I really am just living for the hope of it all
Words from Clarice Lispector in The Hour of the Star
allergic to small minds with loud mouths
they dont tell you this but you carry your upset younger self in you like a parasitic twin
Beautiful mid-century restaurant postcards from the U.S.
how do i know if this man actually respects me?
try disagreeing with him
The human heart stripped of fat and muscle, with just the angel veins exposed.
Every quite ache ,every thunderous joy. All the stories told and untold .It remembers doesn’t it ? You say heart can’t handle such complex tasks ,that it is the brain that stores all routine and rot.
The brain remembers facts but the heart remembers feeling.
You forget the date, but not the ache. You forget the words, but not how they made you feel. The brain stores the story but the heart? The heart stores the silence in between.
Some memories don’t live in the mind at all. They live in a skipped beat, a sudden chill, the way your chest tightens when a certain song plays as if the past slipped through time and found your pulse.
The brain moves on. The heart archives.
Not neatly. Not chronologically. But wildly like veins branching into places you can’t name
You are a museum of emotions and somewhere in you, a feeling still beats for someone long gone.

I love with my teeth
they should let me listen to music while looking out the window of a train for my entire life
less artificial intelligence and more ancestral knowledge please.
