Hi.
Alamat Ragasa: The Concert
December 6, 2024 - Attended my last concert for the year. I’ve been wanting to watch Alamat perform live since I randomly stumbled on their songs on Spotify last year. Their sound is unique, with songs in different Filipino dialects, which I find really cool. There’s also a distinct vibe to their music—something that feels rooted in the sounds of the Philippines’ local ethnic groups.

2NE1 Fourever [Welcome Back Tour]
November 17, 2024 - I finally attended my first-ever K-pop concert. What made it even more special was that it was for the group that first introduced me to K-pop back in 2009—the first group I stanned and still stan to this day. The OGs: 2NE1.

September 23, 2024 (Monday) – Day 3 in Bangkok, Thailand
We were out and about around 9 AM, taking it easy since we were on our own schedule. We took the bus again—I really loved their bus system and live tracking app—and got off at Bang Rak. Our first stop was Jok Prince, a spot I found after researching Michelin guide recommendations. We ordered just one bowl of porridge to share. It was our first meal of the day and the perfect way to start—simple, comforting, and delicious with a smoky flavour. Plus, it was cheap!

September 22, 2024 (Sunday) – Day 2 in Bangkok, Thailand
We were out and about by 9 AM. Our first stop of the day was Wat Benchamabophit Dusitwanaram, a Buddhist temple. We planned to take a bus, but the hotel staff said it would take too long since only a few buses go that route, so we grabbed a Grab instead. We arrived just before 10 AM, and luckily, there weren’t too many tourists yet. The entrance fee was 100฿, and the temple was really nice—peaceful and not too crowded. We didn’t stay long, though, and after checking out the place, we moved on to our next stop.

September 21, 2024 This will be the first part of my travel story as I want to document everything that happened during our stay, and it might get too long for one post. For this entry, I’ll be sharing the events of our first day.
Last weekend, Asis and I went on our first trip abroad together. While it wasn’t the first country I’ve ever visited—my earlier trips were when I was seven, and I can barely remember them—I like to officially think of this as my first real trip abroad. I had wanted to visit Hanoi, Vietnam, but I couldn’t find an affordable fare for October or November. I was working with a budget since my friend, Jhaey, generously gifted us the money for an international flight within Asia as a wedding gift.
Anyway, I remembered that Asis wanted to visit Thailand for its food, and it just so happened that Cebu Pacific had a seat sale at the time. So, voilà—Bangkok, Thailand, it was!
