I have decided that I am incompatible with this reality. Meet me in a parallel universe.

you are not a machine. you are more like a garden. you need different things on different days. a little sun today, a little less water tomorrow. you have fallow and fruitful seasons. it is not a design flaw. it is wiser than perpetual sameness. what does your garden need today?
like i promise if you find a way to be physically active in a way that you enjoy your life will literally change for the better in every other aspect. Sometimes u dont need a new relationship or a new job or whatever u think u need ur body is literally telling u Hey we havent climbed anything or leaped or ran for fun in the past 10 years and u have all this built up tension.
You know what? Itâs really like that sometimes.
This is automatic stress relief

When we arrived, the first thing we saw was a hand drawn sign that read, âAnyone entering or trespassing without my permission will be shot if caught.â It was signed by the campâs owner, Jay DeBadts. The entire entourage of about twenty people stopped in front of the sign, except for Bobby. He kept right on walking, his head down, into an old bus that was the living quarters for three migrant families.Â
He walked into the bus and saw some children, alone, playing on a filthy mattress. The children were covered with unhealed scabs and flies. There were no toilet facilities on the bus, and the windows were filled with torn cardboard.Â
Bobbyâs hand began to shake from the rage he felt looking at the children. It was like watching a man going through a religious conversion. Then an old, bent Negro woman wandered into the bus, and Bobby, on instinct, reached out to touch the back of her neck. He asked her how much money she earned, and she told him one dollar an hour for picking celery. He made a face like a child tasting medicine, and shook his head, and then he just stood there, with no one else in the smelly bus, holding the calloused hand of the old woman for about a minute. Then he went out and rejoined the rest of the entourage, which by then was being shouted at by the campâs owner, Mister DeBadts.
When DeBadts saw Bobby he said, âYouâre just a do-gooder. Youâre here just trying to grab a few headlines. Get off my property."Â
In a whisper, through clenched teeth, Bobby replied, "Youâre something out of the nineteenth century. I wouldnât let an animal live in those busses."Â
The next day Bobby wrote a letter to Governor Rockefeller asking him to investigate the health conditions in all the migrant worker camps in the state.Â

Happy Twin Peaks Day
âDiane, 11:30 AM, February 24th. Entering the town of Twin Peaks, five miles south of the Canadian border, twelve miles west of the state line.â
not to be a mean anti or whatever it is ppl are calling it nowadays but I donât think adults should make nsfw content of childrenâs media. at all. idc if itâs about the adult characters bc thatâs literally the bare minimum. what art and fics do you think show up when kids search for their favorite characters or tv shows
BE THEY DO CRIMES
Fun fact, some suffragettes used a very similar thing to argue that women should be allowed to vote - because if the âheâ in voting law doesnât include women, then neither does the âheâ in any other law, so either women can vote and are law-abiding, OR women cannot vote and are free to steal, not pay taxes, etc. Some people went so far as to break laws to make their point! (âWhatâs Your Pronoun?â by Dennis Baron is my source, and a good read).
