Hi, my name is Domo. I’m just an autistic senior that reblogs and likes things, and occasionally draws every once in a while. Be warned that I basically draw whatever I want, so one moment I could post a drawing in line with my interests, and the next it’s just something random that I wanted to try and practice drawing. I’m also not that active either, but I’ll try to appear on here more. Also, I’m working on a Neocities that I can link here as well. Hopefully I can finish at least the BYF/DNI part of it soon.

For Juneteenth this year, I'd like to share some information about a woman who few may have heard of. Her name is Dr. Opal Lee and she is considered the Grandmother of Juneteenth. She is still alive today as of June 19th 2026 at 99 years old!

Known as the “Grandmother of Juneteenth,” Dr. Opal Lee was present on June 17, 2021, when President Joe Biden signed the Juneteenth National Independence Day Act bill that established June 19 or “Juneteenth” a federal holiday. Ms. Lee said on that day, “Now we can celebrate freedom from the 19th of June to the 4th of July!” Opal Lee was born in Marshal, Texas, in 1926 and moved to Fort Worth, Texas, in 1937. At the age of 12, her family’s home was destroyed on June 19, 1939, but she nor her family allowed that to deter them from making an impact in the community.

Charcoal Cookie technology headcanons because I thought PDA meant Personal Digital Assistant when it actually meant something else in a selfship template

He(and literally everyone else in the Great Barren) would be the most tech illiterate cookies EVER. I just KNOW he would fall for those 2000s Nigerian prince scams with enough convincing and persuasion.

If he ever had a phone it would most likely be one of those very old phones that had a phone line or it would be a very old flip phone with almost no features except for calling, texting, and MAYBE taking pictures.

Charcoal would've most likely had those very old pdas that could get the job done, but couldn't really do much socially or browsing wise.

Knows jack about internet culture, slang, and memes. He would probably still unironically use those very old memes like 'One Does Not Simply' or Sparta. But once he spends enough time on it, he'd start to understand the lingo and use it efficiently. He'd still use old memes in conjunction with new ones though.

Because of the ability to adapt and get with the times, people would speak of him as the cool spooky internet grandpa who lives in a spooky place. He'd probably make videos(or posts if he doesn't have a camera or recorder) telling stories or writing in a notebook.

He wouldn't be very active due to his duties and all around not really using the internet too much.

Devsis is in trouble of possibly going bankrupt

Devsisters is currently at risk of going bankrupt.

Whether or not you liked the latest stories, I truly believe that no stories at all would be so much worse. There is so much of this franchise we have yet to see and I would hate to even risk losing it.

As far as I'm aware, the most we as fans can do is spread information. I'm unsure how to help devsisters directly, though I have heard you can email them or make your own posts about ideas of how to better their company and just hope they'll listen.

Some ideas I've seen people come up with are things like better optimisation, more focus on side characters, and more focus on pre-existing games rather than crumble or new world, as well as having more time between updates rather than an update a month.

Feel free to add anything or correct me if I got any information wrong. There's a video by HyperHimes that explains things, and I know a lot of other big cookie run youtubers have talked about it too.

Please reblog, it's truly the least you can do but it's so much better than doing nothing. One thing we as a fandom can agree on is that we care about this franchise. We're all fans for a reason.
