn’t say a word, just strode off back towards the counter. You watched him lean over and say something. The innkeeper turned and poured two more meads before sliding it over to him. You turned and pretended you weren’t watching.
“Brute?” He repeats and sits back where he was, not missing a beat. You nod your head as he slides you a new drink. “Do you even know what a date is? Because it was supposed to be the two of us and you invited Qifrey!” Did you know what a date was? No. Not entirely. You had a clue though and for some reason spending time alone with Olruggio made your heart speed so you asked Qifrey to tag along. The poor sap wasn’t doing much anyway.
“I know what a date is.” You groan, blushing a little behind your mug. He watches you.
“I don’t think you do.”
“I’m a grown woman. I know what a date is.” You hiss back and watch a shit eating grin form on his lips. “What is that look for?”
“A date is supposed to be romantic. There’s nothing romantic about a babysitter.” He motions to Qifrey. Romantic? Romance… You blushed even more. You didn’t know shit about those things. You could argue up a storm with Olruggio but the quieter moments were beyond you. Yet he asked you and you agreed. You sprung Qifrey on him the moment you got here.
“He’s your friend. Don’t you like drinking with friends?”
“Any other night, sure. But not the one night I wanted to drink with just you.” He points out. You were able to keep glaring back at him for a while until now. You looked away, clearing your throat. Losing a slight bit of your composure. You forced yourself to argue back, even if your voice wavered a little bit.
“Well I was unaware of that.”
“Yes, because you’re the most unromantic person I’ve ever met.” He grumbles, leaning away from you back against the seat. You glared, nothing got rid of butterflies faster than annoyance.
“I’m romantic!” You insisted and realized the moment it came out of your mouth how silly it was. Olruggio laughed wholeheartedly, so hard he almost busted a rib. “Bastard! Quit laughing.” His laughter doesn’t cease, he’s wiping his eyes and shaking his head.
“You? Romantic? I never took you for a teller of tall tales.”
“Hush up.” You grumble and he smiles fondly as you look away. “I can be plenty romantic.” You double down. Olruggio’s smile grows cat-like, like a predator stalking prey.
“Can you?”
“I can!” You grunt, taking another drink, god you were so flustered, since when had this conversation taken such a turn into territory you were entirely unfamiliar with.
“Please demonstrate.” He says with a sort of ‘be my guest’ gesture. You glare again, reaching and downing the rest of your drink.
“Demonstrate what?”
“How romantic you are. Go on. Make me blush.” He smirks, leaning back. Huh? No no why had you even opened your trap! You silently prayed Qifrey would come back to the table but no such luck. You scoff, shaking your head.
“No.”
“No?” He echoes, that damn smirk still on his lips.
“No.” You double down, crossing your arms.
“You really are a brat.” He laughs and you can’t take it anymore.
“Alright, that’s it. Outside.” You say, shoving to your feet, the table rattling. Olruggio’s brows shoot up in amusement.
“Outside?” He echoes. “Are we going to spar?” He asks after you but you're already sweeping your way through the crowd of patrons to the front entrance. You shove the door open and walk onto the cobblestone path, there’s a soft rain pittering around you and the dying light of a street lantern. Olruggio pushes out of the door a moment after you, your cloak thrown over his arm. There’s a tight alleyway beside the tavern that you turn and walk to. “I confess I’ve never sparred with a date before.” He jokes and you grasp the front of his shirt and drag him into the alleyway. His warm hand eclipses your wrist and the contact startles you so you jolt your hand away. Standing in this tight alleyway you had no idea why you felt the need to ask him out here. You didn’t want to fight, even though he often got your heart ticking. You can hear his breathing, he shifts a little and shakes out your cloak before throwing it over your shoulders and tugging you a step forwards, bodies mere inches from being pressed together. “What’s the plan?” He whispers between the two of you. You swallow dryly, looking up at him. You’d never even stood this close to Olruggio before.
“I’m… I am…” You stumbled over your words and groaned exasperatedly at his growing smirk.
“Was there a plan at all?” He asks and then you suddenly remember his words from inside. ‘Make me blush’. Right… you step closer and Olruggio’s eyes widen a little.Proximity was romantic, right? His hands were still holding your cloak so you reach out and gently hold his wrists and swallow down your nerves.
“I wanted privacy.” You say and his face drops, that dumb smirk faltering. Perfect. A point to you.
“Privacy?” He asks and you nod your head, your finger’s sliding beneath the cuffs of his shirt to feel the warmth of his skin. His breath audibly catches and his brain momentarily short circuits. His lips part to speak but nothing comes out. Another point to you.
“Is this what you wanted all along?” You ask feeling foolish but his brows raise and the look on his face prompts you to continue. “When you asked me out? Is this what you envisioned?” Olruggio’s grip on your cloak suddenly tightens, you can feel it by the way his wrists flex slightly with the force. Another point. You just needed that blush, so you let one of your hands wander up his arm, you gently squeeze his bicep before sliding against his face. His cheek is rough with stubble. You watch his eyes close momentarily and when they open back you don’t even notice his blush because the way he’s looking at you fills you with electricity. His right hand lets go of your cloak as he places it on the brick right beside your head, practically trapping you.
“You're in dangerous territory, love.” He says roughly and you believe that but you can’t pull away, nor speak a coherent sentence as his other hand slides beneath your cloak and against your hip. Now you’ve passed the point of no return. You didn’t notice the rain had started falling a little harder and he mutters annoyed, letting you go to cast a spell to keep the rain off you. The patrons started filtering out of the tavern back to their homes as your attention was drawn to them momentarily. The moment of reprieve lets you get your word back. You wear a smirk.
“I made you blush.” You force out, trying to regain that composure you had lost several minutes ago.
“Hm.” He hums in agreement, his eyes flick down to your lips and your stomach flips at the sight. “Seems you did, although I wouldn’t say your methods were very romantic.” He quips softly, leaning close. You make a face at him, glaring again.
“Just admit you were wrong.” You say and he nods his head, his eyes fully on your lips now.
“Mhm I was wrong. So so wrong.” He murmurs and you can feel the soft whisper of his breath against your lips. You bite your lip hard enough to bleed and dig your nails into your leg to try and snap out of this moment. But it was no use because his hands were back on you again, warm and large against your hips. “I’d give it a try too but you’ve been blushing almost the whole night.”
“Have not.” You argue and he smiles fondly at you.
“Must be my imagination then.”
“Clearly.” You say but he’s leaning for your lips and you're not stopping him. In fact you meet him halfway. His kiss is gentle at first, careful and exploring. His scruff brushes against your mouth as his lips move in rhythm with yours.
You two were as good at kissing as you were arguing.
Falling into a rhythm of push and pull. His hands leave your hips to gently grasp either side of your face as he backs you up against the brick of the alley wall, his hand sliding behind your head so you don’t bump your head against the wall. He presses you into that wall again and again, hips moving against hips. The friction is so good, annoyingly good so you deepen the kiss, your hands sliding around his hips, cold fingers dipping under the hem of his shirt. He makes a noise against your mouth and you swallow it up. You didn’t have to ask if this is what he envisioned because the way he’s kissing you right now, almost calculatingly told you all you needed to know. He’d been looking forward to this. Massively.
-
It was raining out. You never minded the rain but Qifrey did. You figured since you lost him in the market you’d go on ahead and he could meet you back at the atelier. You weave your way through the crowd as a man sweeps into your path.
“Morning, miss.” He greets you with a toothy grin. He sweeps a flower from behind his back and offers it to you. “I’ve seen you here many times but I just wanted to say… you are the most beautiful creature I've ever seen.” Rain patters softly against your skin as you reluctantly take the flower.
“Very kind.” You say shortly, maneuvering past him but he reaches out and grasps your wrist, tugging you back a step.
“Miss-” The rain stops and you notice a moment too late that a shadow has fallen over the man's face. He wrenches his hand away from your skin as if burned him. “Apologies.” He says but not to you. You turn slightly and there stands Qifrey, imposing and sharp eyed, the spell he usually casted to keep the rain off of him now extended to you with how close he stood.
“Don’t apologize to me.” Qifrey says with a sort of controlled anger. Though you're sure it wouldn’t be so controlled if you weren’t around. He tended to keep that side of himself away from you. This all was sort of a bother. You didn’t really care for an apology, you would’ve rather just sent him flying with a spell. The man’s eyes snap to yours and you can see the fear there.
“My sincerest apologies, miss.” He says and you shove the flower against the man’s chest.
“I accept.” You say sharply. The man hurries away with that and you watch as Qifrey watches the man go. Then his full attention rests on you. He gently grabs your wrist.
“He didn’t hurt you, right my love?” His thumb gently caresses the inside of your wrist. You pull your hand away. You two were in some sort of… you didn’t quite know the word for it. You two had a deep connection that was dancing around the word romantic. But despite that you still pulled away at most given moments, almost like it was programmed into you. Qifrey didn’t mind at all though because the moments you didn’t pull away sustained him for months.
“He grabbed my wrist. That’s all.” You answer, looking around the spell. It was barely raining out, he really shouldn’t go through the trouble of casting something like this.
“Yes… but I have observed him watching you for a few days.” Qifrey says as you shrug your shoulders a little.
“Let him.” You answer, starting to walk the path back to his atelier.
“I’d rather not.” He says, picking up pace to fall in step with you. “Desperate men are dangerous.” He says and you know he doesn’t mean himself but it makes you snort a little. You wouldn’t necessarily call Qifrey desperate when it came to you, though you have heard him beg and plead many times. He narrows his eyes at your snort. “Something funny?” He asks, trying to keep his voice light. You shrug your shoulders again. “You actually have quite a few men watching you, you know that?” He asks and you almost sigh. This again. “The man at the market and the man at the fabric store and the-”
“Man at the tavern? I actually don’t mind that one. He was entertaining.” You say and could tell by the silence that spread between you two on this walk home that you might have just stepped over the line. The only thing that could be heard outside of Qifrey’s spell was the soft pattering of a slowly passing rain.
“Is that so?” He inclines and you can hear the tightness in his voice as you step over a puddle.
“He had good stories.” You say, pulling your cloak down, it wasn’t needed beneath the shelter of his spell.
“I have better stories.”
“That’s nice.” You say, hiding a laugh. Qifrey makes a huffing sort of sound.
“Tell me one of his stories.”
“I can’t recall them right now.”
“Ah, so they're good but not memorable?” He asks and you blow out a laugh.
Everything was a competition to this man when it came to you. Someone else made you laugh? He is going to make you laugh harder. You smiled at someone? He needs a bigger smile. This man didn’t like second place. He jogs ahead a little once you're closer to home and pulls the door open for you. You're surprised he hadn’t picked a flower along the way-
“Here my love.” And just then a bouquet is procured right in front of your eyes. All your favorite flowers of course. You hand brushes his as you grab the bundle of flowers.
“Qifrey,” You start, wanting to maybe fumble your way through a little apology.
“Nobody else deserves you. Please… understand that… When you act that way it… drives me wild, my love. Will you please have some mercy on me?” He asks, sweeping you deeper into the house. You place the flowers on the table and his hands slide against your hips.
“The girls-”
“Are out for the day with Olruggio.” He answers swiftly, pulling off his cloak, his hands sliding beneath your cloak to drop it off your shoulders.
“You’re dramatic. I wasn’t acting any sort of way.” You say and Qifrey pouts slightly.
“You like to tease.” He says, gently tugging you into the kitchen where he backs you onto the counter and stands between your parted legs.
“Sure but not everything I do should cause such… jealousy.”
“I’m sorry, my love. I meant no harm. I trust you. I just don’t like all those eyes on you. Nor do I like some hollow words being spoken to you.”
“Ah… didn’t like the beautiful creature line?” You tease and he instantly shakes his head.
“No. You are no creature. You are a goddess.” You almost roll your eyes. This man was shameless in his attraction to you. He notices your abashed reaction and takes your hand in his, pulling it to his lips, starting to kiss your knuckles, each one, then turns your hand over to kiss your palm. You watch this and chew your lip a bit to keep from making any embarrassing sounds or movements. He trails kisses to your wrist. “You are divine. Too exquisite to be looked at or touched so casually, my love.” He pulls your hands to his face, pressing your palm against his cheek. “Please do remember this… because the next time I won’t be so accommodating to some leech looking at you.” He says, a slightly unbalanced look in his eyes. He continues his kisses up your bare arm, pushing your collar aside as his lips press against your neck. “Please, my love.” He whispers against your neck making you shiver, his teeth grazing your neck like he wants to mark you as his but can’t quite manage to blemish your skin.
“I'll remember.” You say, throat tight as his warm hands pull you flush against him.
“Promise?” He asks, pulling away from your neck to meet your eyes. You nod your head and his face breaks into a bright smile, he sweeps you from the counter and walks you towards his room, placing sloppy kisses against your neck the whole way there. “I don’t want to share you with a single thing. Not the outside world, not some man at the market or even the damned rain.” He turns you around and kisses you deeply. “Will you only think of me tonight?”
“Just tonight?” You ask against his lips.
“I don’t want to be too selfish.” He says but you can hear it in his voice. The possessive jealousy you brought out of him tonight.
“I’ll allow it… tonight.” You say, one step forwards. He melts against you, kissing you deeper, little sounds escaping his lips with each frenzied press.
“Do you mean it?” He asks, kicking his door closer, pulling at whatever clothes he could of yours.
“I do.” You say and he’s getting you in his bed with the swiftness of a fox.

You’re four years old when your mum comes back to your apartment on Coruscant with the happy news.
She nears your room, where you're trying to screw back together a toy lightsaber that you somehow managed to dissect — tongue sticking out of your mouth, a concentrated pout prominent on your face. You’re really your father’s daughter, she ponders sometimes, thinking back to that blonde boy on the sand planet that managed to build a whole robot with scraps. The nurse droid, RO-N4, is dutifully watching your work, assuring that you don’t hurt yourself in the process and hinting at the pieces that should go back together; she raises her head when she sees that Padmé has returned.
You jump up when you notice her, running to give her a big hug, almost making her lose her balance; but she’s used to it, and wastes no time in hoisting you on her hip. The robot stands up, ready to gently reprimand you, but your mother gingerly shoos her away with a smile. “Why don’t you go out with Threepio on a walk? I’ll stay here with her. We have something to discuss.” she winks at you, “Some serious girl talk to do, am I right?”
You giggle — that childish, innocent laugh that makes hours of relentless debates in the Senate worth going through — rubbing your cheek against hers. “Yeah! I have shoooo many things to tell you, mama!”
The robots follow the senator’s suggestion, stumbling their way out of the door, and you soon go back to the area dedicated to your toys to show her your hard work. “Look, mama!” you’re basically jumping up and down in joy, holding up the pieces of the once toy lightsaber. “This is the cyber crystal–”
“Kyber crystal, sweetie.”
“Ky-ber crystal. And then this is the one part of the handle with the switch–”
You could go on and ramble for hours, she thinks. She’d happily listen to all and any of your thoughts and wonders and never get tired from it. Soon enough, Padmé’s lying down on the soft sponge puzzle pieces of the playmat that serve to prevent any possible injury from falling over. We’ll need to change those soon, she thinks absentmindedly, she’s already grown out of the always-falling-over phase.
She isn’t sure of how much time passes; at some point your ramblings slow and you scoot closer to her, sniggling in her lap. “Mama,” you mumble, yawning. “‘m so happy that you’re here. I missed you a lot today.”
Her heart breaks. A hand carding through your locks, she smiles sadly, “I know, sweetie, I’m sorry that mama has to work so much. But I promise it’s just so that once you grow up you will be able to live in a peaceful Galaxy, without ever worrying about learning how to fight like your papa.”
You perk up. “But I wanna be like papa when I grow up.”
She shakes her head, feigning her best scandalized expression. “How dare you? What am I, chopped liver?” she takes you in her arms and blows raspberries in your cheeks, making you squeal and thrash around. “Nooo! Don’t, mama, it’s ticklish!”
“What about being a senator, mh?” she offers, not unkindly. “We can fight too, you know.” She puts on her best imitation of Palpatine and presses a matter of utmost importance, “Senator Skywalker, what do you think we should have for dinner as of today?”
Your chuckle makes your little chest rumble against her belly. Your surname is not Skywalker — it is Amidala, often Naberrie when on Naboo, but never have your parents referred to you as that; they mostly leave it out when asked, avoiding the question but never stating either the truth or the cover-up. There’s still hope to change the Order, Anakin always says, that one day she can wear my surname without it causing a scandal. And Padmé believes him: and she believes that when the time comes, you’ll be rightly known as Senator Skywalker.
Suddenly, you go quiet. “I want papa,” you whisper it like it’s forbidden — it kind of is, but you shouldn’t know that. Padmé’s heart breaks a little again. Anakin was sent out on a mission two weeks ago and hasn’t even been able to keep in touch ever since, making you miss him terribly.
She laughs as softly as she can — she doesn’t want to hurt your feelings. “No can do, sweetie. Papa isn’t due to be home in at least another three days, but I’m sure that once he’s here he’ll be elated to spend some time with you. Besides, you can’t eat papa for dinner.” she rests her cheek on her hand, patting the free space next to her. “Until he comes back, it’s just you and me. What would you like to do tomorrow? I have no Senate meetings.”
You scoot closer, lying down on the spot she just patted, curling against her chest, “Can we see Ahsoka, then?”
She chuckles a little quieter now. Her and Anakin still don't know how to explain to you that she left the Order a while ago and has no intention on returning to Coruscant any time soon. “Ahsoka’s away like papa, honey. But I’m sure that once she comes back, she’ll be just as happy as he will to spend time with you.”
She smooths your hair back, pressing a lingering kiss to your forehead, pressing her hand up and down your back. She wonders how good of a sister you’ll be; and even if she knows you’ll be wonderful with the new baby, she still can’t bring herself to say it out loud. “How about I make some shaak meat and then get you prepared for a good bubble bath?”
You look up at her, pouting, “But I’m big now! Do I really have to bathe?”
Padmé bursts out laughing. “You’ll have to clean yourself your whole life, sweetheart, to hopefully not smell like a bantha.”
You huff, glaring at her. “Papa barely even showers.”
“Papa stinks. He was raised on a planet with barely any water and still considers showers optional. Do you ever hear me tell him how I love his perfume? No, that’s because he doesn’t use any. You hear me sending him to sleep on the couch because he smells terribly, though.”
You end up eating your dinner — vegetables included — without a fuss and going to take your bath like a champ. Somewhere along that timespan both the nurse droid and C-3PO came back home to be of help in cleaning the kitchen as Padmé prepares you for bed, lying down next to you and reading to you one of the stories in the hologram that Anakin bought on one of his last missions.
MId-story, she notices you get eerily silent. She carefully turns her head, trying to understand if you’re already sleeping, only to find you more awake than her, eyes open wide. “Is… is everything alright, sweetie?” she asks, a bit bewildered– just a moment ago, you looked like you were about to fall asleep, and now you look like you’re ready to fight everything that could be thrown at you.
“Mama,” you whisper it like it’s a secret, “I just remembered. How are they?”
She blinks, confused. “Who?”
“The twins,” you say, “Luke and Leia.” you pat her belly as if to state the obvious.
She looks at you, horrified — she found out she was pregnant today, and no droid or doctor mentioned twins. “I– sweetheart, what?”
You lean your head, confused. “I saw them yesterday in a dream. They asked me about you.”
Her heart almost stops. She laughs nervously, looking at you with wide eyes, expecting you to say something about the weird and absolutely not real dream that you had, but instead you just stare at her, completely serious. “What… what do you mean?”
You frown. “If you don’t know, then I can’t help you. Nighty night.” you tuck yourself under the covers and curl above her chest once again, sighing happily.
Padmé’s heart feels heavy. It’s happening again– you murmur something about having had a dream, say something even more alarming, then completely ignore what you just said and act like nothing happened. It’s getting worrying — Padmé managed to get you out of the Jedi program last year just because of her status as senator, but she is sure that this year, she won’t be as lucky. The quantity of midi-chlorians in your blood can’t be hid, unfortunately, and in probably less than a year she will be forced to give you up to the Temple.
Anakin’s sure you will make a great Jedi, but your mother’s worried — and how can she not be? Her husband’s more away than he is at home, and with the war going on, it’s already a miracle he manages to visit Coruscant. The fact that you seem to possess your father’s horrifying ability to dream about possible futures doesn’t ease her worries.
“I’m just worried about her–”
“But why? She’s young, she’ll be trained–”
“She will, but I don’t want her to be haunted by the thoughts of possible futures and whatnot.”
It’s late. You’ve already gone to bed, shushed by Anakin’s stories and anecdotes from his latest mission, and even if this should be a carefree and happy moment because her husband has managed to come back home unscathed again– your mother just can’t get something out of her head.
Anakin huffs and puts his hands on his waist, looking at Padmé like she’s crazy — there it is, where you got your attitude from. “I can always call one of the Temple guards and tell them that there’s a Force-sensitive kid here. They can train her until I can take her as Padawan; it’ll take, what? Six, seven years? Hopefully I’ll be done with the war by that time and will be able to focus on her as my padawan.”
His wife crosses her arms, glaring at him, “I don’t want her as your padawan,” she grits out, “I want her safe, here, where we can have a decent relationship and she won’t be stripped away from my arms.”
He leans his head and raises an eyebrow. “Sweetheart, I can’t make her dreams go away. I don’t even know how to make my nightmares go. But at the Temple, they can teach her how to control them, how to use them for her own good– for the Order’s and the Republic’s own good–”
“You say that just because you wouldn’t have any problems in seeing her,” she sniffs, “you’ll be a welcome, familiar presence in the Temple — but it is known that they don’t let anyone outside of the Jedi enter.”
His shoulders drop, and he starts shaking his head. “Padmé…”
“Don’t. Don’t tell me that we have to give her up to the Temple, because I don’t want to and I won’t–”
“But we’ll have to, Padmé, they’ll teach her everything she’ll ever need and–”
She bursts out crying. It might be the pregnancy, or the fact that she still hasn’t told him about it and it’s eating her alive, but she’s much more emotional than usual. “I don’t want them to take her away from me!”
Anakin’s eyes soften, his posture breaks, “Oh, dear,” he mutters, pulling her in his arms and letting her cry out in his chest. “It’ll be alright,” he murmurs, lips pressed to her head, “we’ll find a solution for everything.” He still doesn’t know when or how, but he’ll try with everything he has to solve this situation to the best of his ability.
He had honestly thought Padmé was exaggerating when she said that you were having visions, probably thinking it was just baby babbling or something, but he is proven wrong that same night, when he is abruptly woken up by the sound of the door of their bedroom opening.
“Papa?” you call out from the doorstep, voice sleepy.
He manages to get himself out of bed — when he’s home, night duty is always on him, as Padmé already deals with it enough while he’s away — and, yawning, he walks off to you and kneels down to your level, sending a glance to your bantha plushie safely tucked under your elbow. “What is it, sweetheart?”
Blank stare on your part, you look at him like a war veteran would. “You were being burned, papa.”
He blinks and counts to five before accepting that it’s way too late in the night — or early in the morning, he has no idea — to deal with this type of shit. “Okay, listen– how about we go catch some fresh air outside, hm?”
You let him pick you up without any protests, curling up in his arms as you whimper quietly. He drags his feet along the pavement of the apartment, sliding open the door to the terrace that overlooks the whole city; it’s like it never sleeps, always someone going around and about with their speeders, lights often left on in the apartments below. The night air sends a chill down his spine and he instinctively holds you tighter in hopes to shield you from the cold.
“Mum told me about these dreams you’ve been having,” he starts slowly.
You hum, pressing closer to him, the plushie squashed between you two. Your eyes look tired, almost older than you actually are, and his heart squeezes at the sight. “Papa, do you know Darth Vader?”
His heart skips a beat. He knows no Vader, surely not a Sith named like that, but the fact that you dreamed about it almost makes his knees buckle. He mentally promises himself to make some digging in the archives and reports for any Vaders that might be hiding out there. “I don’t, sweetheart. Do you?”
Your brows furrow, your little hand patting the skin above his heart. “I don’t think I do.”
He presses his lips into a thin line. “Well, what does he do in your dreams?”
Your frown deepens. “I never see him. But Obi-Wan’s afraid of him– or, or angry at him, I’m not sure. Maybe both.”
His frown mirrors yours. You’ve never met Obi-Wan aside from a time or two when he was assigned as bodyguard to your mother, but that was years ago; you shouldn’t be able to remember him. “How do you know who Obi-Wan is, sweetheart?”
You stare at him like he’s stupid. “Isn’t he a friend?”
“I mean, I guess he is, but you’ve never actually met him, have you?”
“Then I think I will.” you cuddle back on his shoulder like nothing happened.
Yeah, we gotta send this one to the Temple, he bitterly thinks. The thought of your mother alone in this apartment after years of having you around makes him sad, but there’s no one else apart from the masters there that could help you — he would try to, if the war wasn’t stripping him of all of his free time.
Anakin has no time to properly train you. As of now, he could manage to give you chopped notions and barely any principles; in the Temple, all the Jedi solely focus on the younglings’ training, a luxury he can’t afford right now.
She’s still so young, Padmé’s voice rings in his head, I don’t want her to forget about me.
Six years old might be already too old for a youngling, Anakin ponders, but five years old would be perfect. They still accept kids that age.
Another birthday for Padmé, he decides, another birthday and then off to the Temple she goes.
Except, he doesn’t know there’s no time for another birthday. Not for Padmé, anyways. Nor for him, too, some could argue.
“Papa,” you mumble, “could you sing me that lullaby?”
He chuckles affectionately. “Aren’t you getting a little too old for that?” He teases, with no actual intent in ever stopping to sing Ghost Star to you. You could be forty and him on his deathbed and, if you asked, he’d still sing it for you. “Ghost star, wonder where you are; Ghost star, are you very far? All night long, I will sing your song, if you watch over me…”
You do end up properly meeting Obi-Wan. That is, unfortunately, after — for what you know — both your parents die.
The air in the spacecraft is eerily still, as even C-3PO is stunned to silence. The tears on your cheeks have long since dried, and you keep fidgeting with a small, faintly glowing cube in your hands — the only thing you managed to take with you when your mother loaded you into the spaceship directed to Mustafar. She’s — was, was, was — able to open it, but you still have no idea how to do it; your father promised he would have taught you to, but… well. He now never will.
The cries from the med bay stopped a while ago. And while you’re still so young, you know that the silence means nothing good. You might not be a master of the Force, or know enough about it to understand fully what it means, but you’ve felt it — your mother’s presence slipping away in favor of two smaller ones.
Finally, after a time that seems never-ending, Obi-Wan emerges from the door connecting the hallway with the infirmary, his expression full of sorrow. He looks surprised by your calmness, almost as if he had expected you to have gone crazy by now. “Hi,” he breathes lowly, tired and remorseful. How do you tell a kid her mother’s dead when just a few hours ago you had to break the same type of news about her father?
After he understands that you’re not going to reply, he gets closer and kneels in front of you, taking note of the cube you’re holding in your hands — a holocron. Does she know how to open it, yet? “Hey, kid,” he tries as softly as he can, “I…”
“Mama’s gone, isn’t she?” You interrupt him. Obi-Wan almost stumbles; the look in your eyes is scaringly similar to the one Anakin had sometimes, strangely old for your age. “I felt her slipping away like papa did.”
His lips are pressed into a thin line as he puts a hand on your shoulder. “I’m really sorry,” he says it even though he knows it won’t change anything. “We tried everything, but even the medical droid had no idea what to do.”
“Oh,” C-3PO mumbles as R2-D2 beeps sadly. “This– this is horrendous news.”
You nod absentmindedly, like you’d seen it coming. “Are Luke and Leia okay?”
He raises his eyebrows. “Who?”
“The twins. Are they okay?”
As even Padmé looked surprised by the fact she was having twins, he wonders how in the world you knew and gave them names. Your mother left no names behind, and he had thought about just naming them after your parents, but if you already had names picked out… then it’s not his place to name your siblings, is it?
“They are.” C-3PO sighs in relief as R2-D2 lets out a happier beep. “Would you like to see them?”
You nod timidly, almost stumbling as you stand up from the chair you sat in and taking Obi-Wan’s hand when he offers it to you. You’re still gripping on the holocron like a lifeline, its dim glow faltering every now and then. “Do you know what that is?” He asks, pointing at it as the door to the infirmary opens.
You glance at it, unsure. “Dunno. Mama always played the hologram inside when I missed papa, but I tried opening it and it didn’t work.”
If Padmé managed to open it, then Anakin must’ve programmed the holocron so that the Force frequency needed to open it was small enough that she could play it; even if you were a prodigy like your father, though, it would be impossible for you to open it without directions or a minimal training.
The nurse-droid your mother brought with her is feeding some milk to one of the twins when you enter — Obi-Wan guesses she might have had it with her the whole time, because he doesn’t remember this ship having such a thing as baby formula in its stocks.
RO-N4 places the infant back in the cot with the other twin as soon as they burp, and since you’re still too short to properly look at them Obi-Wan has to take you in his arms for you to have a good peek.
“This is Leia,” he murmurs softly, pointing at the baby with small tufts of brown hair. “She was born first.” He then points to the smaller, uglier and balder twin, “And this is Luke; he was born right after.”
You coo, pushing your index finger against Luke’s cheek. “They’re so ugly,” you state, not exactly with the intent of insulting them– just saying what’s in your mind.
Obi-Wan chuckles fondly. “Well, I’m sure you were at least as ugly as them when you were this little. Pretty much everyone is.”
You turn to him, holocron still in hand, hesitantly nudging it to him. “Mister Obi,” you say, calling him with the nickname that later on will stick to him for pretty much your entire time spent with him, “do you know how to play this?”
He nods, taking the holocron in his hand and changing his hold on you so that he can use his other hand while still keeping you upright, “This is a holocron. It’s used by Force users to store information and files, and it opens if infused with the Force. Let’s see…”
He concentrates on the cube, focusing a small amount of Force within it, then delicately twists the corners as it starts to glow steadier. Just as he expected — the smallest amount of Force that even Padmé could’ve been able to conjure up. The holocron starts to float, projecting a hologram in the dim-lit room.
It starts with Anakin, clearly just knighted as a proper Jedi: he’s still a bit scrawny, his hair’s yet to grow after the braid and the small ponytail for padawans had been cut. He looks a bit embarrassed to be in front of the camera as a small baby’s cries echo in the recording. “Do I really have to do this?” He mutters.
A laugh comes from the side, and the baby’s cries get louder — maybe closer to the camera. “Of course you do!” It’s Padmé’s voice, amused but clearly tired, stabbing directly into Obi-Wan's heart. That poor, poor girl… “It’s the only way she’ll stop crying, and since you’re mostly off-world, she’s mostly crying. This will solve a lot of my problems — even the droids are starting to go mad.”
A pair of arms and a swoosh of a dress appear to the side, and suddenly a crying infant is trusted into Anakin’s hands. It’s you, his master realises, crying as if the world’s about to end, face all red and pudgy, definitely a bit less ugly than your siblings. Your father’s eyes soften in a way that makes Obi-Wan’s heart ultimately crumble.
“Hey,” he murmurs, cooing and humming as he presses kisses all over your cheeks. He winces as your face contorts even more, “Now, c’mon, don’t look at me like that,”
“Please, Master, just sing the song!” It’s C-3PO’s voice in the distance, full of despair and anguish. “Another sob and the metal holding me together might just turn to rust!” R2-D2’s beeping seems to be of the same idea as him.
Anakin huffs, glaring down at you with no real hostility. “You’re one hell of a spoiled baby, you know that?”
Your cries continue nonetheless. He glares at the camera. “Padmé, I love you, but if anyone else ever sees this, I’m divorcing you,”
“You would never,” your mother’s knowing voice is a mere rumble in the distance as Anakin settles to hold you tight to his chest, pressing a kiss to your forehead before starting to sing.
“Ghost star, wonder where you are; Ghost star, are you very far? All night long, I will sing your song, if you watch over me. Ghost star, hiding in the night, all your friends are all so bright… when the sky is clear, I can sense you near, looking down on me. Ghost star, silent in the sky, now I start to wonder why. Show me your light; I've waited all night. Ghost star, won't you sing with me?”
He sings the lullaby multiple times until you’re completely knocked out, dismissing Padmé when she offers to take you back to your room, preferring to keep you close for another while. His stare as he looks at you is so tender that Obi-Wan can’t believe he just had to leave him to die.
Soon enough the recording restarts, the same banter and song again, but he lets it play. Every word is a guilt trip, every laugh a stab in his chest, and the image of Anakin with a baby happily sleeping against his chest might just be the end of him.
By the time he finally shuts the holocron off both you and the twins are passed out; he tries to convince himself that the hole in his chest isn’t gnawing away at the last bit standing of his sanity. He looks at you, carding a hand through your hair, of the same tenderness as your father but with the same curl of your mother's, and decides here and there to never tell you about what really happened on Mustafar. Not that he really had the intention to do, as of now, but… you don’t deserve to know about Vader. Obi-Wan won’t let you live with the knowledge that your father killed both himself and your mother, no.
And so, the lie about Darth Vader killing both Senator Amidala and her loyal guard, Anakin Skywalker, who lost his life fighting for hers, is born.
Fun Aeron fact: he makes jewellery with good luck charms for people he likes and for people he dislikes he makes them jewellery cursed with a minor inconvenience
