Ok ok I may be being obtuse here so please correct me if you feel the need but I’m sort of upset that recently a lot of things I’ve been reading about bi vs pan is saying that bi people have attractions to all genders and like…idk it’s upsetting me bc I identify as pan and I really don’t think bi is an attraction to every gender. It’s making me as a pan feel less included and taking the special out of the pan category

the only reason pan is special is because it happens to be a “lgbt identity” that hurts lgbt identities.
op… op why are you telling bisexuals what bisexuality is? please stop. and for the love of god, RESEARCH LGBT HISTORY. look into bisexual history!! reclaim the beautiful history that rightfully belongs to you!! bisexuality has meant all since at least the 70s and the only reason pan has become such a popular label is so people can distance themselves from the biphobic stigma surrounding the bi label!
you! have the power! to fight against that internalized biphobia! and call yourself bisexual! and reclaim the history that belongs to you! you don’t need to be included because you’re bisexual!! you’re already included!!! you can make the brave choice to stop identifying as pan because it’s biphobic and transphobic! you have the power! please use that power for good.
you have a loving community with a rich history right here in front of you if you just take that scary step and stop iding as such a harmful label.
