Joaquin Phoenix has exited Todd Haynes' gay romance movie, just five days before the production was set to start in Mexico.

So it looks like Danny Ramirez’s gay movie won’t be happening because Joaquin Phoenix dropped out last minute (even though the movie was his last idea). Very sad. Apparently he went to SDCC not knowing if production would continue.
