I’ll be taking a month long hiatus from all social media again so that I can ground myself spiritually and seek direction from the universe. I feel that I’m in need for growth and I must first shed my addiction to escape through social media. This does not mean I intend to isolate myself. On the contrary, I find that relying on social media to be the communicator between myself and my friends and family has caused a profound disconnect that I want to rebuild from my newfound confidence in identity. My baby is very sick. There’s not much we can do for him but love him and make sure he’s comfortable. I love him with everything in me and I’m eternally grateful that me and Scott have the relationship that we do. Love transcends romanticism, responsibility, duty, judgement, or obligation. True love is without condition, obligation, or purpose. True love doesn’t justify violence or abuse for the sake of duty or protection. Only now that I’ve broken away from everything I’ve ever been taught, do I understand and know genuine love. I love my baby Mikey for the beautiful spirit he is, and I love Scott for who he is, not for what he means to me.
