How did Game of thrones turned into a mediocre soap opera within one episode?
From a Battle with Dragons where you don’t know which is the right side, controlling the game with power, money, bureaucracy, incredibly smart battle strategies that include trying to protect the people, giving away home lands to win the bigger battle, figuring out how to not to look like a foreign dictator, convincing the bank to support you, while a bigger thread was coming…

Thinking about Sansa
Perhaps it’s not a new discovery, but I realized she has now come to a position that replaces Robb’s absence.
She is the eldest Stark, trusted, loved and respected by all the family members. Especially with Theon and Jon, who have identity issues. She is the reason they are not strangling each other to death. They will probably die for her too.
And if you try replacing “Sansa” with “Robb” in Jon & Theon’s brief conversation in s7e4 you will get what I mean.
S7E4 left me thinking, family reunion may not be too far away.

Is that a Greyjoy ship?
My favorite trait about [Theon] is that he’s a human being, you know, he makes mistakes. That’s probably what I like about him most is that he’s not this archetypal hero, he’s complicated and he’s different. As a whole, he’s just a complicated character, and I relate to that.
Just want to put it out there that I am immensely proud of Theon in last night’s episode.
For someone that is still reeling from the attack of his House’s fleet, the kidnapping of his sister, a PTSD episode and god knows what bodily stress from being in cold water all night, among other things He STILL stood there in front of Jon and looked him in the eye
No attempts at apologies he knew didn’t have a place at the moment
No excuses.
His first concern was Sansa.
Like seriously, stop for a moment and really think about this
After all that man went through along probably dealing with fear of wrath from Jon
He.Still.Stood.There.
And that says so much to me
It speaks of incredible character and strength.
I can only imagine the amount of emotions running through his mind at that moment along with still reeling from the effects of trauma.
Next to that, by facing Jon……even though he didn’t know the full extent of how Jon would react and/or possibly do to him
Theon Greyjoy did not run away.
He has taken full responsibility for all of his actions in the past and yet expected no mercy, pity or sympathy after what was done to him.
That’s more that I can say for most characters in this series
And in the end, its another moment of showing how amazing of a human being he is
Because for a character who was one of the most broken and beaten in this series….. he still extends more depth, strength and courage than most of the people who hold the swords, shields and power.
