I want to add that if people don’t like this, maybe they shouldn’t have made ‘gay’ the default cultural word for same sex/queer attraction. Gay marriage, Gay Straight Alliances, Gay Clubs, Gay rights. Gay is the default cultural word, and so lots of people use it, even if it isn’t a perfect fit, because it might have been the first one they used, or it might be the easiest thing to explain to the straights. 

So don’t blame bi people for this shit.

Not to be like “we live in a society” but I think a lot of people’s mental health would be significantly less fucked if they didn’t have to function in a system that forces them to think about their value as a human being as based on how productive they are/how much money people can make off them
